Jack's Business (Part 4)

"Please Jack, let me go."

"No....!"

"How can I be with you when I've slept with another man?"

"I don't care! I promise I'll never bring up what you've done with Philip. I promise I will never be blindly jealous and act rashly before making a decision. I promise I'll close all the past that's going on in between and start a new life again." Jack said as he tightened his embrace at Riani's waist.

"But my heart is no longer for you, Jack."

Jack let go of his embrace and then he turned Riani's body. Staring at the woman he loved so deeply. Riani instantly threw her gaze in the other direction.

"I'll make you fall in love with me again. I will fight to win your heart."

Riani looked at Jack. "Why don't you stop chasing me< Jack? Can't we be friends and raise our children together? Maybe we are not fit to live together as a husband and wife."

Jack shakes. "I've known a lot of women in my life. I've even felt that Cecilia is everything. But it's not the same when I'm with you you're the power in my life." Jack held onto Riani's cheek with both hands. "Look at me, Ri. I will be devastated when you are truly lost in my life. My pride and selfishness have made me like this. Let me go back to your life."

The views of the two meet. Riani felt worried in her heart. However, he could not remove Jack from his heart. There was a Reo among them. But when she remembered everything Jack had done to her, Riani again wanted to close the door of her heart.

"Reo want some milk?" riani asked as she gently patted her son's shoulder.

"Milk..!" Reo repeated the words from Riani.

"Let me make it." Jack goes to the kitchen to make Reo milk.

When she returned, Reo immediately took her milk bottle and slept while her hand one pulled on Riani's nightgown. The woman knew that Reo wanted to sleep next to her.

1 hour later, Reo fell asleep again. Riani closed her eyes because she was also sleepy. When he almost reached dreamland, Riani felt that Jack slept behind him while wrapping his hands around Riani's waist, Jack slept on his ex-wife's back.

"Good night, baby." whispered Jack before closing his eyes.

In the morning, the sun does not shine. The sky was a little cloudy because of the snow falling. Riani who woke up a little late, rushed to the kitchen but it turns out Leo and James are already in the kitchen with Jack and breakfast is already available there.

"Reo's still asleep?" ask Jack.

"Yes. He probably woke up around 9 or 10 in the morning." Riani answered and repaired the jacket because the air was very cold.

"It looks like there's a guest. I'm the one who opened it." Leo said when he heard the doorbell.

Shortly after, Leo returned to the kitchen. "Mrs, there's a guest for you."

"Who?"

"Prince Philip."

Riani surprised. He glanced at Jack for a moment. The man's face looked very jealous but he tried to smile. "Let's meet the prince, Ri."

Riani immediately went to the living room. He smiled at Philip. "Hi....., did I bother visiting this early?" ask Philip.

"No....!" Riani approached and shook hands with Philip while splashing.

"I was looking for you in the apartment but you weren't there. Clark said you might be here."

"Clark knows I'm here?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Riani was a little surprised because she did not say goodbye to Clark.

Philip sat down beside Riani. "I missed you. Does Jack mind if I'm here? Or do we need to go out for coffee?"

"Can. But I want to see my son for a second, okay? Maybe in about 30 minutes I'll change his clothes while giving him breakfast after that we can get out."

"I'll wait patiently."

Riani immediately went to the bedroom because she heard that Reo was crying.

After that Leo came to bring a warm tea for Philip and Jack sat down with Philip.

"You know I'm chasing Riani."

"Why? Riani is a free woman. He's here with you just because your son is Reo."

Philip smiled. "Let's fight together."

Jack felt his heart ache when he saw Riani leaving with Philip. But he tried to suppress his angry feelings. He will fight to get Riani back to his side.

In a nightclub, sat 3 handsome men who looked established but unfortunately they were just three without any girl among them.

"So, do you think Jack has finally realized the meaning of Riani in his heart?" ask the man in the white shirt who is none other than Sam, Jack's assistant.

"Yes. He even humbly begged me to let him come back with Riani. When I said that I wouldn't let go of Riani, I thought she would punch me like she used to. He just said that he would compete with me to get Riani." replied the man wearing the black jacket who was none other than Philip.

The other man finally laughed. He's Clark, Jack's half-brother. "Jack finally realized that he could not live without Riani. It turns out that our strategy to get Philip to approach Riani could finally make Jack aware. If I were to get close to Riani, Jack would have hit me right away. But if Philip then Jack would definitely feel that his rival is not a random person."

Philip sipped the drink in his hand. "I wish Jack was reluctant to compete with a prince and allow Riani to continue with me."

It doesn't matter if the royal party will ban me because of her status as a second child widow. Riani is special.

Reo was asleep. Riani was in the living room watching TV and enjoying a cup of warm chocolate. Cassie and Jack were out but a few minutes ago Cassie just called and said they were close.

Cassie and Jack arrive shortly after.

"Mommy, we have happy news" Cassie said, looking at Jack with a happy face.

"What's wrong?"

Cassie opens her phone and shows a photo that Arma sent to Cassie's number.

At first, Riani did not understand much. But he then looked up while reading the contents of the letter. "Arma has asked for a letter to move out of school? Where does Arma want to go to school?"

Cassie smiled happily. "Arma is moving to England, mommy. Daddy managed to persuade him and opa Arya and Oma Sulastri will also be coming for a while here. Before Christmas they'll be here."
