Without knowing the sharing of power that had started to move, Rion continued on without much thought of anything else outside of his plan. Of course, the girl named Lily who was still at home following him was excluded.
After two weeks they didn't experience much resistance from Reutania she was worried, just like Lily said. Rion started to slightly loosen the tension he felt.
However, the Reutania movement itself suddenly had a huge change with no apparent cause. If it was to address the problem he had made, Rion felt that their response time was too late. Making that percentage of possibilities because he's so small.
Even Lily herself also felt confused about Reutania's unnatural behavior. However, the fact that Reutania started looking for Rion was inevitable.
Thus, they began to take the road outside the highway to avoid the surveillance of Reutania.
“Roarrr!” With a roar, a tiger ambushed them.
However, that savage but unfortunate beast had chosen the wrong prey today. With a light blow, Rion had made the animal bounce off before falling into critical condition.
Ever since his battle with Overflow, Rion had become increasingly aware of the importance of control on his strength. Moreover, after fighting them he also started to re-train his battle techniques in order to compensate for his magic power.
Although from outside the power of Rion looks balanced between magic and battle techniques even though they are equally strong. However, he knew that it was not true. He can also be said to be lucky because the level of strength of the opponent is still lower than him, but if it was the opposite then he was sure that his weakness would be obvious.
Another thing that made him start to balance his strength was the memory of Lech's so powerful defensive power, that it felt sickening to the opponent. Thus, Rion got another way to be able to minimize as many injuries as possible that can arise during battle.
Although his body had high regenerative abilities and his fighting style focused more on evasion. However, Rion knew that it would not be of much use in front of an opponent who had a significant difference in strength. More or less, it was the factor that led him to begin training the embodiment of the nature of endurance.
Rion's target is when he is able to perform the embodiment of nature without realizing it. Furthermore, he wanted to be able to control several embodiments of nature simultaneously.
As the sun begins to slip from the sky, Rion and Lily decide to stop. Not for what, but actually .. they are lost ....
This was not because their navigational abilities were poor, but which stream they used more often as a pointer was getting chaotic as they got deeper into the forest. Just like a compass placed in a magnetic field.
“Grrr!” And their calmness was immediately piqued as a growling sound rang out.
“You'll handle this instead?” lily said without even seeing where the sound was coming from.
“I go first to look for groceries. In that case, I'll see you later tonight,” With that, Lily has left this place.
“Lily, you just want to avoid the fight, don't you?”
Alan however, the voice seemed to not reach Lily who pretended not to hear anything. Choose to continue in his steps. While Rion had to hold back the breath that was about to come out of his mouth, he took out the sword from its sheath.
Crashing forward, a monster was seen before Rion's eyes. With a wolf-like appearance, this monster had four eyes, a horn on its head, two tails, and a pair of small wings on its back that would not even be able to lift this monster flying.
Ghost Wolf's. That was the kind of monster according to the book that Rion had read during his time in the library. This was no secret, but the average strength of this monster was somewhat frightening by being at B± Rank, equivalent to a Gold Level level for humans.
The Ghost Wolf moved quickly as the monster pointed its front legs at Rion. However, Rion immediately repelled it.
Ghost Wolf moved again quickly, he used the shadow of the trees to cover himself. It is also the reason for its name, this monster can always appear suddenly like a ghost, utilizing its speed.
The Ghost Wolf came back crashing fiercely, if this was someone else it might not have had the time to dodge this monster attack. However, Rion was able to see it and immediately pointed his sword at the monster's neck.
Ghost Wolf tried to dodge Rion's attack, but with his speed and position in the air, it was difficult.
Waves of deafening sounds rang out, attacking Rion in advance as well as condensing the Ghost Wolf from the position of danger it had experienced earlier.
‘Monster is pretty smart.’
“Awuuu!” Ghost Wolf howled, summoning the other members of the herd after feeling unable to subdue Rion alone.
The rustling sound of a bush rang out, revealing dozens of other Ghost Wolf tails that were heading towards Rion's current location.
Rion shook his head, this was the reason why the ranking of these monsters was still a polemic. A Ghost Wolf might be able to be dealt with after a while, but having met a member of his herd can be more troublesome than a true A Rank monster. They will continue to arrive until their prey loses.
“Magic: Lightning Chains!” Lightning chains materialized, attempting to bind these monsters. Some Ghost Wolf managed to escape, but Rion directly lunged at those who managed to get caught, slashing the neck of this monster to the point of being lifeless.
Attacking sound waves coming from all directions, Rion tried to dodge them, but there were still some that hit his body. Checking the part of his body that was hit, he saw that it did not make any significant injuries.
Seeing their attacks uselessly made the Ghost Wolf grow even crazier, making them attack Rion blindly.
A bunch of sound waves were aimed at Rion, several lightning strikes were seen striking towards him coming from the horns on the monster's head. However, he saw that not all Ghost Wolf could carry out this attack.
Rion fended off the attack which he thought was dangerous and let some attacks which the body could withstand hit him. Taking out some magic to restrain the movements of those monsters, he immediately slashed the monster's neck with battle techniques or wind magic, making his killing frequency increase by leaps and bounds.
Rion continued to launch attacks and kill these monsters, making the purplish black blood fill the view, the fishy smell immediately filled his kiss. However, the number of Ghost Wolf did not decrease, instead it felt increasingly more.
“Slashdot!” Blood spilled back around. Taking a deep breath, Rion immediately moved from his position.
The howls continued to echo, issuing sound wave attacks that continued to chase after him.
“Dews of Mist ...”
Rion disappeared from sight with the illusion he was using, although he thought this would not last long against the keen senses of Ghost Wolf. However, he also made use of magic that could erase any trace of its smell before leaving this place.
He was aware that the fight would only continue to drag on without much result. As Rion continued to run away from the area, he was suddenly pulled by something.
“You can survive well, yes,” Glancing to the source of the sound, looks Lily who now holds her.
Rion breathed a sigh of relief, looking around he found that this was a cave that could also mask its smell. Rion looked at Lily with a displeased look, if Lily did not run away, perhaps, no, surely the previous fight would have been easier.
