He's Not For Me

CHAPTER 13 | Seizures

As usual Billy took turns with Airin's parents in keeping him in the hospital because he had to work today, the time is not too dense he can finish as soon as possible so that he can return to Airin, his lover who still needs it most.

“Papa has come, I'm leaving baby. Call me if you want something”, said Billy gently stroking his lover's hair with a smile. Billy says goodbye to Airin's father and rushes out of the hospital to prepare for work.

“He really loves you very much. Even almost every night he takes care of you, you are very lucky to have a lover like himself”, praise the father looking at Airin who is lying in his bed. Airin just smiled in response to his father's praise for Billy, he also felt very lucky to have a lover like him. Since his father came, Airin began to look pale and he complained that his body was sick. Chemotherapy does have side effects like this but the pain that Airin feels is much more painful than usual. Until an incident made the father panic when he kept his beloved daughter alone, he pressed a small red button repeatedly to call the doctor immediately to Airin's room because Airin suddenly had a seizure.

“Sayang... Airin.. Airin was aware of nak”, shouted his father while holding Airin's body shaken due to seizures, his mouth began to emit foam, his eyeballs turned up. Airin's condition greatly made his father panic and fear. Soon the doctor and his team went into Airin's room and treated Airin immediately. The doctor stretched Airin's clothes and tilted his head, not only foam or vomit even blood came out of his mouth, making the father more panic made.

“D.. Blood?!.. My son's doctor bled”, exclaimed the father in panic.

“Father calm down first, he will be fine”, said the doctor handled Airin while calming Airin's father. It didn't take long, Airin calmed down and the shock stopped. Sister cleans the blood and vomit that came out of the mouth and nose Airin, now Airin unconscious. It was inconceivable how the father's fear of his daughter saw Airin convulsing and bleeding to such an extent.

“If the patient returns a seizure and the doctor's team has not arrived, please do first aid to the patient as I did. Stretch his clothes and tilt his head, if he bites his tongue let it go and do not put anything into his mouth”, said the doctor gave instructions to Airin's father who was still in a state of panic.

The doctor and his team came out of Airin's room, the father immediately contacted his wife about their child who had just experienced a seizure, Airin's condition every new not getting better and even getting worse. Treatment using chemotherapy feels like it's worsening the situation. The father could only see his daughter while occasionally checking her condition. Until a door opened, Airin's mother came rushing here after hearing the news about her son, she looked panicked and frightened just like her husband. Even after nearly half an hour of Airin's seizure, he was still unconscious.

“How can it happen?”, asked the mother increasingly worried about her daughter. Her husband simply shook his head while staring at their child.

“You've contacted Billy?”, asked his wife. Again he shook his head. His wife understood the actions of her husband who was not in a hurry to inform Billy about the state of Airin who arrived suddenly convulsions.

“However, he deserves to know dear. He's Airin's lover he's always looking after her when we're busy” said his wife to her husband who is still staring at Airin with tears, the father is very afraid of bad things happening to his daughter.

“Sayang.. I'm not ready if I have to lose Airin, why of all people should our children experience this?” the father exclaimed to his wife with tears dripping down.

Airin's room door opened again with a little rough, Billy came with sweat soaking his face, panic was very noticeable and his breathing was quite breathless that morning. He looked at Airin who was unconscious and approached him, the fear of Airin's condition made him so frightened that he was willing to leave his job for Airin.

“Mama, dad. Airin how?”, asked Billy in panic.

“Will he be okay?” billy asked, this time he approached Airin and grasped his hands that felt very weak, Airin's pale face added to the fear in Billy, he said, he loved his lover very much and was afraid that something bad might happen or even death would pick him up.

“Pacify yourself Billy, the doctor says he'll be fine” said the father trying to calm the frantic Billy since he came. Billy bowed as he continued to hold Airin's hand. The atmosphere of Airin's room was very quiet, there was not a single sound between them until Airin woke up.

“Airin are you okay?”

“Nak, does it still hurt?”

“Darling how you doing?

Asked the parents and his girlfriend in question, Airin who just woke up did not know anything, he did not even realize if he had just woke up from a seizure condition, all he felt was pain in his tongue.

“I'm fine, but why does my tongue hurt?”, said Airin while holding his mouth. Feeling relieved felt they wika when they saw Airin is fine. The same thing happened again a few hours after Airin realized from his stupor, in one day Airin had five seizures.

Airin's condition is bad enough to make both parents and their lovers did not move from Airin's room, the three of them together to keep Airin alert if Airin again convulsions. The day was getting late, now Airin became calmer and he had rested, even so both parents Airin and Billy still could not calm down.

“Mama and papa just go home, let Billy take care of Airin. After all papa's mom has looked very tired all day keeping Airin in the hospital. Do not get sick, because you are the source of Airin”'s strength, said Billy who worried about Airin's parents who began to look tired.

“Mommy and dad's kids, you should go home and take care of your health nak”, said the mother to Billy who looks very worried about their child. Billy shakes his head and tries to convince both Airin's parents that he will be fine alone here guarding Airin. Finally both parents Airin obeyed Billy's desire to go home and rest.

In other circumstances, a woman was waiting for the man who should have come since last, she had been waiting from day to night until the shop had to close immediately. Yuki looks restless in waiting for Billy who never came that day, he is very disappointed with the absence of the man he likes.

“Why didn't he come? Is he busy today?”, asked Yuki by staring at the row of red tulips that have been ready since. Yuki continues to hope that Billy comes to her even though it is night but until late the sign of Billy's presence never comes
