A Little Desire Of Anti - Hero
Arc I - Chapter 27: The Pursuit - 2

Shua Shua Shua Shua

Attack after attack that continues to come raining Rion increasingly difficult to guess the direction of the trajectory.

As the knight captain of —Marco— began to give direction orders to the Night Hunt group, Rion's more or less position could be said to be balanced with the group slowly becoming less profitable.

Rion now felt that the attacks coming at him were getting harder to avoid.

As Rion prepares to evade according to the direction Marco gave the Night Hunt team, then the real attack will come from the opposite direction that the knight captain uttered through a special order that the knight captain was unwittingly given to that team.

And vice versa, when Rion has prepared to avoid being away from all directions. The attack immediately came according to the direction of the knight captain who was eyeing from his blind spot.

Easily, the direction Marco gave the Night Hunt team was clear to break Rion's focus.

Moreover, the occasional dart attack still rained down at a random tempo along with the dagger glint attack that was clearly eyeing Rion. Enemies who have an advantage in the field of speed make the intensity of the attack is very high, plus the surprising battle techniques released by the opponent make the condition more runny.

Evading from the attack directed at him, Rion retreated far enough to take a momentary breath. However, a dagger immediately flashed towards him making him have to move again.

Rion was annoyed, this situation did not give him the slightest space, as well..Every thing became more and more troublesome!

'Shit! It's getting harder. I need to find a way to get away from them and get out of here.'

However, even though this thought has been in his head, but the way to make it happen in real terms is difficult considering the current condition.

Rion ran as fast as lightning while trying to get away, breaking away from these pursuers. However, the constant attacks came like endless rain, making things even more difficult and strange.

Once struck by a regret in his heart, if only he was in the best condition, Rion was sure that he would be able to escape from the entanglement of his enemy easily.

However, at this time Rion is far from the conditions that can be said to be prime. Besides piling up fatigue after the fight in the fort earlier was still not recovered at all. Also because his own magic attack consumed an amount of mana that was more terrifying than his normal amount.

Back again to the beginning, it was all because his own control was still very bad in terms of magic. After all, mastery of magic must be slow with the practices that accompany it, and that is one of the things that makes Rion's mastery still very bad.

Indeed, roughly the power released by Rion's magic is very strong because of the amount of mana consumed by the magic. However, if it was in the current condition and because he was unable to manage the amount of mana he spent, things became even more difficult for him.

"Everyone is focusing on attack! Block the road he's about to cross, increase the frequency of your attacks!" marco shouted loudly when he saw that Rion could still survive very tenacious.

Facing an increasingly intense attack, Rion tried to avoid as much as possible. However, it was impossible for him to be able to dodge all the incoming attacks.

Rion's breathing was hunting, of which his was now left a quarter of his maximum. Make the focus of his view and mind decrease.

'I should have brought Demand's spear, ' said Rion.

Rion's head was now filled with a feeling called regret.

If only he was carrying a weapon such as a spear belonging to Demand maybe he could injure some attackers. That way, the burden he had to bear on the attacks that continued to be directed at him would most likely decrease as he could injure those pursuers.

However, the regret that attacked him only lasted for a moment. Correcting his unrighteous thoughts, Rion's eyes now radiated a conviction. All because he knew better than anyone, that regret would not lead him to any result.

Rion, he had long regretted letting himself prepare to be spoiled for his mother as a child, because all of that made him weak. If only he practiced the magic that his mother taught him so hard, perhaps he could help his mother when her home village was attacked by those humans.

Rion, has regretted complaining and blames everything that happened because of circumstances and fate. Let him be dragged into the middle of nowhere, make himself arrested and end up as a slave who is used as experimental material.

For the whole time, Rion was sorry. He had let his mother die a terrible death before his eyes.if, if only he could do something, whatever it was he might be able to keep his beloved mother alive next to him now.

However, all of these things were mere wishful thinking to him. It was like a distant dream and could not be achieved again, so all Rion had made a promise to himself when he made the decision to repay those people.

That Rion would not allow himself to feel the bitterness of regret anymore. Even if it was just a little bit of regret that perched in his heart, he wouldn't let it go!

Rion's sharp eyes were filled with all that determination, he swept a glance towards the pursuers who were ensnaring him.

'Bother!' thought Rion was honest. What should he worry about again? If he can't handle this anymore, then so be it. However, if he did not take out everything he could then it would not allow that to happen!

Rion smiled faintly, a smile that contained the feelings that flooded him now. At least he had fought as much as he could based on his ability, if he could not run and finally fell into the hands of the enemy whether it was the end of his life then it was fine.

"Damn it!" his screams, however, were only one thing that filled his mind. 'I don't want to feel sorry!'

After Rion shouted this, a large amount of mana began to gather in both of his hands. Together with the massive amount of mana he absorbed, a tinge of light began to materialize in his hand, the attacks the pursuers unleashed came to a halt.

A blaze was created, enveloping Rion's right hand in surprise. However, not only did it get there, the flame continued to rise and raise the temperature around it causing what was nearby to start burning, whatever it was.

Meanwhile, the droplets of water began to collect forming a snaking whip in Rion's left hand. However, it was not that that shocked the people, but rather spark after spark of blue lightning that was seen passing from one grain of water to another.

Rion had combined the fire element with the wind element into one in his right hand, alongside the wind element synergy that would strengthen the fire element power. Whereas in his left hand he had combined the water element with the lightning element, utilizing the flexibility of the water element he juxtaposed with the effects of the lightning element which could provide temporary paralysis.

Rion began to prepare to burn down the entire supply of mana he had. If this works then this is a victory for him, if this fails then .. he will not let his struggle fail!

"Feel this!"
