Rendra's car came out of his office at night around seven p.m. However, during the trip there was another car that followed him from behind with a safe distance, so Rendra did not know he was being followed.
"Today I have to find out where Papa is going. Is it right to work or is there anything else for days not to go home." Yes, the car that followed Rendra was the Emperor's car. The young man waited in the front street not far from Rendra's office since afternoon, intending to follow where Rendra had gone.
The Emperor continued to follow Rendra, occasionally he almost lost track of being obstructed by other vehicles. But he managed to catch Rendra back.
Both cars stopped at a red light, "May my guess not be right." The Emperor certainly hoped that his suspicions during this time did not really happen.
"This street again?" Said the Emperor, because Rendra was heading to another road that the Emperor had seen him while stopping at the same red light.
Rendra is seen stopping at a cake shop and entering it, a few moments later he came out with a mid-sized box-shaped parcel and then returned to drive his car.
The emperor occasionally bit his lips, there was a hint of fear flashing across him. If his conjecture was correct, was he prepared to accept it.
Soon Rendra arrived at a large enough house, he entered the yard of the house. While the Emperor only stopped across the street, looking at everything from the car although not close, but the Emperor could still see it clearly.
The emperor kept observing everything until he saw a short-haired woman and a girl of about eleven. After that, Rendra was seen kissing the cheek of the woman and then squatting in front of the girl while showing the cake she bought while on the road earlier.
"Happy birthday to Adel, Papa's beautiful son." The emperor faintly heard Rendra say that sentence. They looked happy and laughed together before entering the house.
"Papa's son?" The Emperor repeated Rendra's words he did not cry but his eyes were red, his heart ached and tight.
"So it's true that Papa's had other families?" The Emperor gripped the steering wheel so tightly.
She held onto her chest that felt so tight, "Why Pa, why? Is it our fault that Papa betrayed us?" There was no feeling that the tears he was holding finally escaped just like that.
The Emperor wanted to shout as loudly as he could and asked his Papa for an explanation at that moment. But he remembered his mother and finally with mixed feelings he drove his car to go home.
The emperor drove at a high speed splitting the city crowd ferociously. No matter he was a lot of other riders shouting at him, what he had in mind right now was that he wanted to quickly get home and tell his Mama about Rendra.
"The person I've been proud of and I'm a role model, turns out to be the most vulnerable person I've ever known!" The Emperor with a very angry feeling.
Arriving at home, she immediately entered and shouted in search of her Mama, "Mama!"
There was no word from Anika, the Emperor ran looking to Anika's room and to another room but Anika was not seen either.
"Happy birthday dear." Said a woman who made the Emperor look back from nowhere Anika came, Anika was seen smiling at him while carrying a medium-sized tart cake that had been lit by candles. It is a surprising coincidence that the birthday of the Emperor and Adel fell on the same date and month.
Kasiar immediately hugged his mother, who made Anika carry the cake with one hand.
"Sorry Kai Ma, sorry Kai." Said the Emperor while crying.
Anika felt her shoulders wet from tears then said, "You cry son? Why apologize to Mama?"
The Emperor let go of his embrace his face was already looking chaotic, with a whim of him trying to say, "Papa Ma..."
"Dear, Papa why?" Anika asked in surprise.
"Papa cheated Ma!" The Emperor replied that Anika had dropped the cake she had brought to the ground.
