A Little Desire Of Anti - Hero

A Little Desire Of Anti - Hero
Arc I - Chapter 60: Their Concerns - 1

Moments earlier, away from the fight between Rion and the Overflow group, Huge and his team attempted to return to Dee City as quickly as possible.

Although they felt a somewhat strange atmosphere upon entering the city. But that was ignored. Rather than thinking about the reason why the city's atmosphere felt different, conveying the information they got from the operation is much more important now.

With the streets in the city deserted due to the curfew imposed, the time the team spent on the streets was significantly cut. All because they did not need to penetrate the usual crowd without causing panic.

Entering Ditch's office, Huge further speeds up his pace. Without much delay he opened the door. "Captain!"

Huge looked inside trying to find Ditch who settled here more often, but this time he did not manage to find Ditch anywhere.

Reversing his body, he faced his team members who looked still somewhat confused.

Waiting for them to catch their breath, Huge ordered, "You guys stay here and watch these bandits. I'll find Captain Ditch, if he comes back please find me with a voice signal."

Looking at the bandits who are now prisoners with face coverings re-imposed, Huge muttered, "The information obtained this time is too risky for outsiders to know."

"But Chairman, what's really going on?" asked Ernest who did not understand the reason why Huge looked so panicked. "Why did after removing the headgear of these bandits do you look so worried?"

"That'll be explained later and you stay on alert here! Understand?!"

The other members including Ernest nodded. After seeing this, Huge immediately ran, leaving this office while asking others he met on the street. I hope they know where Ditch is now.

On the other hand, Ditch, the man Huge is looking for, is in one of the buildings that is now suffering great destruction.

The building which originally had four floors has now become a memory. With two floors covered that were destroyed resulting in several civilians injured due to dizziness of the building, while the bottom two floors also suffered a lot of damage due to being engulfed by the red champion.

Still clueless as to what had happened earlier, Ditch muttered, "Hmm ... What exactly happened just a moment before?"

Looking at the other information, this was the place hired by Overflow, one of the few mercenary groups that Reutania Kingdom hired for the sake of the upcoming war.

In addition, Ditch is convinced that this is the result of a former fight that took place.

"Has a survivor found?" Staring at his assistant, Ditch asked a question hoping to get more information.

The assistant nodded. "So far, several survivors have been found. But their condition was too bad and most were on the verge of life and death. Even so we have someone who is better than anyone. The victim's name is Pirlo, a vice chairman of Overflow who has passed through a critical period.even so he is still unconscious so we can not dig up information."

Hearing the direct report that his assistant read Ditch sighed and started scratching the back of his head. An attitude that he should not show with his office.

But as if this burden wasn't enough, a group of guards ran towards Ditch after learning he was here and not in the office. One of them stepped forward, saluted him and reported the purpose of their arrival.

"Captain, we would like to report that there was a battle taking place in a suburb. We also know that the battle was centered in the mansion rented by the Overflow group, but we were unable to interrupt the battle and could only see how it went."

"Take me to that place!" Staring at his assistant he asked, "You can handle the situation here right?"

"Just calm down Captain, I'll handle the situation in this place."

Ditch nodded then stepped forward towards the place in question with this group. However, a familiar voice that suddenly sounded from behind made his steps come to a halt.

"Captain Ditch! Please wait a minute!"

Making sure that he didn't hear wrong, Ditch looked back and saw Huge heading towards him.

"Captain!" greet Huge once again with a salute after being right in front of Ditch.

"Is there a problem Huge? You're not like you used to be."

"Captain's here for a minute, there's something I want to talk about," lowered his voice he continued, "And it's a little secret."

Ditch looked at the group that called first and Huge, clearly feeling that the problem that these two brought was urgent. It made him a bit confused to listen to the request of who he had first seen.

However, seeing Huge's never-like behavior even when he lost all his teammates, Ditch's heart was already leaning towards him.

"Alright I'll hear from you first, Huge, but it won't be long. Now I'm also dealing with the chaos that seems to concern the Overflow group."

"Then you should hear this information first Captain. This information pertains to the Overflow mercenary group." Huge and Ditch look at each other for a moment, before Ditch chooses to follow Huge.

The two of them ran quickly towards Ditch's office, to explain what Huge meant as a secret Furthermore the information that this was related to Overflow was what intrigued Ditch, as it is remembered, the operation run by the Case Bag team was not related to the group.

Heading into the office without much of a hitch, the two of them immediately walked into the office. Ditch looked towards Huge and found his teammates were also here and in good shape with no significant injuries. Explain that the expression of worry that Huge now has comes from the information to be conveyed.

"So what exactly are you worried about, Huge? You said it had something to do with Overflow, now tell me what it is?"

"Look at these bandits Captain," Instead of answering directly, Huge instead pointed to the bandits lying on the floor.

Ditch approached, as he unfolded the bandits' face coverings and looked at their faces, he instantly knew the reason why Huge was worried.

Looking towards Huge, Ditch put on a complicated expression. "So this is what you mean ...."

Huge nodded, while the others were still confused over what the two meant.

Ernest raised his hand, as if asking permission to ask, "What did you guys really mean? Considering these bandits killed my family, I think I deserve to know that."

Ditch let out a long sigh before nodding weakly. Ernest has a right to know this. "They are some members of the Overflow group."
