CHAPTER 14 | Stay With Me

One week after Billy accompanied Airin to the hospital, he left his job only to pay attention to Airin, the woman he loved so much. He focused only on Airin and ignored his life, his sweet treatment of Airin sometimes makes anyone who sees him feel envious including some hospital nurses who have been quite memorized with Billy who is always in the hospital to look after his lover.

“You go home and rest, almost every day you come here to take care of you. You also have your own life Billy, do not focus your life just for me”, said Airin who still sounds weak. Billy smiled and shook his head, he looked at Airin lovingly and drew closer to him.

“I'm doing it. You are my world Airin, when you really need me, I will be there for you just as you were always there for me when I was at the lowest point”, Billy replied, her gentle gaze really made Airin feel comfortable and a warm feeling enveloped her heart. It feels like he reciprocates Billy's all sweet treatment to him but what power, he who can only lie in the hospital can not please his lover.

“What do you want from me? I will try to do everything I can do”, asked Airin.

“Your recovery. I miss my old boyfriend. There are so many things I want to do with you Rin, so many”, reply Billy and then kiss Airin's weak hands gently.

For a moment Airin was silent, seeing his lover like this was actually really painful for him, he felt that his illness took his lover's life and locked Billy with him, Airin looked back at Billy, Billy, this time with glass eyes. He also wants to recover from this disease and do all the crazy things with his girlfriend.

“What if my recovery doesn't come? What if I can't recover and the whole life of this disease is in me? How...”. Billy quickly landed his fingers right on Airin's lips to stop every word and fear he overflowed.

“You will be healed. Trust me, there are many people who love you Rin. How could you give up and leave us all?”, said Billy to give spirit and rebuild Airin's confidence, he disposes of all sorts of fear and anxiety that exist in Airin and replace it with a belief.

“This may sound a little selfish but will you stay by my side until I recover? There will be many women more perfect than me who can only lie on this bed. But will you just look at me?”, asked Airin to Billy. The fear and worry of losing Billy is very visible from his gaze. Airin loves Billy and doesn't want to be separated from him. Billy nodded and again kissed Airin's hand on his face with a smile.

Airin's condition is better, he is no longer seizures like before. Billy has calmed down a bit and can re-arrange his schedule for Airin and for his work.

In the morning, while Airin was still soundly asleep Billy came out of Airin's room and stepped wherever his feet took him. In silence he pondered back to Airin's words last night, occasionally he sighed deeply. Although it is true that he loves Airin very much and is able to leave all his business to come to Airin when he needs it but still, until when does everything have to be like this?

Occasionally his wish brought back to him in the time when they were enjoying time together, clutching together to kill the night. Billy really misses the laughter and joking Airin he always hears, he misses Airin coming to him with a box of provisions he prepared just for him and all the crazy things he always does in front of him.

“Ah, fuck. I really miss Airin. This sounds so crazy”, he said with glazed eyes.

He does not realize that he left the hospital and drove his car to Yuki's flower shop. Billy was silent and saw the smile as well as the cheerful face of the woman. Billy gets out of his car and into Yuki's shop.

From where Yuki was, he could smell the distinctive scent of the man he so longed for, the moment after Yuki smelled that scent, his eyes immediately looked towards the entrance. A man stood firmly at the door of his shop, the man he had been waiting for from a week ago, the man he so longed for finally came back.

Yuki's heart is now beating faster, it feels like happiness has returned to him, for some reason his legs are like walking alone and he is unable to hold himself to linger and hug the man.

Yuki held Billy very erratically making the man quiet and sculpt. Billy is not sure what is happening right now, for a moment he thinks of Airin but somehow when Yuki runs to hug him, he also feels happy in his heart. Billy returned Yuki's embrace very gently.

“I really miss you so much”, Yuki muttered in her heart.

He wanted to feel like he was crying because the man he loved had just left and had never come for a week, leaving a feeling of longing piled up in his heart.

Their closeness seems to be known to Bianca who once again accidentally passed in front of Yuki's shop when she was about to visit Airin this morning in the hospital. Another moment he saw when Billy was with the same woman at the flower shop, even they both hugged, making Bianca can no longer think clearly about Billy and the woman.

“What? How come? Who exactly is that woman?”, asked Bianca confusedly but kept staring at Billy hugging Yuki for quite a while. Which friend does not think bad when his best friend's lover hugs another woman?

Without thinking, Bianca returned to the gas and continued her journey to the hospital where Airin was treated. His heart was not calm to see the incident in the flower shop, it was very desirable he said it to Airin but he himself did not have the heart to see the condition of Airin who had just improved.

The door to Airin's room opened, and with the basket of fruit that Bianca had brought, she entered Airin's room and found her best friend had woken up and was playing with her phone.

“Where does the sick person rest a lot, not play a phone like you Rin”, Bianca insinuated to her lover who is still cool with her phone regardless of her arrival.

“What do you see?”, asked Bianca once again because Airin still did not respond to his arrival.

“I only monitor the state of the office that I rarely see during this week”, reply Airin who still holds his phone.

“Put down your phone and eat this banana”, said Bianca who opened a banana for Airin.

Bianca looked at Airin deeply, as if she was struggling with herself, half of her wanting to resist telling Airin but the other half telling her to say what she had just seen.

“Do I have to say it?”, riled Bianca.
