Regret Jack

Jack can't sleep tonight. What Riani said made her heart uneasy. He was sad because everything that happened between them was his own fault.

The handsome man could only sit in front of the fireplace. He stared at the burning wood. As well as the feeling of his heart that was currently burning and breaking into dust over all his feelings of love for Riani.

Next to Jack was already a glass and a bottle of red wine he had just picked up from the wine cellar.

In this family room, Jack has sweet memories with Riani. It can be said that this room is Riani's favorite to have a special time when they are both. They even fuck here a few times.

Jack recalled Riani's laughter as Jack told her what a funny story.

"Ah.....Riani. I was so stupid to let you go." said Jack, sipping the wine in his glass.

Unable to bear all the feelings in his heart, Jack decides to meet Riani.

He took his car keys and immediately headed to Riani's apartment which was only 10 minutes from his mansion.

Jack knew this apartment because he had been here to meet with Clark's business partner who had also worked with him.

When he saw someone coming in, Jack walked in. He took the elevator to the 3rd floor.

Riani also actually did not sleep even though the time had shown at half-two in the morning. I don't know why he was upset because of the conversation he had with Jack.

I can't be like this. Jack hurt me so deeply. My goal is only one. Get Reo and go back to Indonesia.

Riani who was still lying on the living room sofa was shocked when she heard the sound of her apartment doorbell. He woke up because the doorbell didn't stop.

As he peeked out from the small glass that was in front of the door, he was surprised to see Jack standing there.

"What's up Jack? Something happened to Reo?" riani asked as she opened the door.

Jack walked in. He stood waiting for Riani to finish closing the door and the two now faced each other.

"What's Jack?" riani asked when she saw that the man was silent.

"Ri, give me a chance to be with you again. I promise I will change all my selfish attitudes. I was so tormented when I found out the truth."

"Sorry, Jack. I don't want to go back in time."

Jack grabbed Riani's hand. "Ri, I'm begging you. Let's fix the relationship between us. For Cassie, Arma and Reo."

Riani pulled her hand from Jack's grasp. "For Cassie, Arma and Reo? Did you think of them when you filed for divorce with me? Did you think of them when you blocked me from coming here? Why do you just now want me to consider them?" riani shouted out all her anger at Jack whom she had been holding back.

"I know that I'm too stupid to trust you. I'm a jealous man because my love for you is too big. I'm a possessive man so unwilling to see how Daniel touches you and you reply with affection. So angry and jealous of me that my common sense could not make me think clearly. I love you too much, Ri." Jack said with teary eyes.

Riani turned her body. He didn't want to see Jack's eyes. He does not want to lose and give up because he also still loves the man who has hurt him very deeply.

Jack approached and immediately hugged Riani very tightly. "Isn't your love left for me?" jack asked while whispering in Riani's ear.

"Let go, Jack!" Riani tried to let go of Jack's hand that was on her waist. Of course it is useless because Jack's strength is far above Riani's strength.

"I'm not letting you go!"

"Dele !"

"I love you, Ri."

Riani who kept trying to release herself from Jack's embrace finally gave up. He took a deep breath and slowly exhaled.

"I've loved you before. Ever fought to keep my love. But now everything is different. I've been with another man."

Jack's hand that was on Riani's waist slowly slipped away.

Riani turned her body and looked Jack in the eyes. "I've been with another man. I've even slept with him."

Jack's tears fell. It is very clear that he was injured hearing Riani's confession. "With Prince Philip?" jack asked slowly while enduring the pain in his heart.

"Yes. I opened my heart to him. She is kind, gentle and also appreciates me as a widow with two children. I don't know how our relationship is going forward. Whether the government will accept me or not. I'm sure I'm with him."

Jack wiped his tears violently. "Can't you just leave Philip and come back with me? I don't care if you've slept with her."

"Sorry, Jack. I thought I was in love with her."

"And how do you feel about me?"

"Only friends because we have Reo."

Jack nodded. He immediately walked away without saying anything more.

Riani cries as Jack disappears behind the door.

After a shower and breakfast, Riani immediately ordered a taxi to go to Jack's mansion.

He arrived there when the time was already showing at half-eleven in the afternoon.

Leo opened the door.

"Welcome, madam."

"Thank you Leo. Is Cassie home?"

"No. Miss Cassie's going to the hospital."

"Who's sick?"

"Mr Jack."

"Oh..." Riani simply nodded and prepared to go to the second floor to meet her son.

"Mr Jack had a morning accident earlier."

Riani's steps stopped. He looked back at Jack. "Accident?"

"Yes. He hit a roadblock and his car overturned. His head was injured and his hand was broken. Last night was operated on. Until I got home, she wasn't conscious post-surgery."

"What did the doctor say?"

"He's gone through a critical period. Just the effect of the drug until he's unconscious."

Riani knew for sure because of their conversation last night until Jack became like that.

"Mah..ma....!"

Riani's attention is distracted by Reo's voice which turns out to be walking while being led by Lissy.

"Hallo mommy's son!"

Reo laughed happily when he saw Riani.

"Come over here!" Riani finally continued her steps up the stairs. And Reo walked quickly until finally he could be in his mother's arms.

Sam's keeping everything in order to keep the news of Jack Almond's accident from spreading everywhere. Jack was placed in a special room with special care.

Cassie was home when her dad regained consciousness. Sam is accompanying Jack.

The man only regained consciousness for a while and then fell asleep again.

"What time is it, Sam?"

"Four 10 nights."

"I'm thirsty."

Sam's got some water for Jack.

"So, Riani came here" Sam said after Jack drank.

"really ?" Jack was happy.

"He came with Prince Philip."

Jack's face looked sad again. "They're already made."

"just fine. Looks friendly."

Jack took a deep breath. His whole body is sick. But the most painful thing was his heart.

"I'll take Riani back."

"Cure yourself first, sir. Cassie's so sad to see how you're doing."

Jack nodded. His heart was determined to chase after Riani and get her back.
