Get off the bed

Get off the bed
The extra chapter 16

Brucks

"Mas." Karina exclaimed frantically at the sight of Johan's body collapsing on the floor after they let go of her embrace. Although Karina has tried to support her husband's heavy body that looks tyrannical. Karina was still unable to do so because of her small body.

"Mas, wake up... Hicks.." Karina clutched Johan's head with her eyes tightly closed like a sleeping person but clearly saw the look of her face that looked full of relief and satisfaction. It was as if what had been worried all along had evaporated all the restless feelings within him due to the feeling of longing that was piling up within him.

"Oh my God, what is non?" Asked the maid aunt who heard Karina's screams earlier because she was about to go down to the first floor after doing something on the second floor.

"Bi, call the doctor! Now! Hurry along! Mas Johan suddenly fainted and he! Please bi!" Karina exclaimed anxiously subconsciously giving orders to the maid who was older than her that was a little loud due to her panic.

"I-iya non." Aunty answered immediately running to the villa phone.

"I'll also call Mang Diman to help the lady reach out to you." The memory of Karina's aunt was still staring regretfully at the look on her husband's face tormented as long as he was not by her side. And that made Karina really feel so guilty.

"I'm sorry. Excuse me. I should have kept you more at that time. Sorry for being such a bad wife. May God forgive all my mistakes to you." Lirih Karina looked at Johan's face that was still closed as if dead.

"How's Doc doing?" Karina asked after her family doctor examined Johan who still kept her eyes closed as if sleeping.

"He's fine. He just lacks sleep and soy sauce. Moreover, there is absolutely no food intake that he has received well lately." Obviously the doctor smiled kindly at Karina. He paused his words for giving Karina time to digest his words. He also did install an infusion for a substitute for food intake that Johan received.

"She's gonna be okay, isn't she? There are no other serious diseases, right?" Karina asked in an unamused tone of anxiety.

"I've given a temporary infusion to replace food intake. After it runs out later try to eat nutritious foods. It looks like the stomach acid is back up due to irregular eating and sleeping." Obviously that doctor again who was only taken in by Karina understood what the doctor said.

"It looks like before he came here he was treated to see an infusion on his left hand that had not been removed forcibly." Say that doctor again.

Because when he was looking for a pulse to be attached to the infusion he was very difficult because it looks like his hand scars there are some needle puncture marks that have not been infused twice. Maybe today is his umpteenth time.

And he found no serious illness other than lack of food and lack of sleep aka soy sauce. And the stomach acid that has a little history although not severe. And the doctor once saw Johan somewhere but he forgot, maybe the age factor is starting to get closer to head six.

"Thank you doc." Karina smiled politely after hearing the doctor's explanation.

"I'll excuse you then. Looks like he is also a doctor for sure when the infusion runs out later he knows what to do. But if you really need my help, please contact me again." The doctor smiled kindly and politely.

"Good doc. Thank ye. My husband is a former doctor." Karina replied smiling although now her gaze did not shift from her husband who looked weak but her face look relieved and comfortable so that it looks like a sleeping person.

The doctor nodded his head and went from the room and was ushered by the maid aunt who had just quietly listened near the table in Karina's room at Karina's request as well. And also went to take the doctor out.

"Why is it like this? I should be able to take good care of myself as long as I'm not around. I'm sorry mas sorry... I'm not really a good wife." Sesal Karina said softly while holding her husband's hand fingers that were free from infusion but there were traces of infusion-used hospital plaster as well according to Karina herself.

"Sarin!" Johan opened his eyes in surprise and immediately looked around the room and his eyes stopped when he found his wife's face slumbering by his side in the same bed where she was lying.

Instantly a feeling of relief and comfort approached him seeing his wife's face was really real at his side. He had a dream of meeting his wife after some time apart. And that face gradually disappeared and blurred making Johan scream sad and sick feeling that everything he experienced was just a dream.

Until he unconsciously shouted calling his wife's name and immediately opened his eyes shocked and afraid of being left behind by his wife again. But he was again relieved to see his wife's face was on his side in the same bed while holding his fingers asleep as if his sleep had not been sound and not okay.

"You're really stating?"

"You really are in front of my eyes, right?"

"Don't leave me again!"

"I can't be far from you anymore."

"Today I hope it's the last time I'm apart again. I hope we're together after this forever."

Johan smiled at his own words while looking at his wife's face lovingly and unfortunately.

"I love you baby. Love you so much." Said Johan again while gently stroking his wife's face so as not to wake his sleeping wife.

"I love you too." Johan was a little jolted to get his wife's answer that was raspy wet at first he fell asleep feeling comfortable with the appearance of her husband's fingers.

"Sorry to disturb your sleep?" Johan's whispered a sensual and gentle smile near his wife's ears made Karina's face flushed red with embarrassment. They have only met after a long time.

Karina clutched her husband's hand that stuck to her cheek as if reluctant if the fingers were moved. She missed her husband's touch. Even he did not dare to express his longing and desire to meet his wife because his father did not allow.

"I miss you too. I want to see you too." Karina's whisper closed her eyes feeling the soft touch sensation of her husband's fingers moved gently Karina on her cheeks which automatically made Johan feel her heart warm up happily.

Cup

The kiss on Karina's forehead a little long made Karina's heart warmed up again happily. She was grateful to get that gentle touch again from her husband. Though he did not dare to want because he remembered his papa's warning.

I won't let you guys be together.

The voice of her papa again gnashed and suddenly made Karina stunned for a moment to imagine what her husband had done coming here afraid that he would make her angry and maybe they would be forced to separate again.

"Mas."

"Yes?"

"How did you get here? Papa's? Papa will be angry to see you here to see me." Karina's panicked speech made Johan smile happily at his wife's anxiety for her and it made Karina stare strangely at her husband.

"Mas, take me away mas! Let's go! After marriage, I belong to my husband. And I'll go wherever you go. Let's go get me a mas!" Karina said enthusiastically with anxiety and panic. Johan smiled again and grabbed Karina into his arms.

"Not to worry."

"But papa..."

"Papa told me you're here." Johan's words made Karina speechless still digesting her husband's words. He's still weak from panic. Her brain immediately loading when remembering the word her husband mentioned papa. And it wasn't Papa Johan he knew was long dead.

*If it wasn't his papa what does it mean his papa, Doctor Nathan?

Waitaminute! Mas Johan called papa, what it means that his father has blessed them and accepted her husband as his daughter-in-law. And they won't be separated anymore right*?

"I mean papa?" Even so Karina chose to ask again not to misunderstand herself.

"Your dear father, father-in-law. He told me where you were." Johan replied again as if he knew what his wife had heard disbelieving because somehow his father-in-law kept them apart like this.

"Alhamdulillah. Is that right, mas?" Tanya Karina looks happy face staring at Johan enthusiastically.

"Yes dear." Johan replied with a confident nod of his head.

"Alhamdulillah." Karina hugged her husband tightly. It was as if his burden had been lifted all along. Her feelings were turbulent happy to feel happy.
