Chapter 28 Chaos at the cafe
After a few minutes Lucas delivered drinks to the couple's table, the waiter delivered food to the table.
The two people who behave like a couple look awkward in Max's eyes even though their attitude is like a couple in general.
"What'sthis? Why are there animals here?!" shouted a visitor who is now the center of attention.
All eyes turned their attention to them. Max, Cherry and Lucas. Soon Max and Lucas come to the table.
The man who had caught Max's attention earlier, now stood with an orange juice glass and lifted as if to show everyone.
"Sorry sir, what is this? Is there anything I can help you with?" ask Max who is already in front of the person's desk.
The man looked at Max in anger and said,
"See this! Why is there an animal in this drink?!"
"Excuse me sir, let me see" said Max as his hand picked up the glass.
Lucas approached Max and saw the juice.
Max and Lucas frowned when they saw a lizard in the juice.
The two of them looked at each other and were astonished. Lucas was about to plead, but Max stopped him by holding his arm when he saw Lucas open his mouth to say something.
"Sorry sir, let me change the drink" Max said politely and smiled.
"What kind of cafe is this, there could be animals in the drink," said the person in a loud voice to seize all the attention in the cafe.
"Sorry sir, we'll replace it. And to my knowledge, there were no animals in this juice. Even I made it myself. So I know exactly, sir," said Max, still very politely smiling at the man.
"Hes, surely you are only defending yourself" said the man, sitting back in his chair.
"I'm sorry sir, but I who delivered it had checked it before bringing it to the table Mr," said Lucas who did not want to drag on his side to blame by the man
"Where do I know if you are right or not. All I know is that the animal named lizard is now in my drink!" exclaim the man with his sewot.
"Sorry Sir. Again, forgive the inconvenience. We will replace it soon" said Max to end their debate.
"Here, what is this?!" the woman who was near the man.
Max and Lucas are leaving the table, now facing the table again.
"What else is it, ma'am?" ask Max politely to the woman.
"See this food! Why is there hair in my soup?" exclaimed the woman while pointing at the soup in front of her using her spoon.
Max gave Lucas a glass of juice. Then he took the bowl of soup belonging to the woman and took the hair in the soup using a spoon.
"Is this your hair, Mom?" max asked, revealing the long hair from the soup.
Instantly the eyes of the woman were wide. Then he said,
"You're accusing me? How can I put my own hair in my food?"
Max smiled at the question of the woman who looked very angry at him. Then he said,
"Sorry Mom, I'm not accusing you. I'm just asking. Obviously this hair is not the hair of our kitchen staff Mom, because all the staff in our kitchen are male. And it just so happened that the one who delivered this food was also a man. They were all lopsided hair, so there was no way they would have had this long hair. That's why I asked Mom."
"That's the same as accusing me!" exclaimed the woman earlier by showing the look of her angry face.
The troubled man stood up from his seat and said,
"Here you go, we better get out of this cafe. Cafe whatan food and drink is not hygienic like this. They blame us."
Suddenly in front of the person there was a glass containing juice as ordered by the man.
Lucas, putting the same juice on the table, said,
"Please drink, we've made a new one."
The woman told the man to sit down and drink the juice.
The man sat back down and drank the juice. Max and Lucas were still standing in front of them.
Suddenly, he spouted the drink. Then he looked at Max and said,
"You want to poison me? This drink is salty!"
Max and Lucas widened their eyes to hear the man.
"No way sir, in the bar there is no salt" Lucas said firmly.
The man looks increasingly upset because Max and Lucas always have a defense.
"You can deliberately take salt from the kitchen and you put it in this drink" said the man with emotion.
Then he pulled the hand of the woman sitting next to him and said,
"We better leave this dilapidated and unqualified cafe!"
Max and Lucas were just gawking and there was no intention of stopping him.
Lucas took a clean spoon at the table and took the juice with a spoon to taste it.
"Ngadi-ngadi tuh people. Where is the salty taste in this juice? The sweetness is just right," said Lucas after feeling the juice.
Max takes over the spoon from Lucas' hand and scoops the juice to taste it.
"really. They seem to be making it up. Strange indeed, how could there be lizards in this juice? Then the hair. There's no way a fat-haired kitchen staff could accidentally drop hair that long? Are they maybe our competitors?" said Max who reviewed all these events.
All pairs of eyes in the cafe are still watching them. They seem to want to know more about what happened.
Max saw the man sitting next to the table watching him.
"Sorry Brother, do you want to try a little drink so that no one thinks if this is just a defense from us," Max told the man.
The man seemed to think. A few seconds later he said,
"Can. I'll taste it."
The man took his straw to drink the juice.
"It feels good, it's fine. And nothing is awkward or salty. I think the person just wanted to drop this cafe," said the man after tasting the juice that became a debate earlier.
Max and Lucas smiled and thanked the man. They make it clear to all visitors if they just mess up.
"Max, Lucas, take a look at this!" yelled Cherry from the direction of the cashier who looked panicked.
