Denying Heart

Today the group continues its journey. They visited some places. Riani was trying to enjoy her journey even though the heart of women was upset. Jack's face always looms over him and makes his eyes always dizzy looking for Jack whenever they have a stopover somewhere.

And sure enough, when they stopped by Joger's shop, Cassie came to greet Riani.

"Hallo Miss Riani!"

"Hi Cassie!" Riani was immediately happy to see the little girl. "You alone?"

"With Daddy. But Daddy is choosing sandals. Uhuh!" Cassie pointed at her papa in the sandal. Jack looked very handsome with knee-length jeans, sneakers and a black singlet shirt wrapped around his body. He wears a hat and sunglasses.

God, why is my heart shaking looking at Jack? Riani's heart screams.

Jack looked. When he saw Riani was with his son, he immediately approached.

"Riani?" Sapa Jack's. He looks very happy.

Jack opened his sunglasses. "Have you bought some souvenirs?" ask Jack.

Riani raised the shopping bag in her hand. "I bought some for my son and my parents."

Riani's friends began to notice Riani who was engrossed in telling stories with a bule.

"She's sexy. Like whose movie star?" ask Dessy.

"really. Oh my God, look at the way that guy looks at her. Does she like Riana?" Dessy was enthusiastic. He had wanted to see his best friend on a date again.

"Riani, what time will your party be finished?" ask Jack

"Normally in the afternoon at 5 we were back at the hotel. After that free show."

"Then, at half-six, we're leaving huh? Cassie wants dinner at Jimbaran. He said there were many cafes on the beach. And he wants to take you." Jack looked at his daughter. Cassie nodded as she looked at Riani with a face full of pleading.

Riani did not have the heart to reject him. He thinks it doesn't matter if they leave because this time it's with Cassie. "All right."

"Thank you." Cassie looks really happy.

They split up and Riani rejoined her friends.

"That's the bule I saw talking to you at Kuta beach right? Oh gosh. He's a real good-looking man." Dessy was curious.

"Yes." Yeah."

"It looks like he likes you, Riani." Bunga said.

"No way. He just likes to be friends. The little girl is his son."

"He's married?" Dessy looks disappointed.

"He's a widower."

"Well, fit dong!" Dessy was excited to return.

"I don't want to have a relationship with a guy. We don't know them very well. Let's get on the bus." Riani tried to cover up what was beginning to grow in her heart. He does not want the events that were repeated. He does not want to be fascinated by men just because of his good looks.

Dessy saw her neat best friend with a white casual dress and strap shoes that she had just bought earlier. Riani's hair was tied to one and she used a thin make up.

"Where are you going?"

"Jack and his daughter took me to Jimbaran. Dinner"

"Jack? That bule?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Well. Honestly, you really like that bule."

'I just appreciate his daughter's invitation. We'll be back here by 9."

Dessy smiled. "Happy my friend. You deserve to be happy. Because you've been suffering for too long."

"I'm just friends with Jack. It won't be more because I don't want to open my heart wrong." Riani picked up her Sling bag then immediately exited the room.

The three of them took a taxi to Jimbaran.

"Where are your other friends?" riani asked as they got off the taxi.

"They came first." Jack answered and paid for the taxi. It turns out Jack's friends have booked a place in one of the existing cafes. Jack introduces his friends Charles and Arnold.

Jack's two friends are people who are fun to talk to. They spoke lightly because Cassie was among them.

After eating, Cassie invites Riani to take a picture together. They also took some photos. Cassie with Riani, then with Jack and Charles and Arnold. Finally, Cassie asks her papa for a photo with Riani. Although somewhat timid, they can both be photographed together.

"Cassie's a sweet kid huh? He also seems smart" said Riani when they were left alone by Cassie who went with Jack's two friends to get into some of the shops there.

"Yes. He is indeed a sweet and clever boy but a little possessive with his daddy."

"meaning?"

"He takes care of me if he wants to be close to a woman. But it doesn't seem like it's the time with you."

Riani stopped her steps. He looked at Jack even a little shyly.

"Riani, like I told you, that I'm in love with you. I'm even honest with Cassie. She said that if she was like Miss Riani, Cassie would agree. I don't know what he saw from you. We've just had 3 days of acquaintance. But this is how I feel and this is how my son feels."

"But Jack, I'm ....!"

Jack grabbed both of Riani's hands and grasped them tightly.

"Look at my eyes. You will find my sincerity. I fell in love with you"

Riani looked into Jack's eyes. He saw there was honesty there. But for a moment the doubt reappeared. Making Riani turn her face elsewhere. The place they stand today is rather quiet because it is far from the area of cafes and rows of shops that exist.

Jack let go of his hand which was holding Riani's hand. Now he cupped both cheeks Riani so that the girl looked back at him.

"I can feel that you have the same taste as me" Jack said.

Riani swallowed her saliva. Their distance was so close that it made Riani's heart beat very fast.

"I.....!" Riani became very nervous.

Jack's right hand coiled around Riani's waist and pulled the woman closer to him. "My son and I are going back to London tomorrow because we have only 10 days to visit."

"You're going home tomorrow?" I don't know why Riani felt so unwilling.

Jack's left hand stroked Riani's face. "Yes. But I'll raise some more money and come back to Indonesia to propose to you."

"Me.... propose?"

"Yes. But I need to know if you want to accept my love. This one's booby-daughtering widower."

Riani looked back at Jack. His entire sense suddenly disappeared from being fascinated by the bull man's eyes. As hard as Riani tried to deny his heart, in fact he also felt the vibration of love for the man.

"Jack, haven't we just met? How can we both be sure of this feeling?"

Jack smiled. "I've always believed that love comes anytime, anywhere, under any circumstances."

"Jack, I don't want to be played. I've been hurt before and it hurts me a lot."

"I will prove my feelings, Riani. Because I would never hurt a woman. Especially the woman I love."

Riani felt like crying but was hard to hold.

"Jack, this is crazy."

"Maybe." Jack laughed a little. He stroked Riani's face again. "The first time I saw you, it was like I found something I've been looking for." Jack then lowered his head, then tilted his head slightly. His hand now moved to the nape of Riani and they finally kissed.

Riani tried to pull away from the kiss. But somehow, he who had even forgotten how to kiss was like bewitched with the touch of Jack's lips to his lips. There was a warm sensation radiating throughout his body. Not just passion, but more to the feeling of happiness because it feels loved and slowly, although still feels stiff, Riani returned the kiss.
