The Wise Riani

Cecilia's words had indeed surprised Riani greatly. But he tried to calm his heart. All the bitter events that have happened in his past have made Riani more mature to reveal what he saw and heard. Moreover, the advice of her parents always reminded Riani to trust her husband's words more.

"Pregnant?" riani asked calmly even though her heart ached while listening to that.

"Honey.., I can explain everything..." Jack approached Riani with a very nervous feeling.

Riani smiled. She put her hand on her husband's arm and looked at Cecilia.

"Cecilia Smith, the sweet story between the two of you means nothing more. I know that you really want Jack back to you. Jack is mine now. Accept that reality. You are pregnant with Jack's child or not, it will be proven later with the results of DNA tests. And if it's proven that it's Jack's son, I won't stop Jack from being with you."

"Darling..., I love you." Jack didn't like what Riani said. He didn't want to let Riani go just because of Cecilia.

Riani smiled back. He rubbed Jack's face very gently. "Calm down, baby. I won't let you go if you want to be with me either." He looked at Cecilia. "Go home Cecilia. It's not good for a pregnant woman to wander outside at midnight like this. You heard it yourself that Jack wanted to be with me. So, if it is proven that it is Jack's son then, Jack will definitely be responsible in his own way without having to be with you. Come on baby....!" Riani instantly pulled Jack's hand to leave.

"I'm going to expose to the media that you're a jerk, Jack! I'm going to destroy you." shouted Cecilia annoyed to see Jack and Riani get into the car. 2 security officers immediately get rid of Cecilia from the front of the gate.

Jack's car entered his yard.

As the driver opened the door, Riani calmly went downstairs and thanked him. He moved ahead of Jack a little quickly. Jack began to realize with a change in Riani's attitude that had looked calm and now seemed to start to feel emotion.

"Darling.....!" Jack grabbed Riani's hand but brushed it off violently.

"I hate you, Jack." said Riani slowly but clearly heard by Jack. He climbed the stairs so quickly that Jack was afraid that he would fall.

They also arrived in the room. Riani threw the wallet in her hand onto the bed. He opened his shoes, then took them into a walk in closet, arranged everything there, including opening all the accessories attached to his body.

"Honey....!" Jack followed Riani.

"Please open my dress" Riani said, turning her back to Jack.

"Darling.me and Cecilia...."

"I want to change clothes after that we just talked!" Riani interrupted Jack's sentence.

Jack opened his wife's dress. Riani took the dress to the dirty laundry basket and then she stepped into the bathroom wearing only underwear. He carried his pajamas in his hand.

10 Minutes later, Riani came out of there and was already in her pajamas and had finished cleaning her face.

Jack had opened his suit, and so were his shoes. His long-sleeved shirt had been rolled up to his elbow and he had already taken out his tie.

Riani then sat down on the long sofa and Jack immediately followed her and sat down next to her.

"Honey.....!"

Riani moved away as Jack approached her. "Tell me how the model can tell you she's pregnant with your child."

Jack told me everything. "I don't remember what happened that night. I woke up and realized that I was only using a boxer. I left Cecilia's apartment after that. I was so scared to tell you. Because I don't want to lose you."

Riani looked at Jack. "It's all happened, Jack. If it turns out to be your son, I'm willing to back off."

"No, hon. I don't want you to back off. Ilove you. I don't want to lose you." Jack held both hands of Riani. He did not care even though it was very strong that the woman pulled him, he was firmly holding Riani's hand.

"Don't leave me, Riani. Don't.....!" please Jack.

"But the boy needs a father. I once felt how difficult it was to get pregnant with Arma and just by myself. Even though my father and mother were always with me but without a husband, it felt really hard."

Riani's heart that had been angry and jealous slowly calmed down. It hurts to know that there are other women who are pregnant with the child of the man we love. Even though the truth is proven. But what if it's Jack's son?

"Diamond.....!"

Riani took a deep breath. He then returned Jack's hand. "Jack, I'm confused as to how. Right now I just want to be alone."

"Don't be like this, Ri. I don't want to be ignored by you."

"I don't ignore you. I just want to prepare my heart if it turns out it's your son."

"Don't make the decision to leave me. I don't want to."

Riani lowered her head and kissed the forehead of Jack who was still kneeling before her.

"I have no intention of leaving you, baby. So let me think calmly. So that I can make the best decision."

Jack nodded. He knew that Riani was being wise. He does not force anymore.

2 Weeks have passed.....

Riani is still preparing Jack's needs before going to work, preparing food and accompanying Jack to some important events. But once entering the room, Riani was reluctant to be touched by Jack. Cecilia's big-bellied shadow always haunts her.

Like today. Jack didn't come into the office. He wanted to spend time with Riani.

He had prepared a helicopter and took his wife to an island to stay for 2 days.

When he got off the helicopter, Riani suddenly got dizzy. He even vomited. Jack took his wife to the room.

"Sorry Jack. I might not be used to getting on a helicopter."

"It's okay, baby. Should I get you some food?" ask Jack.

"I want to eat tofu with a terasi sambal?"

"What food is that, baby?"

"Indonesian specialties."

"Well, where are you going to find it? Is there nothing else?"

"Want that. I'm just gonna drool at it."

Jack looked at his wife. She remembers that Camila used to ask for strange things when she was pregnant with Cassie.

"Darling, are you pregnant?"

Riani surprised. "Pregnant?"

Jack nodded with a happy smile.

"Jack, I'm gonna throw up again." Riani runs to the bathroom and Jack gets excited. She was sure Riani must be pregnant. Something he's wanted for a long time since they got married. Jack immediately called his men and asked them to bring a tespack immediately to the island.
