Jack's Business (Part 3)

Clark was shocked when he entered Riani's study and saw the room filled with flowers.

"Waw, this is amazing. Who's this crazy guy who's been sending this many flowers?" ask Clark while researching the flowers one by one.

"From Jack?" clark said as he read all of J's initials.

"Who else?"

Clark shook his head. "My brother is crazy. Maybe only now does he realize he's crazy about you."

"He's making me dizzy, Clark. In a day he can send 3 to 4 flowers."

Clark chuckles. "He's now so desperate and sober because you're ignoring him."

"If you don't remember Reo, I really don't want to go there anymore."

Clark sat in front of Riani. "Do you still have a heart for her?"

"My priority right now is Reo. If I've got custody so Reo can stay with me, then I can be relieved."

"You're afraid to admit that you're still keeping your heart for her?"

Riani looked at Clark. "I don't still have love for her. It's just that I don't dare to open my heart to anyone else. I've been married twice. How would it be to get married again."

"You're so young, Ri. Not even 27 years old."

"If Jack is serious about turning back, won't you give him a second chance?"

"I don't know. I'm afraid of being hurt by Jack again because of his selfishness. I'm very comfortable with my life now."

Clark could only nod. "We're meeting in an hour?" Clark walked to the door. But he turned again. "Greetings from Philip. He said he missed."

"How are you?"

"Again with her in the hospital."

"It hurts?"

"Omanya is sock because she decided on love with Anastasya."

Riani could only laugh. "He's a unique man. There are a lot of boys who don't care so much about their eyes. But Philip is amazing."

"He's the ideal husband."

"For another girl. Not a widow with two children like me."

"Who said? You are a young widow who is much sought after by the Caucasians."

Riani laughed at Clark's confession. He knew that Clark always said sweet things to comfort him.

"Where are we going? I want to go home, Jack." said Riani protested when she saw that Jack was pointing the car in the other direction.

"You'll know. Calm down."

Riani was surprised to see Jack had picked her up as soon as she got home from work. Jack said that he wanted to take Riani somewhere out of Cassie's desire.

As soon as the car entered the hilly area, Riani began to know where Jack was going to take him.

"Why do we have to come here?" riani asked as Jack's car stopped in the parking lot.

"This year, it's going to snow at about half past six in the afternoon. Come on down." Jack immediately opened the car door and got down, then he turned around and opened the car door for Riani." Come on down, baby."

Riani went down even though her face looks frivolous.

The wind started blowing. Riani put her jacket together. Some couples seem to be starting there.

"Jack, what are we here for? We're not a couple anymore?"

Jack grabbed both hands of Riani, looking deeply into his wife's beautiful eyes. "I want you to listen to my heart's deepest confession."

"Jack, come on, your confession won't bring about a change in our relationship."

Riani was shocked as she felt something soft and cold touch her face. The woman looked up and saw that the snow had indeed fallen.

He was fascinated for the second time to see the first snow. He looked back at Jack and saw that he was praying.

Riani. Jack looked very serious when he prayed. Until finally the man opened his eyes and immediately looked at Riani. "I pray that God will help me to be more patient and wise in my life. I pray that God will open your heart to be with me again. So Cassie, Arma and Reo can grow up in a whole family."

Riani kept looking at Jack. He seems confused as to what to say. Jack smiled. He cleared the snowflakes that were beginning to fill Riani's head. "Riani, I love you and will continue to love you" Jack said, bringing Riani into his arms.

Jack closed his eyes, enjoying the hug even though he knew that Riani did not return the hug. Jack is grateful that they can enjoy the moment together in the moment, as they did in the past year.

"Jack, let's go home !" Riani finally spoke. Jack nodded then let go of his embrace and while holding Riani's hand, the two returned to the parking lot.

Along the way, Riani just kept silent not talking. His eyes are straight ahead. While Jack tunes a romantic song from his car tape. A song that reminded Riani as they danced in the village house. Ah, Riani misses that house.

When Riani tried to return from her dreamland, she realized that they were entering a small road leading to the village house.

"Jack, why are you here?" ask Riani astonished.

"The kids are already there. We're going to be here this weekend. You want to, right?"

Riani did not answer. He looked at Jack with a confused feeling. He knew Jack was trying to get his heart.

When the car finally stopped in front of the house, Jack immediately went down and opened the door for Riani.

Cassie opened the door while Leo was preparing dinner in the dining room.

Something is different with the living room. On the fireplace, there was a picture of their wedding. Then there's a picture of the four of them on vacation when Arma came to Manchaster. On the other wall, there are photos of Riani's pregnancy, right up to Reo's birth. The most recent is Reo's birthday photo where they also take pictures along with a smile of happiness.

"Eh, Cassie, where's Reo?"

"Sleeping in the room, mom. Reo was a little fussy. Maybe looking for mommy. But after being given milk by Sister Hanna, she slept very well." Cassie replied and wrapped her hands around Riani's arms. "Let's eat!"

Riani nodded. He was very hungry because he ate a little lunch because of the many jobs in the office.

When Riani saw the food menu on the table, she was surprised to see there was white rice, there were crackers, there was fried chicken and sambal terasi.

"Leo?" Riani looked at Leo.

"Master ordered me to go to an Asian store. If crackers and terasi in a special message from Surabaya. Miss Dessy sent it through Vigo."

Riani surprised. "The relationship continues?"

"Vigo will even go to Indonesia later this year."

Riani smiled. So busy he was a few months until he forgot to ask about his best friend.

Finally Riani ate dinner really well. He missed all the Indonesian food.

The night was late but Riani could not close her eyes. Some time ago Leo and Hanna had already returned to the city.

Riani couldn't have slept in Cassie's not-so-big room. Finally he slept with Reo and Jack in this room.

Slowly Riani got up and got out of bed. He grabbed his jacket and stood by the glass window. Get rid of the window blinds and look at the yard that has started to be covered with snow.

"What are you thinking?" Jack had suddenly come and hugged Riani from behind.

For a moment Riani was silent. It's been almost a year since they divorced, and he hasn't felt the warmth of Jack's embrace for a long time.

"I miss you, baby." whispered Jack and kissed Riani's nape very gently making the book I sat Riani immediately stood up.

"Let go, Jack!"

"I'm not letting you go."
