Chapter 17 The mysterious woman
Max ran out as Cherry shouted his name. Cherry also chased Max because he did not accept that he had said the wrong thing to his mother and father.
"Max! Look out for you!" cherry shouted with breath gasping for Max.
Max stops and laughs to see an exhausted Cherry chasing after him. After that he said,
"Sorry Cher, we're leaving now rather than you're late."
Not Cherry his name if not completely get his wish. Right now his wish is to avenge Max by beating him up.
However, he realizes that he will not be able to catch Max. The power with Max power is much different.
Looks like I have to use a trick in order to catch and reply to her, Cherry said in her heart by staring at the laughing Max.
"Let's get going, let's get going," Cherry said as she walked to Max's car.
"You didn't have Cher's bag?" asked the small running Max following behind him.
Ooops. Why can I forget my bag? The obligatory thing that I should bring to college, Cherry grumbled in her heart.
"Max, get me my bag in the dining chair next to mine," Cherry ordered, shaking her waist in front of Max.
"Emmm.. his style is already like a big boss just playing commands," said Max who was reluctant to obey Cherry's orders.
Still with his current position, Cherry stared intently at Max as she said,
"It's all because of you. I'm tired, tired, tired and listless from chasing you. Now you have to take responsibility."
Max chuckled at the words from Cherry. Then he said,
"Just relax, I'll definitely be in charge of marrying you."
Instantly a red hue was implied on Cherry's face. His heart was pounding loudly hearing Max's words.
"Quick Max, get me my bag. Otherwise, we'll be late" Cherry orders to cover up her nervousness.
"I will obey whatever you want if you agree to my request last night. Hows it? Agreed?" max asked as he walked up to Cherry with a grin on her.
Cherry walked backwards, unfortunately her body was hit by Max's car. Feeling cornered and with no other choice, Cherry said,
"All right, I agree."
Max smiled at Cherry's reply. He pinched Cherry's nose squash, then he said,
"You wait here first. I'll get your bag."
Cherry nodded without saying anything. He stood there waiting for Max, who was running into the house to pick up Cherry's bag.
Cherry immediately snatched her bag when Max was already standing nearby. He passed into Max's car without waiting for Max to open the door for him.
In the car, Max occasionally glanced at Cherry who was engrossed in playing her phone.
"Cher, then go home from college directly to the cafe yes," said Max while focusing on the wheel.
Cherry stopped her activities and turned to look at Max as she said,
"To cafe? Why?"
"You'll be the cashier there. Don't pretend to forget" Max replied without turning to Cherry.
Cherry sighed, she had not expected that it would always be tied to Max. Cherry decided something.
After that Max's car stopped right in front of the Cherry campus. Cherry quickly removed her seatbelt and opened the door.
Max holds Cherry's hand so Cherry stops her movement and turns to Max.
"Cher, don't forget later after going home from college to the cafe," Max said with a sweet smile at him.
"Yes, I'll be there as a cashier. But, I don't want to be your pretend boyfriend" Cherry said firmly and quickly got out of Max's car.
Max smiled as he shook his head looking at Cherry who was acting funny in his opinion. Then he said,
"Cherry. Cherry. We'll see what happens later."
After that Max drove his car to his cafe. There he immediately searched for a blank piece of paper signed by Cherry.
Max's lips curled upwards when he found the paper he was looking for. Soon he wrote something on the paper.
"Cherry.. Cherry. We'll see later, how you can reject me" Max said, chuckling at the paper that was no longer empty.
Moments later, Max sees Cherry in the cafe. At that time, the cafe was in a crowded state. Max helps an overwhelmed bartender make a drink order.
Cherry stared puzzledly in all directions filled with guests. Now he does not know what to do because at the cashier there is Miyuki who is sitting in the cashier chair by rubbing her stomach.
"Cher, please help deliver these drinks according to the one on the captain order," Max exclaimed as he waved his hand at Cherry to get closer to her.
"I'm afraid of Max's misplacedness" Cherry said with a face.
"Cherry, look at this. This is avocado juice, you have to deliver it to table number twelve, according to what is listed here," said Max while pointing to the captain order at the bar table.
"Oh. Ok I'll take him to table twelve. Is this just Max?" ask Cherry who has brought a glass of avocado juice on the tray.
"Yes, you take that one first. This is all for the other table," Max replied as he read the captain order that had just been placed by the waiter at the bar table.
Cherry immediately delivered a glass of avocado juice to table number twelve.
"This is avocado juice. Please drink," said Cherry, smiling sweetly at a woman wearing sunglasses, a black hat and a black mask.
"wait. You're definitely not Max's girlfriend. It's impossible for Max to allow his girlfriend to be waitress here" said the woman, who held Cherry's arm to stop him.
Cherry turned her body around. He looked carefully at the appearance of the mysterious woman. Then he said,
"You who? Why would you ask such a thing?"
The woman let go of Cherry's hand and said,
"none. I just don't like it when there's a flirty girl like you around Max."
Cherry smiled at the woman's words. He was upset, but he wanted to teach the woman a lesson in his own way.
"I have nothing to do with you, so please enjoy the food and drinks you have ordered" Cherry said with a cynical smile.
The mysterious woman smiled from her eyes. Then he said,
"There are many women more beautiful than you. So you don't be so confident."
Cherry saw the appearance of the woman as if humiliating her. Then he chuckled and said,
"Are you the obsessed beggar who wants Max to be yours? Become your fiancee? Being husband? But..how ya, I don't think Max has any feelings for a girl who doesn't have a brain like yours."
