A Little Desire Of Anti - Hero
Arc I - Chapter 76: Time of Silence - 2

In the moment that the spear and sharp claws clashed, a high shrill voice sounded. Xion who was quietly waiting for an opportunity came out from Wess' shadow with a small windstorm forming on his arm.

With sharp eyes, he directed the attack but Tenor's spear immediately spun around. He flipped over completely and blocked the path that Xion was going to use, without having to wait any longer for him to retreat.

Xion knew very well, that if he stayed longer in front then his fate became uncertain. Even Wess [Iron Body] who incidentally maximized the defensive strength remained penetrated, the wound on Wess' body was the proof.

Seeing that his opponent disappeared back, Tenor exhaled for a moment before shortening the distance, wanting to catch up. “Huh! Unworthy creatures like you don't deserve to be here!”

Positioning himself, Tenor lunged but Wess' large body immediately entered the scene, becoming a huge obstacle in his plan.

“They're a lot harder than I thought,’ thought Tenor. Even so he knew that in reality, his conjecture was correct, they were weak. Even the aid team that was once sent could remove this team.

However, Tenor now realized the thing that made this team could not be resolved was their cooperation. Just like a stick stacked until it can be strong enough to be a hitter.

Although it was actually Ci who eliminated the previous favor, but the fact that the Night Eye team had a great level of cooperation was not a lie.

The sound between two loud objects clashing continued to be heard as puncture after stab Tenor gave Wess. Completely focused on the attack, a gap even he showed.

“Wind Claws!” The windstorm that formed in Xion's hands grew stronger, sweeping away what was in front of him with three powerful waves. As if he could tear anything in front of him.

Not losing his mind, Tenor swung his spear wide, until it became a fan shape. With the impact that occurred between himself and Wess, his body could be pushed back. Makes him get a little more push to be able to get away from the distance of the attack.

However, the Night Eye team's terrifying cooperation was not over yet. The shadow shook, becoming the figure of Dian who had not shown himself directly. Just ambush and then leave, and now Tenor's got a turn.

“Silence Silhouette ..”

Black stains started to form on Dian's dagger. It grew and pressed against the dagger itself, as if it was a representation of the dark weapon of the angel of death.

The ringing of the alarm bell on Tenor's head rang, telling him that if he received this attack the injuries incurred were not minimal. Even so, he wore a calm expression even though he was in an unsafe condition.

Bending his body further down, Tenor moved his spear fulcrum to the closest spot to its lower end. “Heavy Rotation!”

Tenor's body began to spin rapidly, the spear in his hand now acting like a bat. Even so, that speed could not exceed Dian's attack speed. However ....

Tang!

A high voice sounded. The dagger that had scratched the end of Tenor's neck was lifted, making the path of the attack change completely and never made it back to its target.

Although Tenor's speed was much slower, but he managed to fend off the attack. Even if the distance of the attack with him was only a few centimeters adrift.

Even so, this is not finished. With her attack having succeeded Tenor Tangkis, Dian had been exposed into a dangerous corner. After all, he knew that in his fighting style, it was as if it had clearly been underlined that this kind of thing should not happen.

But more than that. Tenor knew that this might be his chance to dismantle the solid Night Eye teamwork.

“Fly Up!”

However, this was not a one-on-one fight. Seeing that their comrades are in a dangerous position, Xion and Wess try to help him.

“Do you guys think I'll let you guys interrupt?!” Saying so, the spear in Tenor's hand value absorbed more mana.

“Great Impact!” Tenor's spear hit Xion hard, making him take a hit back and stop after being restrained by some crushed trees.

Ignoring Xion, Tenor's eyes focused on the awah Dian who had a more vulnerable condition. “Eugary Spearmanships: 3rd Style Pursuit!”

As if it had its own eyes, the spear continued to slide, trying to reach Dian who was about to disappear. Unfortunately, it has failed.

The spear shot out quickly, successfully reaching the Beast-kin. If Wess alone who incidentally has the highest defense in the Night Eye team must suffer heavy injuries, then the fate of Dian is unquestionable.

Dian's ‘reny’ body was hit hard, making the spear easily manage to pierce through her chest.

Tenor who followed the pace of his spear was reunited with the weapon. “Eugary Spearmanships: 1st Style Lunge!”

As if it had a hand, the spear strengthened its nesting place comfortably on the opponent's chest. As the spear swung, Dian's body followed her movements.

Dian was hit in a place that was difficult to feel, Tenor's weapon which was originally a spear as if turned into a big hammer with the addition of —Dian— load at the end. With the burden continuously charged, Dian's body began to lose its shape as it only became a lump of flesh.

Wess's attack facing Tenor directly became even more blunt, perhaps having hope that their comrade was still alive. Even with the possibility of being thinner than a strand of hair.

However, as the lump of flesh that was Dian's body became more and more crushed, that hope was dashed. With the awareness they wanted to resist, anger rose, boiling as fast as lightning, making them unable to think clearly.

More than that. With the loss of one of the people who filled the role in their team, the slick cooperation shown by the Night Eye team during this time soon collapsed.

The table has been completely turned upside down.

Following the Tenor's direction, the remaining warriors continued to persist, even beginning to have an advantage. Meanwhile, the Night Eye team's condition was getting miserable.

Wess who had forced his way through had fallen into a miserable state, suppressed by the Tenor completely. Yuzu and Zee are unable to act as efficiently as before.

“T-no, everything ...,” Xion said weakly, his movements became too stiff after he was hit right at the vital point.

Ci who was observing all of this from a distance hesitated a little. Whether he would expose himself to help the Night Eye Team, or not, would just watch this.

After all his mission is to eliminate the person this team is looking for after he determines whether that person is dangerous or not, not to keep this team from harm.

“I think I'll help them. Without this team I would not know if the person being sought was the young man this team was investigating,” Ci woke up, about to move from his position, but in the next moment the movement was restrained.

THE PING!

When suddenly a strange, buzzing sound came out of the black gold-colored pin before it shattered into pieces, and it stopped Tenor's movements.
