He is, Amaya

He is, Amaya
You're the cure, Amaya

Amaya squirms uncomfortably after feeling stared at, slowly she opens her eyes and how shocked the first time she sees Dave's eyes with such a soothing look.

Amaya immediately lowered her head, hiding a tinge of red on her face. He closed his eyes as Dave kept staring at him. "Will you sleep? It's almost seven o'clock!"

"Huh, jesus!" Amaya just woke up. He looked around the room of the man sleeping next to him and his gaze was fixed on the wall clock still pointing to the number five.

Amaya looked down and looked at Dave annoyed. He ignored Dave who was laughing because he managed to work on it.

"You're so adorable!" Amaya doesn't care what Dave says. He uncovers the blanket and is about to descend, but his hand is pulled by Dave so that his body falls beside the man.

"Sir, I have to go home!"

Instead of letting go, Dave hugged Amaya tightly. "A minute, May. It's still dawn!"

"But, Sir!"

There was no answer and Amaya had no energy to break free from Dave's embrace. The only thing he could do was enjoy the treatment of the man he still hated.

Amaya chooses to calm down, she puts her head close to Dave's chest. There was a clear sound of Dave's heartbeat beating fast. Amaya looked up, looking at Dave who closed his eyes with a fluffy smile.

"What's wrong with me? There's no way that feeling still exists, right?"

"May ...."

Amaya. His gaze was still on Dave's face. The man's eyes were still closed. "Can it continue like this?"

Amaya lowered her head, she did not answer Dave's question and chose to return the man's embrace. No. Amaya knows Dave is smiling to feel his embrace.

"Sleep in a minute, May. It's a nice morning!"

By eight in the morning they were ready and had breakfast together.

Dave forbids Amaya from returning home and lends her cousin's clothes. Fortunately, the clothes are very fitting to wear Amaya, as if the clothes were purchased following Amaya's body size.

"Is the food bad?"

Amaya shakes. He did not dare to look at Dave. An hour ago made him so embarrassed. He was unconscious when he said it, asking Dave to sleep longer.

Lucky Dave woke him up when it was morning. When he was coming home, Dave forbade. He allowed Amaya to use her bathroom, while the man used another one.

"You've never seen a man's body, May?"

Amaya shakes. Really, Amaya was so upset that Dave asked her the thing that made her scream in panic.

"You're so innocent, I guess you've seen your girlfriend's upper body a lot!"

"Sir, please stop talking about it!"

"Alright, but make it a habit to talk to your opponents, May! Am I scary?"

Amaya lifted her face, she looked at Dave who was chewing his food while returning Amaya's gaze. "Sorry, Sir. But, I'm ashamed."

Dave chuckled, he almost choked. "Oh, my God. You're so funny. But, make it a habit not to be surprised when you see the body of an unclothed man. Later when you get married, even the entire body of your man will you see!"

Amaya turned her face away. He was distressed by Dave's bold remarks. "All right, don't be mad, May. I just want to melt the atmosphere. You have been quiet and always looking down!"

Amaya just nodded. He chewed his food in silence. Sighing slowly and then ventured to look at Dave who was watching him. "Thank you, this is the second time I've been able to sleep without having to have nightmares. Your touch is magical, May!"

Amaya finds it hard to swallow her food when she sees Dave's sweet smile. He kept watching Dave who was currently staring at the watch on his left wrist. "You're done? Aren't I meeting with one of our potential investors soon?"

"But your meal is not finished!"

Amaya glanced at the food on her plate that was still left. She shook her head. "I'm full. Besides, we should be able to meet with our potential corporate investors on time, sir!"

Dave sighed softly and then nodded. He said Amaya asked him to go to work soon.

Amaya did not expect if the potential investors they met, old High School friends first. Amaya was not at all comfortable with the gaze of the man before her. He spoke several times with attention to himself.

"Honestly, I was pangling. Are you really Amaya Sukma?"

Amaya just nodded. He was so uncomfortable with the gaze of his old friend who looked perverted. "You're beautiful, May! Though you used to be fat and .. sorry if I'm one of the people who also attacked you!"

"No problem. It was past!" anyway!"

"Why do you have to talk about the past, Dam? Now the focus is on the company!" Dave seemed to dislike his best friend who kept watching Amaya. "Our discussion is over, don't you have a lot of business? Better get out there, get your job done!"

Amaya saw the two friends staring at each other, then she saw how Adam nodded and left.

"Ah, okay. I'm gonna go. What you said is true, I'm a busy man!" He invites them to shake hands, but when going to shake Amaya's hand quickly Dave who replaces Amaya does so. "Huh, basic!"

Amaya just kept quiet. He did not care about Adam. He even chose to reply to Fhea's message rather than usher in Adam's departure.

"You don't seem to like Adam. Am I right?"

Amaya puts her phone on the table and looks at Dave who is waiting for his answer. "With everyone who used to be bad with me" replied Amaya. He glared back at Dave.

"With me too?"

Amaya flinched looking at Dave's injured gaze as she asked so. Amaya felt confused, seeing the sadness in Dave's eyes made her feel unbearable. Especially when knowing the misfortune experienced by the man.

"Here you go, why talk about it?"

"You're right. Drink, since the drink you ordered was even ignored!"

Amaya nodded. He keeps watching Dave who currently chooses to take calls without leaving him.

"All right!" Amaya turned her face as Dave looked at her with a smile. "What's wrong?"

Amaya shakes. Didn't answer Dave's question. "May, tonight can you accompany me again?"

"I'm sorry, I can't!"

"Huh. Well, I can't force you. At least last night I could sleep well."

Amaya again notices Dave sipping his coffee. He wanted to talk, but chose to stop doing it.

"I just called, he'll be back tomorrow. Usually, there is someone who always accompanies me. You know what, May? I'm exactly like a child under the age of ten. Sleep with my Mom by my side!"

"Why not treat, sir?"

Dave chuckled softly. He said, "I'm tired of seeing psychologists or psychiatrists. Nothing's helped me, May! They all said I had to deal with it by being with the person who made me experience it!" His gaze was so deep to Amaya. "And what they say I think is true. You're the cure, May! But, I realize, you hate me after what I did first!"

Amaya didn't say anything more. He didn't know what to react to. She was afraid that Dave would just tell her to make her feel guilty.

"Don't think about it, May. Now we're back in the office!"

Dave chooses to leave first, leaving Amaya still riveted and staring at Dave's steady back away from him.
