The Unmissed Family

The Unmissed Family
Ballgame

At about eight in the evening, Rendra had already arrived at his house. Upon entering the house, Anika and the Emperor are enjoying the television show football. Of course, the most enjoyed is the Emperor, Anika only accompanied him while reading the novel despite the noise of the Emperor's shouts that were not clear to see his pride team almost scored but failed.

"The ramen..." Rendra spoke quite loudly, but unfortunately no one heard and realized Rendra was coming home.

"Wow! Manchester United playing apparently!" Rendra shouted loudly when he saw his pride team play. Anika and the Emperor reflexively turned their heads.

"Oh my goodness, Papa ngagetin knows!" The emperor protested while putting on a sullen face.

Anika took off her glasses when she saw Rendra then said, "New until Pa?"

"Yes just now." Answer Rendra

"I'll make you some warm tea first. Rest up!" Anika smiled then got up from her seat and walked towards the kitchen.

"Swipe!" Rendra approached the Emperor and told the boy to shift his seat so that Rendra could sit beside him.

The pair of father and son if they have dealt with the ball is already like peers, equally excited to see their respective pride teams compete.

"Manchester City must have lost!" Rendra's comments as he sat down and observed the match.

The Emperor glanced at Rendra, "Papa seems to forget, in this season Manchester City always win against Manchester United." The Emperor said with pride.

"It's pret!" Replied Rendra who was then met with laughter by the Emperor.

Rendra seemed to forget his fatigue while watching the ball with his son, for him moments like this are very dear to miss. So Rendra's real goal was not to see his pride team play but rather to make the Emperor happy and never think of feeling neglected. Yes, as bad as Rendra, he is a father figure who always prioritizes the interests of his son as busy as it is.

"Drink Pa's tea, take a shower." Anika said as she brought warm tea to Rendra.

"So soon Ma, the gig is over." Rendra answered her gaze remained focused on the television screen.

"GODDY!!!" The emperor stood up and exclaimed loudly as his pride team scored a last-minute goal.

Rendra was upset, "Hais!"

"Diminum Pa, ntar cold rush." Anika offered a cup of warm tea and received Rendra with a smile.

After drinking his tea while occasionally having a light conversation with Anika and the Emperor, Rendra stood up and said, "Well I take a bath first, then I'll take a break." He said he walked straight to his room.

Anika glances at the suitcase still lying in the tv room, then she picks it up and takes it to the room preparing to pick up Rendra's belongings from inside the suitcase.

"What's this?" Anika asked after opening the suitcase and saw that there was a large paper bag there.

"Bag?" He said again when he saw the contents of the paper bag.

Anika smiled happily, "Did Rendra buy this for me?" He tried to hold the bag and look at himself in the mirror.

"The taste is good too, so once he wants to buy something like this he usually prefers to buy clothes." Anika laughs amusedly.

"Ah there is still a look." Anika reached into the paper bag and took it out.

"Shirt? For girls?" Anika was astonished when she saw the contents. Yes, that's a dress for girls.

He saw the shirt more carefully unfurled before his eyes before finally Rendra's voice surprised him, "That's from my coworkers, my friend, she didn't know I had a boy so just bought a dress for a girl." Rendra said after coming out of the bathroom and saw Anika was observing the clothes in her hand.

Anika looked back where Rendra was, "So you didn't buy it?"

"Not." Reply Rendra briefly while drying his hair with a towel.

Anika's face immediately became gloomy because she thought it was Rendra who bought the item for her, and with a slightly disappointed feeling she took off the bag she was still wearing.

Rendra who saw Anika's facial expression said, "Do you think I want to buy something for you? Don't dream!" He said with a cynical smile.

"Even though in a dream, I've been happy Rendra." Anika smiled bitterly then put the bag on the bed before stepping out of her room.

When she was in front of the room, Anika stopped her steps and looked at the closed door, "How else should I explain to you Rendra." Anika said with a desperate look and left from there.
