Rani hurried to follow Martin. In the middle of the road before reaching Cafe 69, they had crossed paths with the moustached man. Just now Rani thought her tumben didn't show up, but it turns out she showed up too. But that doesn't mean Rani expects her presence. It's just that, he's been considered as a complement to Garuda High School by Rani. Some kind of mascot, so. So if there is no him, according to Rani it feels even strange.
Rani and Martin both ordered iced cappuccino. They waited for their order to arrive in silence. After being angry with Martin, now Rani even feel ashamed of herself. He shouldn't have to talk about his feelings. Martin may even think of her as an unstable girl.
Their order arrives, and Rani hastily sips her iced cappuccino. Not because he was thirsty, but to divert his shame. Unfortunately, Martin still observes himself closely. So sipping iced cappuccino also does not bring any influence. Rani even almost choked because of drinking so hurriedly.
Still observing Rani, Martin said, "Lo there must be a love problem."
"Why do you think that?" tugut Rani's.
"Toy for girls," said Martin, emphasizing the word "girl" in a tone that clearly disparages women, "what else is messed around besides the problem of love?"
"Not all girls are like that."
"But you are, right?"
Martin is right. But Rani won't admit it. After all, he found it strange to talk about the matter of love with Martin. But apparently Martin did not want to end the topic.
"Do you fight with your guy?" guess Martin.
"Gue doesn't have a guy yet" I'm Rani.
"You know, do you not like the same thing?" guess Martin again.
"To be more precise, maybe he wants to reverse the same ex-girl," muttered Rani unconsciously.
"Ah" said Martin. "So you're heartbroken?"
"Gue wasn't heartbroken!" sentak Rani's.
"Yet, maybe. But amit-amit. Don't you think I'm really heartbroken."
"Gue was astonished" said Martin. "Why the hell do women really sulk the problem? Though if the guy does not like, yes, just stay. Find the other one. Like there's only one in the world."
"It's not that easy" Rani said. "It's a matter of the heart. Where can you play moving so?"
"It can be" said Martin. "Usually, if I like a girl, I'll give her a week to see if she has the same feelings as me. If there isn't, then I'll find another girl."
"Sunday?" rani's back is shocked. "Isn't that too fast? Feelings of liking can be nurtured with time."
"Waste of time" Martin snorted.
Obviously, Martin is not the type of guy who will fight for his love. But maybe it's because he hasn't found the girl he really loves, which makes him willing to flip over even if only to be admired by his heart.
"So there's no answer from Bastian?" ask Martin when he makes a sound. "We've given him a few days. Tell him that this is very important, and we want him to work with us. Yesterday he always wanted to, so why did he hesitate this time?"
"Bastian? Who is Bastian?"
"Just talk him on, and try tomorrow to have an answer" Martin said. "Don't forget tomorrow you'll tell me again." After that, he hung up the phone.
Rani immediately pretended to be more interested in iced cappuccino than the conversation she had just heard. Despite being curious about Bastian's identity, Rani is clearly unlikely to ask Martin. He had to prevent any form of suspicion from Martin.
"On the subject of the bustle," said Martin suddenly, "lupain meningan. Obviously, he just made you fucked up. Look at it, you get angry at the same people you haven't known for long."
"Did Martin have a right to tell me to ghevin? I've been angry at him, but it wouldn't have happened if he hadn't provoked me."
Martin took a sip of his iced cappuccino up the toilet, pulled out his wallet, then threw a piece of money at the table. Rani looked at the money in wonder.
"What do you make money?" ask Rani wonder. "I want to buy you."
"Because you're again heartbroken—"
"I'm not heartbroken!"
"—so I'm the one who bought lo," said Martin, regardless of Rani's objections. "Take it as a consolation."
"Tomorrow I'll come again for the lo deal" said Rani, using it to see Martin again.
"Whatever."
Martin doesn't mind? Though not until an hour ago, he was still not happy when Rani brought up the matter of treaties. Is it possible that talking about love makes him more understanding?
But according to Rani it is impossible. More likely because Martin considers himself to be heartbroken, so Martin uses that way to pity him.
"Ah, fuck. I don't want to be pitied by him."
Martin stood up, and without saying goodbye to Rani, he immediately walked out of the cafe. Rani does not follow him because she still wants to spend the iced cappuccino that she just drank half.
