Introduction (part 2)

Anika's sneers heard the voice of the person who was chatting, but when she opened her eyes she only saw the Emperor alone.

"Kai..." Calling Anika, the Emperor turned to Anika.

"Have you woken up?" The Emperor asked with a slight surprise.

"Please get Mama a drink, son! Mama's throat feels dry." Anika looked so limp and her face looked pale.

"Yes Ma." The Emperor replied, who then took a glass of water that was already available on a small table beside Anika's bed.

"It's Ma." Said the Emperor again while helping Anika to drink, Anika drank the water with a sleeping position while raising her head slightly.

"Thank you son." Anika said with a smile.

The Emperor then put the glass to its original place when asked by Anika, "Kai, Mama was horrified by the voice of others, did anyone visit here?"

"There's no Ma, there's only Elena's aunt and Doctor Revan here." The Emperor replied as he sat back on the seat beside Anika's seat.

"Who's Dr Revan?" Anika asked confusedly.

Just as the Emperor was about to reply, the person they were talking about, came to Anika's room.

"Away awake?" Revan said to Anika with a smile.

"This is Ma, Revan's doctor Kai meant." Kai said to Anika.

Revan smiled amiably at Anika while nodding softly in a respectful manner before saying, "I'm doctor Revan, from this moment on I'll handle you."

Anika returned Revan's smile, "I am Anika, please help doc."

"I injected the medicine first, ma'am." Revan said as he prepared the syringe and the medicine.

After finishing, then swiftly Revan injected the drug into Anika's hand, "Hold yes, this will cause a little pain around the injected hand." Revan.

"Aw!" Anika groaned slowly when injected with the drug.

Anika smiled as she endured the pain in her hands, "Thank you doc."

Revan simply replied with a smile before turning to the Emperor and asking, "You've already told your mother about tomorrow?"

"Ah has not dok, because Mama just woke up services I have not had time to talk." The Emperor replied with an awkward smile.

"What's up with tomorrow?" Anika asked by showing a puzzled expression.

"No need to panic, tomorrow afternoon we will start your chemotherapy. So save your energy for tomorrow." Revan replied with a smile until it looked like he was closing his eyes because of his narrow eyes.

Anika looks limp after hearing Revan's reply, "Tok me..." Before he could finish, the Emperor spoke first.

"No papa Ma, there's Kai here, Mama can definitely. The Emperor will always accompany Mama." The Emperor tried to appease Anika, but Anika was not afraid that she would undergo chemotherapy, she still did not want to do so.

Suddenly Anika remembered Elena's words when she first found out she had cancer.

"Dad, please think about what I said. Do the treatment even if you don't want to, at least do it for the Emperor. You must want to see the Emperor married and happy?" Elena tried to find another way to persuade Anika.

Instantly Anika shed her tears, nodding repeatedly she said, "Love, thank you. Mama will be fighting more from now on."

The Emperor raised his hand to wipe away Anika's tears before saying, "Mama don't cry, will the Emperor be sad."

Revan, who has since noticed, has felt a bitter feeling, he has often handled cancer patients, but somehow only this time he was involved in the grief of his patients.

"What the Emperor said is true Ma'am, you must be uplifting in medicine this time around. Emperor strong boy, you're really lucky to have him." Revan finally spoke.

Anika smiled at Revan and replied, "Yes, I am indeed the luckiest mother in the world for having a son like the Emperor."

"I'm sorry, then." Revan.

"Okay doc, thanks again." Anika and the Emperor answered almost simultaneously.
