After the events of that time, Ari seemed to always avoid when they were in one place. Amaya can see Ari's anger at Dave, but she can't do anything either because all the decisions are in Dave's hands.

That afternoon, when Dave invited Amaya to come home, Ari came to them with a fairly thick report. Without saying anything, the man throws it at Dave and falls right at Dave's feet.

Amaya closed her mouth in surprise. He decides to take the report, but Dave forbids it and asks himself to wait in the lobby.

"Good, Sir!"

With terrified steps, Amaya went away from those standing close to each other staring intently.

Amaya can see Dave trying to hold back his anger, smiling and nodding as if to tell Amaya that everything will be fine. Amaya hesitates to get into the elevator by herself.

In the limited and cold room, Amaya did not stop praying so that there would be no fighting between them. Knowing that the quarrel between the two men went viral in the office, made Amaya feel uneasy. Moreover, he heard himself, some employees consider Dave arrogant to kick Ari out of the company.

Amaya immediately got out of the elevator and stepped towards the waiting chair in the lobby. However, he was shocked when his hand was suddenly pulled forcibly towards the toilet by Lani.

"What are you doing? Why are the doors locked?" Amaya attempts to open the door, but Lani manages to forcefully pull it and push it into the sink.

"Honest answer, you told Ari about my relationship with Adam, right?" Lani's hand gripped Amaya's neck tightly until it made her have trouble breathing. His punch on Lani's arm didn't have any reaction at all.

"Now you've made Dave get Ari out of the company, what do you want?" Lani releases her grip and lets Amaya fall while coughing.

Amaya looked up and looked at Lani irritatedly as she rubbed her sore neck, with great difficulty getting herself up, but had to accept a slap from Lani. "That's because you've made my relationship with Ari messy!"

"What do you mean? I don't know anything. You're wrong to think I'm the one who messed up all that you did!" Amaya stared intently at the silent Lani.

She ignored the pain in her cheeks and neck due to Lani's actions and spoke again, "If you think I told Mr. Ari about your relationship with Adam, you're wrong!"

Amaya notices Lani's panicked look, but she tries to calmly listen to Amaya's words. "You're the one who's been made a bet by Mr. Ari and Dave!"

Lani widened in surprise, then grabbed Amaya's hand and gripped her tightly. "Don't come from you!"

"What am I talking about? Mr. Ari already knew from the beginning of your relationship, maybe he actually knew about your relationship with his stepfather." Lani immediately let go of Amaya's hand, her eyeballs spinning unsettled, as if looking for the right reason.

"Maybe that's also the reason Mr. Ari doesn't fight for you too much in his family. He just wants to play with you!" Amaya smiled as Lani looked at her sharply and then chose to leave the toilet without saying anything.

Amaya had absolutely no intention to correct Lani's mistake, but it was the woman's actions that upset him and chose to do so.

Amaya's body felt limp, so that his body did not fall he held the edge of the sink by breathing rough repeatedly and then turned to look at the reflection of his face in the mirror.

Amaya smiled bitterly at the faint red color on her left cheek. Slowly his hand rubbed next to his face. He recalled how Lani's anxiety because of his words, it could be that later the relationship between Lani and Ari deteriorated.

Amaya chose to wash her face to make it look fresher before going out.

His smile expands perfectly after coming out of the toilet and seeing Dave waiting for him on the company porch. He rushed over to Dave and made the man a little surprised.

"What are you doing?" Amaya's forehead creased deeply, she dodged as Dave was about to touch her left cheek.

"We're going home now?" Amaya returned Dave's gaze to him and smiled sweetly while holding Dave's hand. He takes Dave to the parking lot where Mr. Budi is waiting for them.

"You nervous about going to my house, May?" Amaya nodded. Ever since Dave reminded me that later that night he was invited to the man's house, the feeling of anxiety continued to accompany Amaya.

Amaya sighed softly and looked at Dave with a gentle gaze through the reflection of the mirror. "How do I look, my mom?"

"Perfects!"

Amaya smiled faintly as she looked at the enthusiastic Dave to the point of giving him two thumbs up to praise her. He stood up and walked over to Dave. "We're leaving now?"

"Sure!"

They quickly get out of the apartment with Dave holding his hand.

In front of the elevator, Dave tidied up Amaya's haircut by tucking her behind her ear. "The clothes fit perfectly with you! You're getting more beautiful" whispered Dave who managed to make Amaya smile shyly.

"Even though it's too expensive, Mom, for me!"

"That's a cheap price!"

Amaya snorted softly. Maybe Dave said the price of the two million dress was considered cheap, even though for Amaya the clothes she currently wears it can be to buy several pieces of clothing. Not just one.

"Here you go, let's go inside."

"There's more Maya has to do, Bi?" amaya asked Bi Tri after putting the soup on the dinner table.

"It's over, Nope."

Amaya scans the room around him, looking for Dave's whereabouts that are nowhere to be seen. "Bi, why the quiet? Where are those people?" amaya asked in surprise, but when she entered the house she had a short talk with Rose and Dave also before asking permission to help Bi Tri in the kitchen.

"Oh, that was the same mother as Mas Dave again in Mom's room, Non. But I think they're coming here again!"

Amaya nodded. He planned on going to the living room alone, waiting for them there. However, his gaze turned to his left side as Bi Tri suddenly greeted someone.

"Mas Danu."

"Who, Bi?" Amaya's mouth was immediately shut, so shocked to see a man who a few days ago asked her to speak and was now not far from her.

"Non, it's Mas Danu's first son Mom!" Amaya stared at Bi Tri in disbelief and then turned to the man named Danu.

"Hi, May. Didn't think we'd meet here. Though I had planned to find you in the apartment for us to talk," said the man named Danu after Bi Tri pampit to the kitchen.

"You ...."

As if understanding what Amaya was going to say, the man nodded and smiled awkwardly. "Look, May. I want to be honest with you, actually Will is my best friend's name! At that time I had to do it. I'm ...."

"So you lied at the time?" The man hesitated. Amaya was about to charge the question, but seeing Dave and Rose approaching them, she decided to postpone it.

"You know each other?" Rose approached her first son and introduced Amaya as Dave's lover.
