Happy Birthday Dear

"Happy birthday, baby." Riani and Cassie surprise Jack who is watching a baseball game in the living room.

Jack looked at his watch which had shown at 12 past 15 minutes.

Indeed, finishing dinner last night, Cassie asked Riani to accompany her in the room. It turns out they're preparing a birthday cake for Jack.

"Thank you, my wife, thank you, my son" Jack said, blowing out the birthday candle and kissing his son and wife in turn.

"Daddy, here's my present!" cassie said while giving a slightly elongated box. When Jack opened it, it turned out to be a beautiful watch.

"Thank you dear." Jack hugged his daughter back.

"And this is for you, baby." Riani also gave her a blue coat. "I knit it myself."

"Darling, this is beautiful." Jack was wearing it.

Cassie couldn't hold back her tears. It made Jack and Riani look at him question mark.

"What's up, baby?" jack asked his son.

"I'm moved to see daddy happy."

"Oh baby.....!" Jack hugged his son.

Riani was also moved. He remembered Arma. Although almost every day he Videocall with his son, but did not reduce his longing for Arma.

The three of them ate the cake together. They even slept in front of the fireplace hugging. Jack was in the middle and he hugged his wife and daughter to his left and right.

This morning, Jack, Riani and Cassie are handling the grave of Cassie's mother in Manchester.

A luxurious funeral complex.

Once they got there, there were already white roses placed on top of the tomb. It seems like someone came before them.

A name was written there. CAMILA ALMONDS.

Riani knew that Almond was taken from Jack's name.

Cassie looks very good in prayer. He even kissed his mother's tombstone while saying. "Mommy who was in heaven, now we come three. Cassie has a new mommy. Her name is mommy Riani.The person is beautiful and kind. The cooking is good too. Cassie's happy she wants to come in daddy's life and Cassie's. But mommy Camila, don't be sad? Mommy Camila remains in Cassie's heart. Forever."

Riani's heart was touched hearing Cassie's words. Sister Camila, you must have been kind in your life because you gave birth to this amazing child. I promise you, I'll make Cassie and Jack happy.

After the pilgrimage, they returned home because Riani had to prepare food for the evening.

Jack says that his birthday was never celebrated because he and Cassie always came to Camila's grave. Later this year Jack wants to celebrate with friends and neighbors in this village. Cassie didn't even go to school and Jack didn't go to work.

Mrs Delia is invited by Jack to help Riani cook. Cassie herself grabs a simple decor with her father inside the house. They could not make their celebration outside the house because the weather was very cold.

At 8pm all guests arrived. Riani is introduced to Sam, one of Jack's current officials at work. Sam's dress looks neat in an expensive suit. He even came with one of the expensive cars.

"She's very pretty." praised Sam when he saw how Riani was instantly familiar with the guests who came. She was even taught to dance by Miss Delia.

"Yes. That's why I don't want to let go. The first time I saw it, I liked it."

"It's not because of the physical similarities, is it? Because I see that their faces look alike."

Jack smiled and gulped down the wine he was holding in the glass. "Physical equality or not, all that matters is Cassie's happy."

"Women know about your past?"

Jack shakes. "For me the past is a bitter memory that must be forgotten."

"But Cecilia won't let you go."

"He won't know if you keep your mouth shut. There will be a time when I open it all up. But wait a minute. Until I was sure that Riani really loved me and Cassie as much as I sincerely accepted Arma's son."

"You're crazy, Jack. I could see your eyes sparkling as I looked at Riani. You've really fallen in love with her."

Jack smiled in mystery. "For me love is a very hurtful lie."

"Not all women are alike, Jack."

Jack finished the wine in his glass. "You won't understand because you've never been in love, Sam." Jack then left his best friend and approached Riani who was talking to several women. Jack immediately wrapped his hands possessively around Riani's waist and kissed her cheek making Riani blush in shame.

Sam could only shake his head. Jack is Jack. For years Sam was friends with him, he sometimes did not understand him. Jack is too hurt by his past. And Sam hopes that Riani can heal his heart and make Jack believe that true love does exist.

The house is clean and tidy again. Throughout the night Jack helps Riani to clean up the leftovers. Mrs Delia helped them by washing all the tableware.

"Ah, finally get some rest." Riani laid her body.

Jack came out of the bathroom. He also changed his clothes. Slowly he got up on the bed.

"Honey, let's sit down and turn your back on me" he told Riani.

"Why?" riani asked but she followed her husband's orders.

"Ah, honey this is delicious. You are very good at massaging." said Riani as she closed her eyes.

"Actually I'm not good at massaging. Just following conscience. I know you're tired."

Riani just nodded. "But I'm glad everyone ate it up."

"Because the food is so good, dear. I love the chicken soup."

"Enough." Riani held Jack's hand. She turned her body and looked at her husband. "Darling, you're tired too, right? You helped me and Miss Delia cook. So now change me who's massaging you."

"Eh, I don't want a massage on my back. I want to get a massage here."

Riani smiled shyly as Jack took her hand and placed it on the core of Jack's body.

"You pervert, Jack!" .

"But you like it, right?" Jack asked his wife and they enjoyed a night of beautiful union, full of love and undeniable passion.

The next morning, Jack takes Cassie to his dorm and Jack goes to work because the direction is the same.

Riani was lonely at home. He briefly Videocall with Arma and her mother who were in the rice field. His father was giving him fertilizer.

"Mama, Arma wants to join the singing competition" said Arma.

"Well, mom's boy is great. Ask mom for a video? So that mom can watch it."

"OK, mama. Have you said happy birthday to daddy Jack?"

"Already, son. Daddy Jack is now at work."

"Mama must be lonely there."

"Not really. Mama has a lot of time making cakes and also looking at pictures of Arma. My mom is not lonely."

"Arma kangen same mom. Mom used to give my mom's negligee to hug me if nights couldn't sleep mama's mind."

"Mama will collect a lot of money so that Arma can vacation here."

"Good, mama."

Completed Videocall with Arma, Riani was back to sitting alone. He racked his brain to do something that made him money.

Riani went for a walk on her bike until she saw one of the bakeries there putting up an ad to look for employees. Riani stopped by to ask. The bakery owner said that he worked Riani hours from 8 am to 4 pm. So before Jack came home, Riani was already home. He also agreed directly.

When Jack returns home, Riani expresses her desire for work.

"No, hon. I've earned enough for our living expenses."

"Jack, it's not a matter of salary but I want to do something useful when you're not around. His work hours also ended at 4. So I was home before you got home."

Jack looked at Riani. "Darling, I don't want you to be too tired. You will remember Indonesia and leave me."

"really?"' Jack's eyes immediately sparkled. Riani let go of her hand which hugged Jack's arm.

"Come to the room!" take him spoiled make Jack immediately lift the tiny body of his wife and take her to the room.
