The Extra Chapter 25

Karina and Johan sat on a long sofa. Ivan was sitting on a single sofa in front of both of them blocked by the table. The two lowered their heads not daring to look at Ivan's face which was staring at them full of intimidation.

Time and again Ivan let out a long sigh after staring at the two. He hasn't said anything since returning from the action room in Doctor Mira's check room.

Ivan was furious especially at his sister. She had asked her sister to be honest with her husband about her illness.

"Sarin!" Call Ivan who makes both menatp Ivan at the same time.

"I-yes, brother." Karina answered nervously feeling guilty while squeezing both her hands. Because Johan felt unbearable to his wife grabbed by the hand clothes of his wife and squeezed it as if giving strength.

"It's not my wife's fault. I'm. Blame me for everything that happened. My wife is innocent." Johan looked up at his brother-in-law. Ivan and Karina stared at Johan in surprise.

"You're wrong, you're both wrong. Equally wrong. What do you think I am? And papa too? And another family? You think you live alone without anyone else!" Ivan was angry about losing control. Making the two back down in fear did not dare to answer loudly like before because they felt guilty.

Even Ivan's index finger followed the accusation in front of Johan who again shrunk his guts.

"I'm sorry brother. Forgive us." Karina said softly still while bowing her head deeper and deeper.

"No. I'm. I'm the one who should be apologizing. As a man and as a head of my family I'm responsible." Sela Johan cut in.

"Yes. You are the one who is wrong. You as a man are less strict. It's only right to give you punishment by separating you from your wife some time ago. Be thankful that your wife is pregnant so that papa stops your punishment if you are sick, I don't know when you will punish you." Ivan exclaimed with breath gasping for breath because he was shouting until he forgot not to take a breath because of his emotions.

"Lake in!" Ivan heard the door knock.

Ivan's assistant walked over to Ivan's seat and whispered something the two had not heard that was completely guilty and digested all of Ivan's words.

" Your brother was right, I'm not a good man to you. Sorry." Karina shook her head holding the fist of her husband's two hands to her.

The door of Ivan's study was opened, the doctor Nathan or the father Karina appeared, followed by Ivan stepping behind his father.

The hug was broken by Johan. Both of them are both staring at the arrival of two people who have almost the same face just different ages.

Without saying anything, the two sat on the sofa with Nathan's doctor sitting on the single sofa that Ivan had occupied earlier and Ivan sitting on the sofa that was still left.

Doctor Nathan hasn't said anything still staring at the two alternately.

Not yet finished Karina spoke, Nathan's doctor raised one hand forbidding Karina to speak asking everyone to be quiet.

Ivan placed the file in front of Johan right in front of Johan sitting. Johan still did not understand what his mother was and then looked at the doctor Nathan and Ivan alternately as if asking what he meant by the red map file. Johan's gaze stopped right at Nathan's doctor whom he guessed to be the one who understood the most and who decided everything.

"Read on!" Tell Doctor Nathan to look at Johan. Johan nodded after a little thought. He grabbed the map and started reading it at the top.

His heart seemed to stop beating when reading his wife's name on the top list.

'Isn't this a medical record?'

'What is this about my wife's illness?'

Inner Johan glanced at his wife and then looked at his father-in-law and alternated with his sister-in-law. Karina looks anxious to see the look on her husband's pale face pias. Karina kept waiting.

Johan continued what he read and saw the details of the explanation contained in the file that is not just one sheet even sheets. And Johan of course did not mind reading it from start to finish because it was all about his wife.

After reading and understanding long enough from all the files of the medical record until maybe not more than half an hour makes Johan suddenly sobbed after finishing reading it and understand everything. He was very sorry and felt guilty.

He failed at being a husband and a man. And almost he failed to become a father so willing to kill his future child who was growing in the womb of his wife.

Doctors Nathan and Ivan finally breathed a sigh of relief after seeing the reaction of Johan's guilt. Karina who did not understand and did not understand the meaning of the file that her husband read because he was not a doctor when he read the file and there are medical sentences that of course Karina does not understand.

"It's all gone." Finally Karina understood a little though not completely, the medical record file was about her illness when she almost died and her husband was not on her side. Karina patted her husband's back giving him comfort.
