Youthful Time Volunteers 2
Goodbye to Ghevin

Rani recalls her photo with Ghevin in Fantasy World which was used as her phone wallpaper. He will not remove it, but will replace the wallpaper of his phone with other photos.

"Rani," call Ghevin suddenly. "About your job as my spy, are you still running it?"

Rani's eyes grew bigger. "Lo know about that?"

"Actually I've known since the day you asked Miko to be your partner," I Ghevin. "Miko told me the same thing."

One important lesson for Rani: never entrust secrets to Miko Raffael. Rani also felt like a fool, all this time she thought Ghevin did not know.

"It's unbelievable to Miko."

"I didn't agree at first" Ghevin said. "But Miko convinced me to give you a chance. Afraid you why-why, I nugasin thugs my acquaintance to help ngejakain lo."

Ghevin's acquaintance thugs? Rani remembered the man with the bushy mustache. Is he what Ghevin meant as a thug of his acquaintance?

"You mean, the moustache fathers who often roam around Garuda High School?" guess Rani.

Ghevin nodded. "But he has not been able to come to Garuda High School since he was forced to rush Martin's gang members to lure Martin away from you, so you can check his laptop" he said.

It turns out that it wasn't a coincidence at all. The man with the thick mustache had already planned it. Out of nowhere he knows Rani wants to check Martin's laptop, but maybe he can see Rani's curiosity about the contents of Martin's laptop from the radiance of Rani's face. Martin is obviously unlikely to come to the aid of his gang members who are being busted by carrying around his laptop, so will definitely leave the laptop with Rani.

"Gue doesn't know if you still intend to carry out your duties as a spy, but if you do, you stop it," said Ghevin. "Gue's very grateful that you want to help my gang, but that's enough."

Is Rani's job as a Ghevin spy coming to an end? Actually Rani does not mind doing her job. Because he doesn't need to meet Ghevin, and as usual just pass on the information through Miko. But since Ghevin told him to stop, he didn't want to.

"Gue will stop" promised Rani.

After that silence, each of them did not know what he wanted to talk about anymore. Or in Rani's case, actually she knows, but there's too much to talk about to the point that she can't sort it out.

Fearing that Ghevin still had a lot of business, and did not want to hinder him, Rani decided to go home.

"Gue is home now, Ghev," said Rani, standing up.

Ghevin followed Rani. They both walked towards the gate. These are the moments leading up to a real farewell with Ghevin. How Rani hoped that right now she could stop time, so that the sad moment did not need to happen.

Before getting on the bike, Rani turns around, confronting Ghevin. He stared at Ghevin for as long as possible, trying to peck Ghevin's face into his memory - a face that has always filled his days, even down to his dreams.

"Lord, how much your servant loves Your creature."

Has Rani ever been in Ghevin's heart? Will Rani hear the answer, if she asks now? Whatever the answer is, Rani thinks she'll be ready.

"Ghev, even if it's only one percent, do you ever like me?"

Ghevin. "More than one percent, Ran," he said, exceeded Rani's expectations. "But even so, from the beginning I tried to eliminate it."

"That's enough, too" murmured Rani. "Thank you, Ghev. Not only because you've been honest with me, but also because it's made me very happy for three and a half years."

Ghevin doesn't know how to respond to Rani's thanks, which he may not feel he deserves. Though Rani was really grateful, because since Ghevin was present in his life, he seemed to get an injection of spirit for whatever was done.

Rani turned back, got on the bike. When he was about to start his engine, he only realized his hands were shaking.

"Time for farewell."

Rani bit her lower lip, desperately holding back the cry. He didn't want the last time Ghevin saw him, his face was full of tears. So he turned to Ghevin, and forced a smile. The next words that came out of his mouth were spoken with a broken heart.

"Goodbye, Ghev."

Ghevin was flabbergasted, as if it was only real to him that they were going their separate ways. Ghevin was about to say something, but Rani was racing her bike away. From the rearview mirror, Rani sees Ghevin still standing in his place, while staring at him.

Around the corner, Rani turns, then stops by the side of the road. Because he could no longer hold back his tears, he immediately cried.
