Decision (part 2)
"So what's your decision?" Rendra asked expectantly.
"I'm..." Anika glanced at the Emperor at a glance asking for an opinion through the look in his eyes, and the young man immediately caught Anika's intention by shaking his head a sign that he did not agree if Anika should accept Rendra back.
Anika sighed heavily before replying, "I want to..."
Hearing Anika Rendra's reply and the Emperor rise from his seat for different reasons, the Emperor is shocked and disappointed at Anika's decision while Rendra looks very happy.
"really? I didn't hear wrong, did I?" Said Rendra while holding both hands Anika.
Rendra hugged Anika and said, "Thank you Ika, I promise I will be a good husband and will not make the same mistakes as before. I promise for you and for the Emperor."
Anika let go of Rendra's embrace before saying, "Eh that's not what I mean, I haven't finished answering." He said with an annoyed grunt.
"Not finished answering? What do you mean, Ika?" Rendra was clearly confused while the Emperor remained silent.
"I haven't finished answering yet, but you've concluded yourself."
"meaning?"
"I mean I'm going to live alone with the Emperor, not come back to you." Anika replied with a slight annoyance.
"Mama..." The Emperor said softly the young man was a little surprised but a smile was clearly engraved on his lips.
"Do you really mean your decision, Ika?" This time Rendra's voice weakened as the answer he expected was unheard.
"Is it because of the doctor? Doctor Revan who declared himself your future husband?" Rendra continued who still could not accept Anika's decision.
Anika shook her hand repeatedly, "No, not because of Revan. He has nothing to do with this. And he's not my future husband." Anika replied firmly.
"Then why?" Ask Rendra.
Anika was silent for a while then let out a long sigh before replying, "Sorry Rendra, I have indeed given all your deeds to me, but to return is very difficult for me to accept."
"I'm glad you finally found out the truth and realized your own mistakes. But like a broken glass glass, it can not be reassembled as before, that's how our household today." Anika.
"Let's..." Rendra said in a soft voice.
Rendra lowered her gaze so sickly at Anika's confession, it turned out that she had been so evil to hurt women as well as Anika. And stupidly, why did he realize now that it was too late? Why did he not want to hear the explanation of Anika, if time can be played back, maybe Rendra will never want to believe the photo and more trust his own wife but asked for an explanation though.
With a stifled voice Rendra tried to say, "I'm sorry Ika, please forgive me once again. Even if we can't go back, I hope we can part with a peaceful feeling.
"Yes I forgive you, Rendra." Anika replied with a gentle smile.
So airy Anika heart despite being hurt and injured for years, she still easily apologized to Rendra, it's not that she's a weak woman that she thinks revenge isn't a wise way out. If he does that, the problem will not be solved but will cause other problems will even make his heart hard and turn into a hater.
Anika was relieved, the burden on her shoulders felt lifted as she was able to come to terms with the circumstances.
"The emperor forgave Papa too." Said the Emperor who had suddenly been standing beside the sofa occupied by Rendra.
Rendra turned his head towards the Emperor, "Son..." His tears could no longer be weathered.
The Emperor hugged Rendra before saying, "I'm sorry Kai is also Pa, for Kai's insolent attitude all along. Sorry Kai, Pa."
"Papa knows, Papa knows. You don't have to apologize."
Anika saw the scene with haru, she brushed off the tears that almost fell at the end of her eyes.
Relieved mixed haru because there is no misunderstanding between them, although they can not return together to be a whole family at least they can still establish good friendship without any hatred.
