GHOST VILLAGE

GHOST VILLAGE
SECTION 23: GETTING LOST

The eyes of friends were fixed on a white object, about twenty meters in front of our line.

"It looks like it's one of the residents here, Im." Gatot.

"Yes right, it's citizens. But why is he standing on the side of the road?" lidya.

"Maybe he's waiting for someone" Cindy said.

"Let's just samperin, who knows we can get information from him" said Fajar.

"Okay, it's you, Jar." replied one of the children.

We walked closer to the man. The closer to him, the more we can see clearly the look on the face of the person. It turned out that he was an old man in white and dressed in black clothes. In his right hand was a celurit. The old man's face looked very friendly and friendly.

"Kulo nuwon, Mbah" said Fajar.

"Yes, Le. Where are you guys going?" ask the old man.

"This, Mbah. We were exploring from school, but we were confused because our map was missing" Fajar replied.

"You're in Junior High 1, right?" ask the Mbah again.

"Yes right, Mbah. We are students of SMPN 01 Karangjati," replied Gatot.

"To my knowledge, the exploration of Junior High School 1 never reached this place," said the old man again.

"Cock, Mbah knows?" Dawn asked.

"Yes, my son used to have a school there before he was brought to death by the flood" he replied.

"Ooo, I'm so sorry, Mbah. We forgot the ancer. So we take the straight path. All we remember is that there will be rice fields, cemeteries, and coffee gardens" said Fajar.

"Well, as I thought. It turns out you guys are so rough. It should be in the fork before death, you turn right to the north instead of straight. This area does not include Karangjati hamlet anymore" replied the old man.

"If you may know, what area is this, Mbah?" ask Lidya.

"Here his name is hamlet Kintari," replied the old man with a sigh.

"Kintir Hamlet?" ask Cindy.

"Yes, right" the old man replied again as he moved the scythe from his right hand to his left.

"What a weird name? doesn't Kintir mean to drift, Mbah?" ask Cindy curious.

"Yes right. That said, this hamlet was named Kintir hamlet because there was once a major flood in this area that washed away all the houses of residents. You guys were through that big teak tree on the side of the road?" ask old man.

"Yes, there was a huge teak tree. Why, Mbah?" manya curious.

"Konon, on that teak tree, a lot of dead bodies got stuck when the flood happened. If people pass by there usually while sending prayers to them" the old man told me in a hoarse voice. We who heard the old father's story became creepy.

"Thank you very much yes, sir for the information that Mbah gave, so we did not get lost too far," said Fajar.

"Either. You should immediately return to the right track so that it is not too late. Your journey is still far away" said the old man kalem.

"Yes, Mbah. Once again we are very grateful to Mbah. We ask permission to leave" Fajar said as he shook hands with the old man.

"Jar, I'm kebelet." Cindy suddenly said.

"Oh, you're just there, Cin" said Fajar.

"Monggo if you want to go to the bathroom, in my house there" said the old man.

"Where is Mbah's house? What's so far away?" ask Dawn.

"That's my house" said the old man, pointing to a house on our left.

We looked together, to the left of our standing position. There is a simple house with a medium size.

"Where, Cin?" ask Dawn.

"Come bye, Jar. I'm so tired" cried Cindy.

The old man with his hospitality invited us all into his house. The living room is quite wide with chairs made of teak wood. Cindy went straight to the bathroom on the right side of the kitchen. Lidya accompanied Cindy, while the others waited in the living room.

"Well, don't you bother?" dawn said to the old man who walked to the kitchen on the left.

"Not bothered" replied the old man.

A minute and two Cindy and Lidya haven't returned from the bathroom. The old man did not return from the kitchen on the left. The atmosphere suddenly became quiet. There were some bats suddenly coming out of the kitchen towards the living room. The children were busy picking up the bats.

"Dav .... Jar ..." I called to Dawn in a low voice.

"What, Im?" ask Dawn.

"You don't think anything's weird, Jar?" my many.

"What do you mean weird?" The dawn asked.

"That's a damn piece, Jar. Why are the bats in this house? And don't you remember the class sister's message?" my spoken.

"Yes, what's the message for upperclassmen, Im?" He asked, maybe he had forgotten.

"According to the upperclassman at Post 1, we can't go into the house of the people," I said in a whisper.

Dawn and Gathoth were surprised by my words. Maybe they just realized they had violated the class sister's message. They spread their eyes around the room, after which they exchanged glances.

"Im, why the ceiling of his house many spider-house huh, like never occupied?" whispered Gatot.

"The seat is also dusty" said Fajar.

The three of us started panicking, my hair started goosebumps.

"Tot, you pick up Cindy and Lidya in the bathroom. Imran and I will see the old man" Dawn commanded.

"okay"

Gatot walked towards the kitchen on the right, while Fajar and I headed towards the kitchen on the left. Stepping a few meters, I saw the old man standing in front of the fireplace that was not burning back to us.

"Bah, don't bother, we already want to say goodbye," said Fajar with a slightly frightened facial expression.

"Don't go home, wait for me to make you a drink" replied the old man, still turning his back to us.

"I'm sorry, Mbah. No. We refuse the grant of Mbah. But we're afraid of the night" I replied.

"Yes, Mbah also apologized. Starting earlier his legs did not light up quickly because the wood was all wet, here was too much water until we all could not breathe.", replied the old man as he turned to us slowly.

Something changed from the old man's physical appearance when he turned his head, his friendly face suddenly became swollen and sagged like a blown balloon. Both of his eyes had also fallen to his cheeks. We were shocked and shouted.

"Toloooooooooooong ...,"

It turned out that our screams coincided with the cries of Cindy and Lidya who were said to have seen skull bones hanging in the bathtub. We ran away from the old man's house, and the old man followed us.
