Sad and Proud

The Emperor meets Elena in the hospital parking lot. Elena looks like she's getting ready to leave.

"Kai!" Call Elena while waving your hand when you see the Emperor getting out of his car.

The Emperor turned his head then smiled when he saw Elena. Then he approached the woman with his left hand carrying a small bag.

"What did you bring?" Elena asked as she glanced at the bag carried by the Emperor.

The Emperor took a glance at the bag he was carrying and then picked up to show Elena before saying, "Ah this is Kai's shirt with Mama, Mama doesn't like it if you have to wear hospital clothes."

Elena nodded slowly then replied, "Oh... Ah yes Kai, your mother is aware, but sorry aunt can not nemenin. Aunty's afternoon has a schedule. But maybe tonight aunty can go again."

"No aunt, relax. Kai can do it himself." The young man replied with a smile.

"Yes, auntie is leaving now. Take good care of your mom." Said Elena while patting the Emperor on the shoulder.

"definitely. Be careful on the way aunt, thank you for today." The Emperor replied with a nod of his head from Elena. Then the middle-aged woman immediately went to her car.

The Emperor looked at Elena's car for a while until it came out of the hospital area, then he immediately went towards Anika's room.

"How's Mama doing?" Asked the Emperor when he was already in Anika's room, he was seen sitting on Anika's bedside chair.

Anika smiled and replied, "Well, son, are you not going to school?"

"Kai permission first Ma, tomorrow just enter again. No papa, right?"

"It should be no, but because it's already no papa. But tomorrow-tomorrow can not permit again yes!"

The Emperor nodded his head with a smile before replying, "Ready boss!"

"How is the food still there? Mama hasn't had breakfast?" The Emperor asked as he looked at the intact food the hospital had given Anika.

Anika shook her head slowly before replying, "Not son, Mama has no appetite. Later if you feel hungry, Mama eat."

"Let's have a son."

"Ssttt Mama can not refuse! come now eat let Kai bribe." Said the young man, before starting to feed Anika, the Emperor first helped the middle-aged woman to sit down.

"Yes." Said the Emperor as he was about to put a spoonful of food into Anika's mouth.

Anika was fed by being fed by the Emperor, there was a feeling of sadness and pride that flashed in her heart. She is saddened at her current condition that Rendra is nowhere near as a husband figure, but she is proud she has a son who is always there when Anika needs to be, a responsible and loving son. A grown-up son even though he was still considered a child in Anika's eyes.

"You've had breakfast, son?" Anika asked on the sidelines to eat it.

"Udah was home, Ma." The Emperor replied briefly.

Suddenly the Emperor gave a small laugh seeing Anika's expression while eating, which caused confusion from Anika.

"Why laugh, son?" Anika asked confusedly.

"That's, Mama's expression is cute when eating hahaha." The Emperor answered with laughter.

"So, you dare to worry about Mama." Anika had a sullen face, but she was actually happy to see her son laughing.

"Definitely not good, Ma, the food?" Asked the young man with a little laugh.

"Who would love hospital food?" Answer Anika.

The Emperor smiled gently at Anika before saying, "Don't get sick anymore Ma, Mama should stay healthy because the Emperor only has Mama in this world."

"Definitely son, pray Mama to be healthy quickly."

"Ma Sure." The Emperor replied briefly.

"Here baby hug Mama!" Anika said as she spread out her hands, and the Emperor immediately hugged her mother.
