A Little Desire Of Anti - Hero
Arc I - Chapter 43: The Little Ruckus

The entire room was silent, after Lily held Rion in her arms no one made a sound after that.

Recovering from her astonishment at Lily's behavior, Rion replied softly, “Ya, at least as an interesting thing to observe.”

The atmosphere now became awkward after Rion said so, Lily's crisp laughter echoed as she faced Rion's impassive retort.

“Hahahaha .. get caught, yes?”

Rion did not care about this incident, rising from his position he tried to escape and moved to the open window. Observing the city and its contents from this window, Rion shook his head. Taking out a piece of paper, she began to write down the things that she would execute in her plan even though this matter was actually to forget Lily's previous behavior.

‘Ya .. however, Lily's behavior like that is reasonable .. it seems ...,’ thinks Rion is calming down.

“Exit from the fortress I have done, and now I am on my way to the Sylius Continent. After this then ..”

Shaking his head lightly, Rion's hand began to dance writing down the outline of the plan he was going to do. Although he would not forget this kind of thing, but he still needed to make a grip on what he was going to do going forward.

Although there may be some changes. However, the change he can adapt and make sure not to stray too far in his plans.

Finished with the plan he had implemented, the paper burned leaving no trace. What was inside had Rion remembered entirely.

As the night wore on, Rion chose to sleep on the bench he had sat on before.

Lily's previously tightly shut eyes were now wide open without showing the slightest hint of drowsiness. Stretching his body, he began to step towards the window, intending to get out of this place for a while.

However, Rion who woke up from hearing the sound of footsteps stared at him. “You want to get out?”

Surprised, Lily looked back and saw Rion acting as usual. Not feeling worried or anxious in the expression he showed on his face.

“Hah ... yes, so it is,” Lily said helplessly.

Turning his face away, Rion closed his eyes again. “If so I will rest back.”

After all, Rion knew that what Lily was going to do had to do with the interesting thing he had said not too long ago. Understanding something, he reminded, “Don't forget to return before morning, I'm sure you also want to avoid suspicion in any form.”

“Ya, yes, besides you don't want to come?” lily asked, however if Rion had realized her intentions. “This will really be an interesting spectacle over the next few days,”.

Seeing Lily's openness, Rion tried to make sure. “It's about the thing you mentioned earlier isn't it?”

“Ya,” Nudge Lily Light.

Rion thought for a moment, the condition of his own body was back in shape. Although only resting for a few hours but this is more than enough to restore stamina, when compared to the conditions during the laboratory this is not a significant problem.

However, Rion shook his head. Although he was also a little curious about Lily's plan all along, but it was definitely not a simple thing.

‘Better I see the thing Lily wants to do when the preparation of her overall plan has been completed.’

Lily shrugged her shoulders, unconcerned at Rion's response before jumping out of the inn window. Although this room is on the floor toga is quite high, but does not make the slightest sense of tension on him.

A shadow leaped from one roof to another, the darkness of the night did not make him any trouble at all. As fast as lightning, Lily kept darting and was soon able to get out of Dee city.

The scenery that originally contained towering high buildings and lined houses is now replaced by shady trees along the road.

As dawn came, Dee City began to awaken from its slumber. Daily activities began to move back as usual, whether it was traders who prepared their respective stores or patrol guards who would change shifts.

Rion is now with Lily after eating the food provided by the inn. Although Lily went out last night, but it is not visible from her appearance that still looks fresh and bright.

Rion himself finds out that if Lily spends a lot of time on the things she does, she's even back by the time the sun is almost up.

Seeing something that caught his attention, Rion stopped his steps. Observing the ins and outs of a large building and many people who are in the downtown area, a place that in fact is a collection of important elements for the city.

“That's a church,” Lily said to Rion who looked confused, though not seen in her behavior but her eyes could tell from the look in Rion's eyes.

“But still I feel a little strange. On the books in the library there is absolutely no mention of anything related to the church or belief,” replied Rion while continuing the steps.

“That's because it's considered taboo,” Lily replied.

“All books on churches and creeds are kept in the Cathedral Church in the Holy Kingdom of Celestia. This shouldn't be too surprising, right? Given the demi-human nation itself has a temple in each village,” he explained.

“Like that? Yeah, but I don't remember much. Since childhood for no apparent reason I have been forbidden to approach the temple.”

“This kind of surprises me .. but, you definitely know who your own people believe in, right?”

Rion nodded. “Goddess Oriana .. that too if I don't remember wrong.”

Hearing Rion's unconvinced reply at all, Lily shook her head. “You are this .. just think so. So it was the same with those humans, the name of the Goddess that they believed themselves to be if not mistaken ... Goddess Carea.”

Rion glanced at Lily beside him, as Lily uttered the name of Goddess Carea her tone slightly changed. No, not only her tone but Lily's aura also changed, although only for a moment but it did not escape her observation.

“What's Lily?”

“Hmm? Do I look like I have a problem?”

However, before Rion could answer this question the attention of the two was distracted by a commotion that occurred in one corner of the city.

Seen someone with slightly tattered clothes begging a city guard, and this of course makes people around them noisy with each other.

Without much thought, Rion focused her hearing on the conversation between them.

“Are you not wrong?”

“No! Absolutely not! It wasn't the beast-kin but the bandits!” answer the man hysterically.

Seeing that this man was not lying, the security guard nodded. “Can you come with me for a moment? I'll make a report to the superiors and you're needed as a witness.”

“Yes! I'll be happy to help you.”

The officer brought the man. Although Rion could see from the expression of that guard who thought that this was not a trivial matter that would be completed as soon as the report was made.

Rion glanced at Lily beside him, a thought coming to him. However, he chose not to discuss it and continued to move on to get to know the city better.
