It has been more than 30 minutes Jack stood in front of the glass window in the living room. He looked out the window and put his hands in his pants pocket.

The coffee that Riani made had not been touched at all.

"Darling....!" Riani who had been silent since then immediately approached her husband.

Jack took a deep breath, gave a small smile to his wife and sat on the sofa and took the coffee that Riani had made and drank it to the end.

Riani sat down next to her husband. "Honey, aren't you leaving? What if your papa turns out, sorry, can't survive? Aren't you gonna regret it?"

Jack looked at his wife. "Since the age of 18, I've been leaving her. Even on my wedding day, my sister's wedding, she never came. Then why should he look for me at the end of his life?"

"Honey, forgiving it will not make us lose. It will calm us down. I'm not stressing you. But I don't want you to regret one day not doing it today."

Jack was silent.

Riani kissed Jack's back. "I'll have breakfast, okay?" Riani immediately went to the kitchen.

It's afternoon. Riani just finished making the cake. He wants to take her to Cassie's dorm.

As he was going to the room, at the door he passed Jack who had changed clothes and used a thick coat.

"You want to go?" ask Riani.

"Yes. I'm going to the hospital."

Riani smiled happily. "Thank God, Jack."

"You want to come with me?"

"If you let it."

Jack nodded. "I want you to come with me."

"I'll change my clothes first, okay?"

"Bring a change of clothes, too. Because my papa's in one of those hospitals in London."

"We're going to London?"

"Yes. We'll drive back for 4 hours."

"I'm ready to go with you, baby. I'm gonna change my clothes and get both of us ready. But before, we stopped by Cassie's dorm first huh? I made a cake for her."

Jack simply nodded and let his wife into the room to get ready.

At 9 p.m., they arrived in London. Jack's father was treated at one of The Thomson's houses. One of the best private hospitals in the city.

Felix the lawyer was delighted to see Jack arrive.

"Your sister Juliana is already on her way to this place. He said he wanted to come because you called him." said Felix.

"Where's daddy?"

Felix showed me a room that was partly glass. Jack peered inside and saw his papa lying there with so many life support tools.

A doctor comes out and lets Jack in, but Jack wants in if Riani accompanies him. They finally came in together.

Riani only realized that Jack's face was mostly similar to her papa. Starting from the nose, eyes and also the chin.

"Jack.....!" Ray opened his eyes. There was a twinkle of happiness behind his dimming eyes.

Jack didn't talk. He just kept silent while staring at the body of his father who looked thin. In terms of his papa is also a surfers athlete who is very maintain the shape of his body. But now he looked like a helpless old man.

"Hallo daddy!" raani sapa.

Ray looked at Riani. "Riani?" tanyakanya.

"Yes." Yeah."

Ray looked at Jack who was still acting indifferent to him. "I'm sorry, Jack. I know I hurt you."

Jack was silent. Riani looked at her husband. "Darling, I'll wait outside, okay? You better talk alone." Riani then paused and immediately exited the room.

Silence happened in that room. All that was heard was the sound of life support attached to Ray's body.

"Jack....!" call Ray.

Jack looked at his father. For a moment, she imagined her happy childhood. How her father taught her to ride a bike, learn to teach her to surf, even accompany her to make PR. Jack's heart churned. When remembering the love of his father but also the suffering experienced by his mother because of infidelity and KDRT that his mother often received.

Jack was silent.

Almost at the same time as Juliana's brother Jack arrives, Clark arrives. The man looked extremely tense and panicked upon entering the hospital. He didn't even say hello to Riani.

Raymond Almond's funeral was held that afternoon at Ray's request to his lawyer. He was buried next to his mother Jack's grave.
