Now the bench next to Ghevin is empty. The gang member who was sitting there had just left. Determined not to allow Ghevin and Amanda to continue making out, Rani quickly got up from her bench and moved onto the bench.
"Hi, Ghev," Rani said as she patted Ghevin on the shoulder, causing Ghevin to turn to her and turn to Amanda. "How do you not play?"
"I'm playing soon" Ghevin said. "First change first."
"Lo must be good at playing?" rani Goda.
"Not that I'm arrogant, but he's good at it," Ghevin said. "Will not play?"
"Gue can't" I'm Rani. "Lo ajarin dong."
Before Ghevin could respond to Rani, Amanda poked him, returning Ghevin's attention to him. Rani glared at him, while the one glared at him unconscious and was busy showing Ghevin his phone.
"Diana replied to my WhatsApp" Amanda said.
"True to my guess," commented Ghevin. "Keep he said what?"
"She said she had to come" Amanda said. "I still don't believe it. I thought he forgot about me."
"Well, there's no way he forgot about you" Ghevin said. "You guys have been together a long time."
"But all this time we've really never had any contact-rebellion again."
This time Rani called Ghevin, so again Ghevin turned his back on Amanda. "Masain Amanda!"
"Are you here often?" ask Rani.
"Lumayan," said Ghevin briefly.
"Kalo Melly, has he ever been here?" ask Rani again.
Ghevin almost shook his head, but then thought about it for a while, only after that said, "Once. It was Miko who brought him here."
Rani will ask another question again when it comes to Amanda's interruption.
"What do I have to do, Ghev?" ask Amanda while fondling her phone. "That's the address, to send an invitation?"
"The house I know, but the exact address I don't remember."
"Then you ask her the address."
Amanda's preoccupation with her cellphone is used by Rani to capture Ghevin's attention from Amanda. But only a few seconds Rani spoke, Amanda had already taken it back. It went on and on until countless times Ghevin had to go back and forth between Rani and Amanda. Maybe Ghevin was relieved when it finally came his turn to play. At least he so no need to fear his neck muscles sprained because of the fussiness of the two girls.
After Ghevin's death, Rani did not glance at the occupants of the bench which was only one bench next to him. He was more interested in observing Ghevin playing. Pose when holding the stick and his face is so concentrated on seeing the ball, for Rani looks very sexy. Unfortunately, Rani's preoccupation with admiring Ghevin's sexiness is interrupted by Amanda's annoying voice.
"Are you here with Miko?" amanda asked, obviously she just wanted to make small talk.
Rani just nodded. He wouldn't take out a single word for Amanda. Let Amanda know that Rani is lazy to talk to her. For a while Amanda was silent. But it seems like Rani's shock has no effect on her at all, as Amanda starts raiding again.
"Oh yeah, Ran," said Amanda. "I'm having a birthday two weeks later, and I'm not having a party. You're coming, yeah."
Rani doesn't care if Amanda's birthday is two weeks away. Because Rani's own birthday is a week earlier than Amanda's, even though she's not having a party. Rani doesn't even want them to be born in the same month. It's just a week different.
"What did Amanda say? She took me to her birthday party? Uh, amit-amit. I won't come. Anyway I won't—"
"Ghevin is coming too." Amanda continued.
"Okay, I'll definitely come!"
How could Rani not come if Ghevin came? Very smart Amanda, bring Ghevin so Rani will come.
"Later to the invitation I will be with Melly, yes."
Again Rani just nodded. Agreeing to come to Amanda's birthday party feels like agreeing to make peace with her, even though she doesn't want to make peace. But don't blame him for being forced to agree.
