Hospital

The ambulance passed quickly, the sirens roared in the darkness of the night, and all Rani wanted was to chase after her. But she has trouble breaking away from Miko and Amanda, who are diligently holding onto her.

”Gue wants to be with Ghevin,” isak Rani. ”Please take me to him.”

”Iya,” said Miko understood. ”We're also going to the hospital now.”

”Get my car aja,” bargain Amanda. She hands the car keys to Miko, letting Miko drive, while she herself accompanies Rani in the back seat.

Funny as well. Rani hates Amanda so much, and even thinks of her as an enemy, but see what happens now? Rani cries in Amanda's arms while Amanda tries to comfort her.

”G-how about Ghevin b-really dead?” isak Rani's. ”Why can't g-gue see him again?”

”Ghevin won't die,” says Amanda, gently. ”We both know how strong he is. So he's not gonna die. You have to believe that, Ran.”

Yeah, Amanda's right. Ghevin is very strong. But will he be strong enough to keep his life?

"Lord, please save Ghevin," Rani prayed in her heart. "Please let him stay alive."

After a long prayer, Rani calmed down a little. He even stopped crying. But her tears broke again when she met Melly at the hospital. Ghevin is being examined at the Emergency Installation while Tristan, Melly, and several other Ghevin gang members wait in front of him.

Rani hugs Melly, and cries together. Earlier in the factory they were both hysterical so that only now had time to talk.

”Sorry, Mell,” isak Rani. ”M-sorry-I. I've made Ghevin go bad. If it wasn't for me, Ghevin wouldn't be here right now. He must be fine.”

”Not wrong lo kok,” reply Melly. ”Again, Ghevin would have been happy to have succeeded in diving in lo.”

”Gue don't want to be sampled,” sergeant Rani. ”Do I get saved if finally even Ghevin has to go to the hospital?”

”Lo should be grateful because you are okay, Ran, and instead of just saying so,” Melly reprimanded. ”Kalo Ghevin to hear, he will definitely be angry with lo.”

Soon thereafter Aunt Widia—ibunda Ghevin—coming. His face was filled with tears, while he walked with quick steps, accompanied by Om Williams—ayah Ghevin. As soon as she saw her parents, Melly immediately ran over and hugged them tightly.

Melly then briefly recounts the chronology of events that befell Ghevin to his parents. Then together they went into the Emergency Installation. Maybe Ghevin's done getting checked.

Rani sits between Miko and Amanda, waiting for news of Ghevin. Tristan sat across from Amanda, several times she exchanged anxious looks with Amanda. Rani knows what Tristan is worried about is not Ghevin, but Melly. Seeing Melly hysterical like that must have made Tristan shocked.

Perhaps what really worries Ghevin is the rest of his gang. Some of them were sitting in the same row of chairs as Rani, next to Miko, who was in the same row,

some of them still stand. Ghevin was not only the chairman they respected, but also their friend, although he was often fierce with them.

All who were seated immediately jumped to their feet as soon as Melly exited the Emergency Installation. They're cloaking Melly like ants in sugar.

”Ghevin is sober,” said Melly.

Instantly a sigh of relief was heard from everywhere. In fact, because of Rani's leg, her body was so limp. Maybe Rani will fall if Amanda doesn't rush to hold it.

"Keep, what did the doctor say?" rani asked, wanting to know.

”She fainted from being hit by a piece of wood." explained Melly. "Moreover, his body was also full of wounds. But the wound was treated, and now he's being moved to the hospital room. Doctor said, with a few days rest, Ghevin will recover.”

"Thank you, Lord," Rani said in her heart. "Thank you for saving Ghevin."
