The Unexpected Meeting
Rendra was sitting in the living room closing her eyes and folding both hands in front of her chest as Kai and Anika approached her. He was like asleep but actually he was contemplating something, maybe Rendra was unconscious when the two approached if only Kai did not greet him.
"Once Papa is asleep..." Said the Emperor while patting his eel.
Rendra immediately opened her eyes when she heard Kai's voice, "Are you ready? Papa doesn't sleep just crushes." Replied Rendra with a little joke.
"Basar Papa nih likes to bechanda pantes aja Mama want to be with Papa." Ledek Emperor who was immediately pinched by Anika who was standing next to him.
Anika who had just observed, finally opened her voice. "Kai, can you please get Mama's bag in Mama's room?" Anika's real question was more of a command line.
Kai did not immediately reply he was silent for a moment before replying, "Alright... Since today Mama is the Queen, Kai is ready to take orders from His Majesty!" The Emperor replied with a slight bow.
Anika just chuckled at her son's behavior, thinking it turned out that the ridiculous attitude of the Emperor decreased from Rendra. When the Emperor had gone to get his bag, Anika walked up to Rendra with a big smile and sat down beside him, her hand reaching for Rendra's hand before the middle-aged man said, "Don't get me wrong! I'm doing this not for us, but for the Emperor!" His voice was soft, but it sounded very cold.
Hearing the words from her Husband, Anika pulled back her hand with mixed feelings. He thought maybe this was a good start to improve their relationship. But yes, it is just Anika's feelings, but the reality is still different.
"Sorry..." Lirih Anika voiced.
As Anika wanted to continue her words, Kai came up with a little run, as if impatiently wanting to immediately enjoy the family dinner.
"We're leaving now?" Rendra asked after the Emperor handed the bag to his mother.
"Let's go!" The Emperor replied excitedly as he clenched his hands into the air.
The three immediately headed to one of the restaurants that are believed to serve good food.
Upon their arrival at the restaurant, Rendra wasted no more time, he immediately searched for an empty parking lot and parked his car there.
Judging from the appearance, the restaurant is a restaurant that has stood for quite a long time, but arguably quite crowded because it is famous for typical dishes from various regions, so many menu choices are served. But luckily Rendra had already booked a table for them so there was no need to worry about not getting to the place.
After finishing parking the car, the three prepared to get out of the car. But at the same time the sound of the phone rang as a sign of an incoming call, the sound coming from Anika's phone.
Anika reached into the contents of her bag to pick up the phone then she found that it was Anika's mother who called, then she turned to Rendra and Kai alternately then said, "You guys get down first, grandma called." Said Anika while showing her phone.
"Hurry up and we're hungry." Rendra nodded softly with a smile, but you know it was not a sincere smile he was performing in front of the Emperor. Anika nodded and returned that smile.
Rendra and the Emperor got out of the car and immediately entered the restaurant. The Emperor walked ahead of his Papa, when the Emperor arrived at the door of the restaurant, suddenly Kai accidentally bumped into someone middle-aged until that person fell.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it." Said the Emperor guiltily as he reached out to help the person to stand up.
"Ah gapapa deck." The man welcomed the Emperor's hand.
"What's Kai?" Rendra who had just caught up with the Emperor asked but when he turned to look at the other person before the Emperor he immediately looked up, his face showing that he was surprised. The person who was hit by the Emperor who was already standing was equally surprised when he saw Rendra. The two stared for a moment as Anika suddenly came after them.
"Why are you still here, not in yet?" Anika asked Rendra but realizing that the man was looking the other way, she looked in the same direction. Anika was very surprised even her face was a little pale when she saw the person her husband was staring at.
