After the morning prayers, Dilah saw the cynicism of her husband. Yeah, he didn't want to be taken to the doctor today.
"We went to the doctor today, baby," Ali told his wife.
"I'm not sick!" said Dilah ketus.
Ali brought food to the dining table that smelled so bad that it made Dilah nauseous. After removing his entrails he walked limp while covering his nose.
"Dear, we're going to the doctor right now.I'm going to get a license to the San Teresyia Bakti School."
"Hem," He still feels weak.
Ali and Dilah went straight to the nearest hospital to check on Dilah.
"How's my wife doing, Doc?" asked Ali who was very worried.
"There will be someone new in your life" the doctor smiled.
Is he a doctor or a fortune teller? Inner Blade
"I mean Doc?" ask the impatient.
"Congratulations Ma'am, you're positively pregnant" the doctor surprised Ali and Dilah.
"Is Doc, pregnant?" ask Dilah confused.
"Yes, ma'am" the doctor smiled.
After the doctor gives an explanation about the pregnancy. After listening to the doctor's explanation, they finally decided to go home.
"Honey, I'm so happy to know this" Ali kissed his wife on the forehead.
"Yes me too, you want our son a boy or a girl?" He smiled looking at Ali.
"I accept whatever God gives me" Ali said, stroking his flat-topped wife. Then he kissed her.
"Let's hope his face looks like mine" said Dilah hoping.
"It looks like he'll look like me" Ali said to tease his wife.
"Can't!" Didah.
"We'll see later," Ali challenged with a faint smile.
"Alright, I make sure my son will look like me" he said arrogantly.
"Hey, he's my son too." Ali became upset, because his wife said such a thing.
"How about we tell both our parents."
"Good idea," Ali pulled the phone out of his pants pocket.
"Who did we contact first, my parents or your parents?"
"Just give it up,"
Ali thought for a moment, he remembered that his impatient father-in-law was waiting for the presence of grandchildren. So Ali decided to call his wife's parents first.
"Honey, not on the phone but just video call," said Dilah give advice.
Ali nodded and contacted his wife's parents.
"Not usually Ali video call what is it?" muttered Riki wonder.
"Assalamualaikum Pa," Ali's smile greeted her in-laws.
"Wa'alaikum greetings," Riki answered the greetings.
"There's something we want to say" said Ali sadly, acting to surprise her in-laws.
"What's that?" ask Riki who is starting to worry. Because Ali and Dilah look sad.
"Pa, actually." said Dyah hanging his words.
"What actually?" Riki started pounding looking at the sad-looking Dilah. Did they get hurt? Inner Riki.
"Pa, actually.." He still hangs his words.
"What actually? Please don't make me curious!" riki said to his own son.
"I'm pregnant" said Dilah smiling and welcomed Ali's smile as well.
"Are you really pregnant, son?" riki asked to make sure he looked happy. A flash of happiness emerged from his face.
"Yes" He smiled happily.
Riki got up from the sofa and called his wife.
"Yes Ma" said Dilah smiling
"Gee.. Sela.." Dini's words were cut off because her husband cut off her words.
"Congratulations Ali, your hard work is paying off" Riki said, praising his son-in-law. The one who heard that became annoyed.
"Happy for Ali?" ask Dilah ketus.
Riki and Dini smiled looking at Dilah who was pouting. His father always pissed off. His father never changed.
"You want to survive too?" asked Riki smiled faintly.
"Not really,"
"Congratulations Son, now you must not be too tired, yes" Dini reminded her daughter.
"Thank you, dear Mama," He smiled happily.
"Congratulations Darling, my most beautiful daughter," Riki smiled sweetly.
"Yes obviously I'm the most beautiful child Papa who is only me, a girl" said Dilah annoyed and pursed his lips.
"Yes too, hahaha," Riki's laughter makes Dilah hotter.
"Followly, You go to your mother's house tomorrow, all office matters leave it with your husband,"
Ali and Riki's eyes are rounded, there is no way Ali works in the office while he has not completed his mission.
"Ehem, you better take over, Ali will still be a teacher, he has a responsibility to teach his students" said Riki to get a solution.
"Hem yes, it is,"
Ali and Riki breathed a sigh of relief making Dilah and Dini suspicious.
"You're hiding something again, aren't you?" He scrunched his forehead.
"No, no, isn't it Pa?" tanya Ali was nervous.
"Yes, my son, it's assalamualaikum," said Riki greeting, they are in a serious condition if Dilah knows the profession of Ali.
"Wa'alaikum salam" said Ali and Dilah together.
Weirdo? I'm sure papa is hiding something from me, but what is it?
Now it's his turn to call Ali's two parents. Seemed nervous, he was afraid that Arfan still hated him for his past mistakes.
"Don't be afraid, dear" said Ali, holding Dilah's fingers.
"Assalamualaikum" said the greetings of Dilah and Ali.
"Wa'alaikum hail," Aisyah replied with a sweet smile of hers.
"Ma, we want to tell you the good news" Ali smiled.
"What good news?" dini asked who looked curious from the look on her face.
"Call Papa, Ma!" pinta Ali's.
Aisyah called her husband, hearing that the video call was Ali and Dilah, actually she was reluctant to see her daughter-in-law. I don't know why the pain is still there. Aisyah continued to force so that Arfan resigned.
"What news, son?" ask Aisha again.
"My wife is pregnant with Ma" Ali smiled and followed by a smile.
Aisyah and Arfan were surprised, this happy news might make Arfan's heartache gradually disappear.
"Congratulations to both of you," Aisyah held back her happy tears but she couldn't bear it, and finally the tears fell down her cheeks.
"Together, Ma," replied Dilah and Ali simultaneously.
Arfan hugged his wife, now Arfan smiled. With Dilah's pregnancy, it may have been obvious that Ali and Dilah loved each other. Bad thoughts about Dilah he threw away.
"Congratulations to you both" said Arfan coldly but his heart could not be lied to. He was happy to hear this happy news.
Dilah and Ali were surprised by Arfan's words. Although it sounds flat but Arfan like he has thrown away the sacrosanct taste of his heart.
"Together Pa" said Ali and Dilah.
"Take good care of him, he's a blessing that we're looking forward to" Arfan said making Dilah and Ali again surprised.
"Yes Pa, I will take good care of Papa's grandson" said Dilah smiling.
Happiness has come now. The presence of children does bring good luck and unite families.
