Paying Off Mistakes

"Eldo, thank you for bringing me here" said Dilah lirih.

"Together,"

The day has come to the afternoon. Dilah and Eldo decided to go home.

"Are you tired?" asked Eldo who saw Dilah sitting on the floor straightening his legs.

"No," She shook her head.

"No need to lie" Eldo massaged him to reduce his wife's fatigue.

"Eldo, it's not very good that you hold my leg," And avoid the foot of Eldo.

"It's okay, I don't mind." Eldo continued to massage her.

"But you're my husband" for the first time ever, Dilah recognized him as the husband of Eldo. All this time he only considered Eldo an enemy to him.

Eldo sparkled happily. Little by little, he paid off his mistake. By changing to the right path.

Geck! Geck! Geck!

The knocking of the door broke their conversation.

"Wait a minute, honey." Eldo got up and opened the door.

"The Eldo!" Menir came with an annoyed look.

"What's up, Pa?" ask Eldo wonder.

"Go in, Pa!" Eldo invited his father to come in.

"No need," Menir's face looked uneasy making Eldo wonder. What's the matter? Her thought.

"Why didn't you ever tell me your wife is blind now?" tanya Menir.

"Let him hear it. I'm asking you to divorce the woman. I don't want to have a blind daughter-in-law. Wijaya's family must be perfect." upset Menir.

"Why Papa does not accept fate and circumstances. This is a test for our family,"

"This is not a test but a disaster. Papa's shy Eldo has a blind son-in-law like him. Papa's reputation is ruined because of your wife." Menir explained the reason.

"Pa, I don't care about people's judgment or reputation. To me he is the same as the others. Papa shouldn't have heard people's words."

"Eldo, do you want to be a bad boy? You want to make your father ashamed. Papa is ashamed, Eldo." Menir's anger boomed.

"Pa, I always follow what Papa wants. I always obeyed Papa even when I had to. But Papa's request on this one I can't follow."

Menir clenched fist. He left Eldo. He got into his fancy car and disappeared from in front of Eldo. Eldo shook his head to see his father's behavior. Then he went into the house and went back to his wife.

"Honey me." he said when he saw his wife crying.

"Why you?" ask Eldo to panic.

"I heard everything" said Dilah sobbing. "It's true what your father said that you deserve to have a perfect wife. You're handsome and rich." He is still sobbing.

"You want to hurt me saying that? You are the source of happiness for me. If we split up and I find another woman to replace you. Will he be my source of happiness?"

"I didn't know that,"

"Listen to me. No one will separate us. You're mine and I won't let go"

He got up and felt his wand. Then he stood up slowly.

"I love you, Eldo." He hugged Eldo tightly. Tears rolling down her cheeks.

"You love me again?" Eldo could not believe what his wife had just said. I asked and hoped hearing was not problematic.

"I loved you from the beginning until now. There is no one else I love but you. Even though I met a lot of guys who were much better than you. But I don't know why this heart still loves you." He expresses all his love that he once hid.
