13 Years Ago (part 3)

Rendra came home when it was midnight, her appearance was more chaotic than before, she walked with staggering steps and her left hand was seen clutching a glass bottle.

Anika who saw Rendra coming home immediately stood up from her seat and approached Rendra. She hasn't slept since waiting for Rendra to come home.

"Rendra, you're finally home." Anika.

Anika sniffed for smelling a pungent smell then said, "You drink?"

Rendra remained silent and occasionally drank alcohol.

"Stop Rendra!" Anika's orders with

a loud voice.

"Why are you like this, it's not good for your health, Rendra!"

Anika feels sad to see the other side of Rendra, as long as they are in a relationship, only this time Anika sees Rendra being rude and out of bounds. Because as far as he knows, Rendra does not like alcoholic beverages at all as he does now.

Rendra looked at Anika with a sharp look and then snapped at her, "That's the bottom you're a cheap woman!"

But Anika did not care about Rendra's words she actually took the alcoholic drink from Rendra's hands while saying, "I'll throw it away!"

Rendra quickly picked up the bottle again then slammed it on the floor until it broke into pieces.

"You've lost your right to me, so get out of my sight from now on!" Rendra said in a typical drunken voice.

"You're drunk, so you're slacking off. Now you better get some sleep." Anika grabs Rendra's hand about to break him into the room, but what happens is that Rendra actually pushes him until Anika falls into a wall nearby.

"Aw!" Anika complained of pain while holding her previously banged head.

"From now on, don't try to touch me! Because I feel disgusted by all your touches! I don't want to be touched by a woman who's been sleeping with another man!" After saying so, Rendra went to her room without helping Anika first.

Anika cried sobbing, all her life she never imagined something this bad would happen to her.

"Rendra I will definitely prove my innocence and all the charges are false!" Anika is determined to find out who has framed her and who is trying to destroy her household.

Anika closed her eyes, and instantly came the beautiful memories when she was with Rendra, starting from dating, her wedding day, until the time when she was sick and giving birth also flashed when she closed her eyes.

The next morning, Anika awakens from her sleep and sees Rendra in her room. Yes, last night Anika slept in the guest room because she was still in shock about what happened.

Opened slowly the door of her room and she looked inside, it turned out that there was no Rendra there, Anika thought maybe Rendra was in the bathroom she was approaching the bathroom, he was approaching the bathroom, but there was no sound in it and Anika decided to enter the bathroom and sure enough Rendra was not in it.

"Has he gone?" Anika asked herself while sitting on the bed.

"Who set me up and dared to destroy my family like this."

"And yes, when was the picture taken the feeling lately I never went out of the house." Anika spoke to herself.

Anika decided to contact someone via mobile phone.

"Hello?" Said Anika after the phone was connected.

"Hello Anika, what's going on suddenly calling?"

"Elena, i... I'm..." Yes, Anika contacts Elena, her only friend, Anika tells Elena everything that happened last night, then asks the woman to help her figure out the truth that happened.

"What?!" Elena was really surprised to hear the story from Anika.

"Well, do you really not remember everything?" Elena asked, she did not disbelieve Anika just that she wanted to make sure everything was in detail so that there was no mistake.

"I, I'm not sure Lena. I don't think I've seen anyone lately."

Elena was heard sighing heavily then saying, "I'll help you as much as I can, you just focus on your son huh."

"Lena I really don't know what to say to you. I promise, I'll repay your kindness, Lena."

"It's Ika, you've helped me a lot too, so it's time for my turn."

"Whatever it is, thank you Lena." Anika said with tears.

"You take good care of yourself and the Emperor."

"definitely. Thanks again." And the call ended.

Anika clasped her phone tightly while closing her eyes she said, "I hope for you Lena. And you wait, the truth will come soon."
