Ever Imagined No, Will Have a Family Like Them?

Amaya was surprised by the greeting of someone behind her. Amaya turned around, the broom in her hand fell down looking at the figure in front of her. "You can see ghosts, May! How can I come here, right?"

Amaya stunned. His slightly open mouth quickly closed and then moaned so as not to see Dave's charming smile.

The woman did not expect that the man before her would actually keep his promise. Amaya realizes that she's been wrong to challenge Dave. He should have known, long ago Dave was a man who couldn't be challenged.

"You didn't welcome me, May! Hah, even though I am tired after yesterday of confusion looking for your home address. Good thing I met a good family, May!"

"Sir Dave has been here since yesterday?" Dave nodded then chose to sit on the terrace of Amaya's house. He wiped his sweat. "Where's Mr Dave's car?" ask Amaya who didn't see Dave's car parked.

It's impossible for Dave to leave without his car. "Taken by Mr. Budi looking for gasoline, his car almost ran out of gas!"

Amaya sighed softly, she took a broom and put it beside the house. He came back again to approach Dave and sat down next to the man.

"I can finally see the beautiful places here!" say Dave with pride.

"Sir Dave is sorry, but I have to go to the hospital in a moment. I couldn't have left my mother in the hospital, even though there was my Dad and Grandma!" Amaya felt guilty, her promise felt heavy for her to do.

Not because I didn't want to be with Dave for long. However, he did not want to be away from his mother and grandmother at the time of his return because of them.

"No problem, May. I can go to the hospital too, I can meet your parents!"

Amaya's forehead creased deeply, she looked at Dave doubtfully. "Sir Dave doesn't mean anything, does he, until he meets my parents?" Amaya panicked. He was afraid that Dave would say something that could have made his parents and grandmother misunderstand him.

Dave chuckles. He then ruffled Amaya's hair. "I just want to say hello to them, get acquainted with them and if I can I'd like to apologize!"

"I'm sorry? About what?"

"I've made her son suffer all this time, May!" Amaya stunned. Didn't expect at all Dave would think about doing it.

Amaya shakes. He forbade Dave to do so. "Why?"

"My parents don't know about what happened to me, sir. So, Mr. Dave doesn't have to say it."

Dave sighed and stood up. "Alright, May. But let me look at your mother, okay?" Amaya nodded. He's not going to forbid Dave from doing it. "Can I have a drink now, May? I thirst. I don't dare drink at the house where I'm staying!"

"Why?"

"The child gives goosebumps. I'm afraid my drink or food is given something!" Amaya chuckles at Dave's overreaction. He then invited Dave to come into his house.

"Sir Dave wait here first. I'll make you drink and prepare some food!" Amaya leaves Dave in the kitchen, before she returns Dave's sweet smile to him.

It didn't take long, Amaya has returned. He brought food and drink to Dave with a tray. "Sorry, Sir. There is no dining room here. We usually eat in the kitchen, but since Mr. Dave's a guest, we'll just eat here!"

"No problem, May. You cooked it yourself?" Amaya nodded. He prepared food for Dave. "It must be really good, May!"

"May Mr. Dave like it."

"Excuse me!"

"But come in!" The man who was Dave's driver came in and sat down with them.

Realizing that the man could have not eaten yet, Amaya offered him. Sure enough, the man had not eaten either. Amaya went back to the kitchen to get her some food.

"I'll get ready to go to the hospital, you eat without hurrying!"

Amaya hesitates about taking Dave to see her mother and grandmother. She was afraid of the reaction of the two of them who could have assumed that Dave was her lover, as her grandmother had always hoped.

Dave nodded. Sure oes.

Amaya sighed softly then stood up to Dave and said with all her heart. "Later on entry, Mr. Dave immediately introduced himself as my boss, yes. If my grandmother says something weird not to listen to let alone respond!"

Dave's forehead creased deeply, but he protested and nodded. Unknowingly Amaya pulls Dave's hand and goes inside. Luckily, there was only his mother who was in a state of remembrance, there was no one else.

"Who is she, Maya?"

Dave approached the lying woman and shook his hand solemnly. "I'm Amaya's coworker, Mom!"

Amaya notices her mother and Dave's interaction. She did not expect her mother would do such a thing to her often. Swiping Dave's head with a big smile.

"What's your name, son?"

"I'm Dave, Mom!"

"Mom thinks you're Amaya's boyfriend!" The middle-aged woman sighed. Watching Dave and Amaya take turns.

"Mother, Amaya told you she doesn't have a boyfriend. He's Maya's boss in the office, come here he says he wants to go for a walk!" Amaya.

"Correct?" ask his mother to Dave.

Dave nodded with a sweet smile. "Why do you say it's a coworker?"

"Already, Mom! Which grandma?" Amaya mediates. He didn't want Dave to be uncomfortable later.

"Grandma's here!"

The three of them looked towards the door. The middle-aged woman entered after greeting. His smile never receded, even he hugged Dave after Dave introduced himself.

"Grandmother please take care of Amaya, Le. She was a spoiled child and now lives far away from her parents. Take care of Amaya and don't make her sad, yeah!" Dave nodded, glancing towards the unsettled looking Amaya.

They are in the Islamic center. Amaya takes Dave on a bridge crossing that she doesn't know what his name is. After saying goodbye to his mother and grandmother, he invited Dave to keep his promise.

"Sir to Grandma's words, I'm sorry. Dave doesn't have to think about it!"

"Why is that, May! Was I wrong to obey your grandmother's request?"

Amaya looked at Dave and sighed softly and looked back at the many visitors who were feeding the fish. "Why would Dave do that? Because promise?"

"No. Because I love you!"

Amaya glanced at Dave who was watching the little kids playing around and feeding the fish. "Do you think I did it wrong, May? If you don't love me anymore like you used to, no problem, May. I will fight now. I'll get you back in love with me!"

Amaya fell silent. He doesn't know what to say. He used to like Dave, even love him even though Dave openly considered him to be non-existent. However, after he chooses to hate her and forgets all the feelings he has, Dave breaks down his defenses. Making his heart broken with his love statement Dave.

"Look, they look so happy, May. Ever imagined no, would have a family like them?"

"It used to be once, but after all my dreams were destroyed by Dad. I never imagined it again!" Dave looked at Amaya in surprise and grabbed Amaya's hand and held her tightly.

"I'll make your dreams come true, May!"

Amaya simply replied to him with a faint smile. "You want to take a walk here before you get to the next place, sir?"
