Chapter 7 Threats

Tok…

"Cherry! Open door!" 

There was the voice of the most powerful man in the house.

Cherry was intrigued to put the snacks she ate back into the plastic bag and find a place to hide all snacks and soft drinks packaging cans that became her favorite to accompany her watch the drama.

Tok…

"Cherry! Quickly open the door!" 

The man called back in between the knock of his door on Cherry's bedroom door.

"But Ma!" cherry exclaimed from his room.

She hides her plastic bag in her closet.

After that he immediately walked quickly to the door of his room to open the door.

Cherry smiled broadly at her mother who was looking seriously at her. With both hands folded in front of her chest, Arini said,

"Cherry, Papa ordered Max to come to Papa's house tomorrow."

"Huh?! Max?" chirped Cherry who was surprised to hear Max's name.

Arini nodded her head as she said,

"Yes, Max. Try calling him and have him drop by Papa tomorrow."

"W-what? Why would Max have to face Papa?" ask Cherry nervously.

"Have, don't ask too many questions. Tomorrow you two will know why Papa wants Max to meet her," Arini replied firmly and held back her laughter at the expression of her daughter at this time.

"But Ma, Max is not Cherry's boyfriend. We met yesterday as well. Cherry doesn't have her number" said Cherry, who showed her reluctance to invite Max to her home.

Arini turned her body and walked away from the place, saying,

"Mama and Papa don't want to know. If you don't bring it home, your allowance is cut by fifty percent."

Cherry's eyes popped. She soon finds out about Max on all social media. 

"Mmm. First, I have to find her at the cafe. He works there, who knows there is a picture of him in the social media cafe," said Cherry while looking for the name of the cafe that was just visited this afternoon.

Cherry lips curved upwards when looking at the profile of the cafe she was looking for exactly the same as the cafe that was just opened today.

He rubbed his eyes when he saw a picture of Max along with a man and a woman who were pregnant.

"Aren't these pregnant women the cashier? Why are they so close? Are they husband and wife?" cherry asked in a row when he saw some photos of Max along with Miyuki and Lucas.

It was obvious the disappointed face of Cherry, just that she didn't notice it. His admiration and love for Max from the beginning met changed with his frustration because of Max's ignorance of him.

Deeply disappointed mixed with her sense of regret for Max, Cherry ended her search and she said, saying,

"Bodo is very. He wants a wife what a husband is. It has nothing to do with me. Meningan now I nerusin watch the drama again," said Cherry to divert his mind.

Now he turned his attention back to the drama he was watching. Unfortunately though his gaze focused on his laptop screen, he felt uneasy and clueless about the scene he was looking at right now.

He sighed as he closed his laptop and said,

"Just sleep. Than not focused, free."

His tiny body was placed on his bed. Now she was wrapped in a blanket and closed her eyes, trying to visit her beautiful dream world.

Cherry's forehead frowned and her sweat drenched her face and neck at this moment. 

"Don't! Don't come any closer! Hatsy! Hatsy!" yelled Cherry in a frenzy after running for a very long distance.

"Hatsy! Hatsy! Hatsy!"

Cherry sneezed again when the person who was chasing her earlier and now in front of her was getting closer to her.

Cherry's left hand covered her nose and her right hand beat the clown who was getting closer to her using her sling bag.

"Fucking clown! How dare you chase after me and bother me!" yelled Cherry while banging her sling bag on the clown's body.

"You promised to marry me. Let's keep your promise," said the clown while fending off any blows given by Cherry to him.

Cherry was terrified as she shouted, too,

"No!!!"

The byuuuur!

Cherry's mouth moves like the mouth of a fish stranded on land. Even his head moved left and right so he could breathe with relief.

"Cherry! Wake up!"

The thunderous sound of the mama made Cherry wake up instantly. His eyes opened wide to hear the voice of the ruler of the house.

"Mama, why are you screaming at Ma? After all Cherry's ears are still sane, not budek," grumbled Cherry regretfully.

"Why are you screaming yourself? Dream again why to shout the word not like that?" tanya Arini does not want to lose with her daughter.

Cherry remembered her dream. He sighed heavily while tousling his hair and moving his legs and said in his heart,

Why the clown dream again? Why not his handsome prince?

"Ck, the more weird you get. Already, there's a shower hunt. Papa has been waiting at the dinner table," said Arini who stared in wonder at his daughter.

"This is the dipper, do not forget to take it to the bathroom," continued Arini again while putting the dipper he was carrying on Cherry's lap.

Cherry stared at the dipper, a second later she realized that the dipper was used by her mother to bring water from the bathroom and water it.

"Mr….! Why do you always flirt with Cherry when you wake me up?" yelled Cherry did not accept the treatment of her mother.

Arini who was outside Cherry's room chuckled at the screams from the princess.

After a while, Cherry joined her mom and dad at the dinner table to have breakfast together.

"Cher, don't forget to invite Max to come here to see Papa later," said Arini who aims to remind his daughter.

The bread he had just held was now placed back on his plate. Then he said,

"Ma, Mum. What happened to Max? Why do you want to see him? Max is not Cherry's boyfriend. Mama just misunderstood."

Hearing Cherry say that Max is not her boyfriend, Fahmi is angry that seeing a photo taken by his wife clearly shows Max kissing his daughter's cheek. 

"Bring him in front of Papa or your allowance Papa cut eighty percent" Fahmi pointedly threatened.

"What's? Eighty percent? Didn't you say yesterday only fifty percent?" ask Cherry.

"Papa decides everything. And Papa decided to cut eighty percent of your allowance if he didn't bring the man named Max to Papa. Point," Fahmi pointedly said.

Cherry screamed in her heart. He showed his upset face and got out of his chair walking out of the house without saying goodbye and also without touching his breakfast.

"Do I have to ask Max to come home? But he'll definitely laugh at me. Eighty percent is a lot. I won't be able to survive with just twenty percent of my allowance. Huffft..well, Cherry, throw away your embarrassment and talk to Max" Cherry assures herself.

After a few seconds he said, again,

"Then, where can I find him?"
