Get off the bed

Get off the bed
The extra chapter 4

"Sister!" Call Karina with spirit.

"Sarin." Ivan looked at his brother just emerging from behind.

"My husband is away, brother. Take care of something he said. What's the matter brother here?" Karina asked with a smile. His lips could not be separated from the smile that looked happy that made Ivan hesitant to convey his purpose came.

"Let's go home!" Ivan said directly. The smile on Karina's lips faded. The moment of happiness that had just been felt as if it were just a dream. And the promise that was said to her papa instantly flashed through her mind making Karina speechless in place.

Ivan who noticed the change in his younger brother's expression fell silent. But he did so because he wanted to prevent his father from coercing his sister. So he volunteered to pick up his sister despite her work so much.

After breakfast and table. Her husband came out for a while to take care of something. Karina also drove off just as her husband was leaving. He also promised to go home at least at lunchtime he would have lunch at home with his wife.

Johan wanted to take his wife. For some reason since last night his premonition felt something bad was about to happen. He wanted to delay what he was going to do. But early this morning he got a phone call from the guy. He was forced to leave after breakfast and promised to go home for lunch.

Johan just hoped his bad premonition didn't happen. His wife had no sign of leaving. Looked from her cheerful face this morning. Johan chooses to trust his wife when he promises not to leave her.

"I love you." Whispered Johan on his goodbye to his wife that morning. Even with his meroonful face his wife returned his expression very sweetly making Johan many times fall in love with the widow of his late brother.

"Be careful." Karina said after seeing Johan get into her car. Not forgetting that he waved his hands.

"I'll take care of the dinner table for a while, brother. And take my things first." Said Karina leaving the living room with her brother without refusing.

She had already promised her father after he was allowed to accompany her husband during the death until seven days of his mother-in-law's death. Now she must accept the consequences of wanting to always accompany her husband.

She hoped that her father would not ask her to part with her husband. If she should be asked to leave her husband. Is he ready? She has also promised to always accompany and be with her husband. Her husband only has her. Not like he used to live in an orphanage. And now he has met his biological parents even though his mother is also dead, at least there is still his father and his siblings and half-sisters.

Ivan who did not hear any rebuttal from his younger brother immediately felt guilty. He actually did not have the heart to separate the love couple who loved each other. But he had to do what his father told him. Of his papa people intervened on their own and resorted to violence if his sister refused later.

At least she will if her sister asks for a little longer to be with her husband again. Ivan will try to beg his papa for a little longer to give time to the lovebirds. But now his sister was not arguing at all. And that made Ivan feel very guilty.

"Come brother!" Karina said after returning to arrive with her small bag alone.

"Are you sure?" Ivan asked once more before his sister was sorry.

"No brother." Karina replied with a bitter smile.

Despite feeling pain and tightness in his chest, he still showed his smile to his brother and it again made Ivan look at his brother who of course he knew from his sister's teary eyes so that a little more tears it would fall over. Ivan knew his brother was holding all that back.

"I'll ask you to give me a little longer to be with him if you want." Said Ivan again looking at his sister who lowered her head avoiding his gaze.

"No brother, I've asked Papa too much. To have allowed me to accompany my husband to seven days of my mother-in-law's death was more than enough for me." Karina replied confidently even though her chest felt squeezed by a large stone.

"Come on!" Invite Ivan after a long and heavy sigh. Turn around and leave the mansion that belonged to her late mother-in-law. And when Ivan turned his body, Karina's tears dripped without being able to contain it even though he immediately swiped it did not want to be caught by his brother.

Karina was already feeling happy being allowed to be with her husband a little longer than the agreement her father had given her. For a moment she forgot her promise because she was too happy when she was with her husband. And now he will never regret even having to keep his promise to his father.

The car driven by Ivan himself drove at speed was splitting the streets of the capital towards the large mansion of his family. There is no meaningful conversation inside. Ivan chose to be speechless as well as Karina chose to throw her gaze out the car window staring at the beauty of the capital in addition to the traffic jam.

Both of them are busy with their respective minds while not knowing what is thought in each other's minds. Karina closed her eyes for a moment as her lips continued to recite thoughts and chant prayers for her relationship with her husband.

Not until an hour, the car was parked neatly in the courtyard of the mansion owned by the Mulia family. Ivan went down followed by Karina. After saying the basmalah, Karina went down and followed her sister's footsteps. She tried to think positively that the promise her father wanted was not to separate from her husband.

"Where is papa uncle?" Ivan asked when he saw Ramon passing in the middle room about to do his master's word. Ramon stopped staring for a moment at the two.

"He was in the young master's office. And it just so happened that he was waiting for the young lady inside." Ramon replied kindly looking down politely.

"Thank you uncle." Ivan turned his head to look at his sister who was still smiling gently trying to cover up the pain.

"I'll accompany you to meet papa." Karina did not refuse to just nod in her brother's footsteps. Ramon just stared at the two with a hard-to-interpret look while looking down politely as the two flashed in front of him.

"Just go in, young master!" Ramon interjected as Ivan was about to knock on the door.

Because the first rule of the house must knock on the door if the master is in his study. Because Ramon just came out from inside he was given a message to convey to the young lady directly into his study which means no need to knock on the door again.

Ivan did what Ramon said and immediately opened the door of the study room as if opening the door of hell. Since he knew, dealing with his papa was like dealing with a grim reaper no one dared to refute him.

Doctor Nathan who was doing something with the files on his desk suddenly looked up at Ivan who appeared at the door and followed Karina from behind with a smile that was always engraved on her tiny lips.

"I brought Karina like papa's will." Ivan said after the two entered his study.

"Assalamualaikum pa." Said Karina approaching her papa and took the fingers of her right hand pecking her back with reverence as a dutiful daughter made Ivan mengelos. He knew his sister's mood wasn't all right. Yet he still showed a sense of courtesy and respect for his papa as if he was doing fine.

"Wa'alaikum salutations." Dr. Nathan is starting to say it because Karina always does it when she comes home from work. And don't want Dr. Nathan to get a little used to it. It's just that he's been missing that for a week.

"You get Ivan out, I want to talk to my daughter alone!" Banning Nathan's doctor without further ado makes Ivan protest.

"Papa." Ivan's protest looked at his papa who was also looking at him as if he did not want to be denied. Ivan was silent and turned to look at his brother. Karina simply smiled meaningfully at her brother.

"All right." Ivan finally chose to go and believed his sister would be fine with his papa, instead of their father and daughter, Ivan should not be anxious. He knew his sister would be fine.

"Sit down!" Tell Dr. Nathan to stand up from his chair to sit on the sofa followed by Karina who sits not far from where her father is sitting.
