He is, Amaya

He is, Amaya
Visitations Held

Meeting went well, even Dave became so excited. This morning the man was so lethargic and had nightmares.

Amaya doesn't care about anything that's related to Dave. It's quite embarrassing to remember what happened back there when he woke Dave up an hour before the meeting. He wishes he had drowned in the deep ocean and no longer met Dave. However, his hope would certainly not come true.

There was Leo who always gave him support, Fhea with all her stories, and grandmother who always waited for Amaya to contact every day.

Dave took off one of his top shirt buttons. He neatly folded his shirt arms up to his elbows and then got up to his feet.

"What does he want to do?"

Amaya glanced at Dave who was walking over.

Dave instead let Amaya who was tidying up the files after the meeting, instead approached Amaya. He sat in the chair beside her.

"Want me to help you?"

Amaya just shook her head, without looking at Dave at all. Being near Dave feels so crowded. The incident was not lost in his mind.

"Is something difficult? Why is your forehead sweating?" Dave took the AC remote and looked at the room temperature numbers used on the object. "What heat? As usual, the numbers!"

Amaya glanced at Dave with a very slow breath. He's upset Dave is insensitive, if he's the one who makes Amaya cramped and hot.

"Want me to put it down again?"

Amaya shakes. She was finally done with her work and would be straight out of the room. However, Dave held back his hand and looked at her so deeply.

"What's wrong?" ask Amaya to panic. Dave put down the remote without turning his gaze. "Sir!"

Dave smiled sweetly at him, then rubbed the sweat on Amaya's forehead with a tie that since the end of the meeting he had taken off and put in his shirt pocket.

"Thank you!" Amaya is fixated with Dave's thin lips talking. "Because of you, I can sleep for a long time today!" Dave finished the activity and put his tie back in his pocket.

"Sir!" Dave raised his eyebrows, waiting for Amaya to speak again. "Let me wash it!" Dave nodded then handed over his dark gray to Amaya.

"Thank you. Ah, you're the best secretary, May, of all the secretaries I've worked with!" Amaya snorted annoyed. Dave's annoying nature is back.

"I'll go straight home, excuse me!" Amaya doesn't care what Dave does, she just leaves Dave in the meeting room and gets out of there with the files she has to put first in Dave's room.

"I swear, she's so cute!"

Amaya cursed at herself who was fascinated by Dave's kindness, let alone imagining those thin lips opening and closing as perfectly as she spoke.

"Your boyfriend picked you up, May?"

Amaya is shocked, she turns around and finds Dave already sitting on her study couch. The man was drinking a soft drink that was available in the room.

"Sir Dave just checked the file again. Excuse me!" Dave just nodded. However, just as Amaya was about to open the door, Dave said something that made Amaya a little surprised.

"May, if tomorrow I can't sleep again you want to, right, do something like that?" Amaya did not turn around, she held the doorknob firmly. Shame, annoyance, and confusion mixed into one.

"Honestly, what you did was make me sleep better. For years now, I've been sleeping less, May!" I heard a long breath. "May!"

Amaya turned her head and noticed Dave who again downed a drink on his second can. "Sir Dave don't drink too many carbonated drinks. Not good for the hull!"

Dave looked over and smiled so sweetly at her. He nodded while lifting the can. "Oh, is that it, huh?" Amaya nodded. "What was it, May?" dave asked back, his gaze full of demands.

"I'm sorry, sir, I can't. I just reflexed because Mr. Dave was delirious!" reject Amaya firmly.

Dave was disappointed. Highlight those eyes the light began to fade making Amaya feel sad and lost.

"That's comfortable, May. Do I need to be delirious so keep letting you hug?" Amaya bit her lips hard. Dave was too frontal to say it. He then shook his head. "Yes already. Thanks for the soothing hug earlier and ... for the kiss on her cheek!"

Dave's last words with the twinkling of his eyes make Amaya want to disappear from this earth. Without saying anything, Amaya walked out of Dave's study.

"Damn Dave. He must have embarrassed me on purpose!"

"It's okay, right, to stop by my house first?" Amaya looked over and nodded. "Just for a moment. Yuk down!"

"Eh, why am I coming down, sir?" amaya asked confused. He watched Dave take off his seatbelt and looked at him anxiously.

"Do you want me to stay here?"

"Can, Sir?" ask Amaya plain. He didn't want to meet Dave's family at all. Not because I hate them, but because I don't want any other thoughts from them.

Let's say Amaya is overreacting, but isn't that so? A man invited a woman to his house. They will surely think things through.

Dave shaking. "I don't want you here by yourself. You see there ...." Amaya turned to her left side following Dave's index finger. Seeing a middle-aged woman who still looked so beautiful was waiting for them. "my mother would definitely be angry if I let her here! Come on!" continue Dave. He got out first and ran small through the front of the car and opened the door for Amaya.

"Sir, there's no need!" Amaya quickly removed her seatbelt and got off. Dave walked first to the woman who turned out to be the man's mother.

"Aunty Night," said Amaya kindly.

The middle-aged woman nodded and immediately walked over to Amaya. "You are so beautiful! Dave is crazy about you!" he said while holding Amaya's hand. "Cold as this? Yes, we'll talk inside, "take the girl.

Amaya was silent, she didn't know what to say. Especially when staring at Dave asking for help, the man seemed not to see it and passed away to the room without saying anything.

"You're working with Dave?"

"Yes, Auntie!" answer Amaya slowly.

"Why nervous? Oh, yes, your name is Amaya?"

Amaya nodded even though she did not understand how the woman in front of her could know her name. He's gonna ask Dave what Dave's really doing behind his back.

"What a pretty name. You can call me Aunt Rose."

"Yes, Aunt Rose!"

The woman chuckled softly because of Amaya's attitude that looked so awkward. "You should know that Dave is a lot of stories about you. Especially if he can't sleep. She's that ...."

"Come, I'll take you home!" Dave came to them, he cut his mother's words just like that.

Amaya nodded in relief. "habits. My mom also talked to Maya! Why the rush, anyway?"

"Sorry, Auntie, but I have to go home soon. I have important business" lied Amaya.

"Huh. Though Auntie still wants to talk a lot with you!" He patted Amaya's hand slowly and then said, "But next time play here again, yes." Amaya just shut up. Rose then looked at Dave who was standing not far from her. "You'll be careful if you forbid Maya from going home!" threaten Rose to her son.

"It's up to Amaya, Ma!"

Amaya immediately looked at Dave annoyed. The man should have confirmed that he would no longer be coming to his house.

"No, Dave can. So don't hesitate to come here!" said Rose who was so affectionate and Amaya could only nod her head.

"Come on!" Dave reached out his hand and Amaya accepted it. He came home with Dave holding his hand.

"A chance!"

Amaya swore in her heart what Dave was doing right now.

"You must have been uncomfortable with my mama's attitude!" dave said after they were both silent.

Amaya is low. He was lazy to chimed in on Dave's words and was still upset with the man. "Don't think. My mom just loves to make small talk. She doesn't have a daughter just me and my brother."

Amaya looked at Dave who remained focused on driving. "But how does Mr. Dave's mother know my name?"

Dave smiled faintly and said, "Because I have been delirious several times, saying your name and also ... David!"

Amaya scrunched her forehead. "David? Why, Sir? Mr Dave is delirious?"

"Take that incident. Since you moved schools!" Dave stared fixedly at Amaya's eyes which looked a flash of surprise.
