Jack's House (Part 2)

As they passed through the main door of the house, Riani was more and more astonished to see the living room which had a luxurious and large sofa that he had only seen in movies. There are photos of their wedding, then there are photos of Jack with Arma and Riani, there are also photos of Jack, Riani and Cassie while they vacation in Bali. Now they climb a circular staircase that looks elegant with shades of gold-black.

"A. I'll just get off, Jack." Riani feels bad.

"You're so light, baby."

Riani was even more astonished to see the contents of the second floor. There is a home theater with the biggest TV Riani has ever seen. Until finally they entered a large room with a super luxurious room interior. If Riani wants to compare the size of this room with her house, it feels almost the same.

Jack slowly lowered Riani on the bed. Riani shifted her body so that she could lean on the head of the bed. He sat down even though Jack asked him to sleep.

"Rest, baby. I'm going to the company for a while because there's an important guest from Germany. After that we'll talk. But do not force yourself to think too far. Remember, your doctor says you can't think too much." Jack peaked Riani's head. "If you need anything, just press this red button." Jack showed me a red button next to the nightstand. " The servants will come. In 3 hours I'll be back." then Jack goes. Leaving Riani inside that enormous room. The bed was so big and luxurious. Not yet Riani thought far, the door was knocked, then Cassie entered with a sweet smile.

"Mommy.....!" he immediately ran over and embraced Riani lovingly.

"Babys....!" Riani rubbed Cassie's head.

"I was so shocked when Daddy said that mommy had an accident. Moreover, mommy had to be treated for 3 weeks there and daddy did not allow me to visit mommy." Cassie let go of her embrace, she looked at Riani with a face that still looked sad. Riani smiled even though her heart was actually agitated.

"Mommy's fine, baby. Oh yeah, you're used to living here?"

"This is a real daddy's house. There is also a daddy's house in London. The word daddy is a legacy from Oma. But daddy rarely goes there."

"If that house is in the village?"

"You're this....." Hanna rattles Cassie's hair and she opens the medicine from her container, and gives it to Riani. He took a glass that was already available on the nightstand, pouring water from a round-shaped chaotic container that was also there.

Hanna finished her job. "Mrs, 1 more hour will eat huh? Mr Jack asked me to ask what does Madam want to eat?" ask Hanna.

"I.....!" Riani's confused. It was never served like this.

"Suster Hanna also lived in Indonesia. So know Indonesian food." said Cassie made Riani surprised.

"My ex-husband is a doctor in Indonesia. But because her parents wanted a native Indonesian woman, coupled with pressure from her family, I chose to return to England. We've been separated for 5 years." Sister Hanna's face looked sad. "What do you want Indonesian cuisine?"

"Disposition...." Riani suddenly recalled that type of food.

"I also like rendang. I'll check if there's any material in the refrigerator. Otherwise, I ask the driver to buy it in an Asian store." Hanna left the room.

"Suster Hanna is a very nice person. She works in the homes of people who need the services of a nurse. Not in the hospital. His son is 7 years old. Name's Dee. Play here often."

Riani just nodded.

"Mommy sleeps, huh? I'm going out so mommy can rest. Later tonight, I'm here again." Cassie kissed Riani's cheek before leaving the room.

Cassie's loving nature keeps Riani entertained. She can channel her affection as a mother to the girl.

Riani recalls how Jack once lived in her house. Riani's room was narrow, let alone her bathroom which only had one in the back. How Jack could sleep in his rather hard bed, very far away from the bed that Riani now lives in.

Slowly, Riani's eyes began to feel heavy. Probably also due to the influence of drugs. He fell asleep with his mind still asking.

When Riani wakes up, Jack is already in her room. The man had even changed his clothes with a knee-length t-shirt and jeans.

"Darling, are you awake?" Jack helped Riani to sit down.

"I'm going to the toilet."

Jack took out a home-made sandal with the head in the shape of a cartoon mini mouse and placed it right on Riani's feet. Then Riani lowered her legs and immediately put on the sandals. Jack immediately wrapped his hands around his wife's waist and helped her into the bathroom.

Riani is shocked to see Jack's bathroom. There is a large bathtub, shower, a special closet that stores toiletries, then a super sophisticated toilet.

Jack explained how to use the toilet. Everything is available in button form. Riani had seen this kind of closet while watching Chanel about hotels on TV.

By the time they came out of the bathroom, Hanna was already in the room. He arranged the food on the balcony of the room. "The food is ready, sir."

"Thank you, Hanna."

Hanna looked down respectfully then immediately exited the room.

Jack led Riani to step onto the balcony of the room. There is a round table that contains food. There are vegetables, rice and of course rendang.

Riani and Jack ate together without much noise.

Riani's longing for Indonesian food can be treated at this time even though the taste of the rendangnya is not like made by her mother.

"I'm glad you ate so much." Jack said after Riani finished eating.

"I miss Indonesian food."

Jack stroked Riani's face. "You can ask Hanna to make Indonesian food."

Riani. Then he looked at Jack who was looking at him.

"Why do you have to hide all this from Jack? Are you afraid I'll be greedy with your wealth?"

Jack shakes. "It's not like that, baby."

"Then why? I don't want to live here, Jack. I want to go back to your house in the village. I feel happy there. Happy with that simple house. Happy with my status as the wife of an ordinary worker. Happy ride in your pick up car." Riani said word by word with great emphasis. "Who are you, Jack? I'm afraid I'm close to you right now."

"Darling.....!" Jack grabs Riani's hand but is brushed off by her. "Tell me the truth, Jack. If there's anything else you're hiding, then I'll go back to Surabaya. I don't want to be in this secretive relationship."

Jack was surprised to hear Riani's words.
