Looks Like What Should?

Amaya is confused by Dave's arrival to the boarding house, let alone Dave coming not alone. Gabriella's coming with him.

"Why is your look like that? You can see ghosts!" Dave jail to Amaya by pinching Amaya's pug nose.

"Sir Dave!" reprimand Amaya is upset. He glanced at Gabriella who looked annoyed. "Gapain come here? There's him too?"

Dave sighed softly. He then drew closer to Amaya, whispering something, "You forgot the same thing I said yesterday?" Kening Amaya frowned at Dave's words. "It turns out you forgot. Never mind, you haven't had breakfast, have you?"

Dave gently pulled Amaya's hand and told her to get into the car. The man asked Gabriella to sit in the back seat. "But, Brother!" gabriella did not accept. He looked at the annoyed Amaya who was already sitting quietly and stomped her feet.

"Huh, what a bummer!" Amaya only noticed Gabriella's behavior without saying anything.

"We're having breakfast, you haven't eaten yet, have you?"

"No, Sir. But, really, Mr. Dave picked me up!" Amaya still does not understand anything that happened today.

She has absolutely no recollection of anything Dave said yesterday other than the compulsion to accept her as a lover. Moreover, his mind was only filled with feelings that started to reappear.

"Sister, we're having breakfast chicken porridge, yuk. At our subscription place," Gabriella's been so excited. However, his spirit was instantly dissipated due to Dave's refusal. "Why, anyway? My brother said he likes chicken porridge!"

"Like does not mean you have to eat it. Besides I told you, if you're meant to come, don't ask for much!" Amaya looked back, she saw how upset Gabriella was because of Dave's words.

"We have breakfast chicken porridge. I haven't eaten that for a long time!"

"Relieve it!" reject Gabriella while rolling her eyes lazy.

"Okay, we're eating chicken porridge." Amaya nodded happily. He chooses to ignore Gabriella's dislike of him, which leads Dave to comply.

"You used my future fiancee, huh?" Gabriella advanced her body and said it right near Amaya's ear.

Amaya turned her head, looked at Gabriella's astonishment and without saying anything Dave was back to defend her. "Without being used to it, I still like him. Who's your fiancee after all?"

"Sister! I told you, we're still going to be fiancee!"

"No!"

"Must!"

"You want me to be your backup, right? You're waiting for Lele so you still want my fiancee?" Dave noticed Gabriella's irritated look on the face from the small rearview mirror in the middle.

"Lele?" amaya asked confused.

Dave nodded. "Lele jumbo. She's Ella's first love and now she's studying abroad."

Amaya nodded her head in understanding then looked back and asked Gabriella. "The name is jumbo catfish?"

Gabriella did not answer and chose to turn her face away. Dave laughed loudly because of Amaya's innocence and also the frustration of his cousin. "It's just a nickname, his name is Levi Suneo."

"Oh! I guess his name is really catfish. Surely his parents really like eating catfish, yes!"

Dave laughed again and managed to make Gabriella angry. "You know nothing but silence. Where's the name of the jumbo catfish?"

"Yes, I know. His name is Levi Suneo, right? Dave sir, tell me!"

"No! His name is Levi Susanto and he's not my first love!" Amaya and Dave remained silent. Not replying to Gabriella's words until the destination.

"You're seriously dating Brother Dave?" gabriella asked after they got out of the car and Dave was parking the car.

Amaya nodded her head, her gaze fixed on the chicken porridge stall that looked crowded. "But what I see is you don't like him!"

"What does it look like?" amaya asked confused. He watched Gabriella who was thinking then shrugged both of her shoulders. He chose to leave Amaya.

The man stopped when an employee came in. "He's why, anyway? So strange!" amaya gumam. He chose to go to the toilet which was always quiet. No one uses it but themselves.

"Maybe working on the same floor as Fhea would be fun. It's not like it's lonely here and all I see is Mr. Dave!" Amaya washed her face. He looked at his face in the mirror. "Does he really like me long ago? If so, why is he a bitch?"

Of course there was no answer that Amaya could get. He was alone there.

Satisfied looking at her face that remained the same, Amaya decided to get out of the toilet. However, he was surprised by the presence of Dave who had been out since when in front of the toilet.

"Why are you washing your face?"

"Just want to, sir!" answer Amaya origin.

"It's not that I pointed your cheeks at the same time, was it?"

Dave squinted his eyes when he saw Amaya just shrugging both of his shoulders and passing away leaving him. "Later tonight Mama invited you to dinner at home!"

Amaya's steps stopped. He turned to look at Dave. "Why? Can't believe?" Amaya shakes. "Mama knows we're dating and invites you to congratulation!"

Dave left Amaya in shock after saying so.

Amaya raised her face when she saw the door to Dave's room open, she hurriedly refocused on the computer screen. Pretend not to know if the man walked towards him with a bag.

"Veasy?" Amaya just nodded without looking at Dave at all. "You certainly didn't forget, did you, by what I said this afternoon!"

"Which one, sir?" ask Amaya. She must look like she can't remember to buy time to meet Rose.

Dave put his bag on Amaya's desk. He took off his tie and just draped it on his shoulder. "Have you forgotten or completely forgotten? Does dinner invitations mean nothing to you?"

Amaya becomes guilty seeing Dave's annoyed gaze at her. He immediately lowered his head, feeling confused mixed with excessive anxiety.

Amaya was terrified if Rose's reaction was as she thought. Rose will not like it anymore after knowing he and his son are in a relationship, especially Amaya feels inferior to her family who is not harmonious and their social status is too much different.

"May!"

"Sir, can I not come today?"

"Why?"

Amaya sighed softly. He turned off his computer and stood up. "Sir, I may have accepted you as a lover, but I never thought it would be acceptable for Mr. Dave's family!"

Both of Dave's eyebrows raised. Staring at the stranger Amaya who looks to be misbehaved. "Our status, sir. Although Aunt Rose is kind and sincere, but not necessarily going to accept with my social status, right? Moreover, Mr. Dave has a prospective fiancee who is equally rich!" Amaya bit her lips.

"Why are you so pessimistic? My mom's not that kind of person, May. If you do, I won't care and will fight for you!"

"For Ella, I told you she's just a cousin. No one can stop me from making a decision!" Amaya is stunned and lets it go when Dave grabs her hand. "So, would you, wouldn't you, accept this dinner invitation?" ask Dave in a softer voice.

Amaya looked at Dave intently, he still hesitated just to give an answer that satisfied Dave. "May!"

"All right, sir, I want to. But ...."

Dave becomes anxious himself with Amaya. "But what, May!"

"But, Mr. Dave, don't stay away from me!"
