Disillusioned

Rendra walked down the hospital corridor with mixed feelings, she was nervous and impatient to see Anika.

"I can't wait to see you, Ika." Rendra said with a smile.

Rendra asked where Anika's room to the hospital information section, when he found out Anika was in the ICU room and in a bad condition, Rendra was so shocked and hit.

"Critical science?" Lirih.

Without a second thought Rendra immediately headed for the room where Anika was with a small run.

"Well!" Rendra widened her eyes when she saw Anika lying unconscious with various medical equipment attached to her body. Rendra saw all that through the glass window and then without a second thought he immediately entered the ICU room.

"Why did you become like this?" Said Rendra after sitting on the bedside chair of Anika and tightly grasped Anika's left hand.

"Why didn't you tell me about your illness? Do you hate me that much?"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Rendra.

Rendra began to shed tears, "I beg you to get up, and punish me! Don't be quiet like this!" Rendra cried remembering what she had done to Anika.

"Well, wake up please..." When saying that sentence, Rendra felt like Anika's fingers were

holding moving.

Rendra was surprised, while wiping away her tears Rendra said, "I'm not wrong right? Your finger was moving You're aware Ika?"

"Wakeup! Don't try to lie to me, I just felt your own finger move, let's open your eyes Ika!" Said Rendra enthusiastically, but unfortunately there is no movement at all from Anika. The middle-aged woman still faithfully closed her eyes.

"In the meantime, I'll call the doctor." After saying so Rendra ran out of the room to call the doctor.

Moments later Rendra returns to Anika's room with a doctor. The doctor is none other than Revan, he began to check the state of Anika after being told by Rendra that Anika's finger was moving.

"Really doc? So Ika's situation is improving?" Rendra answered so happily.

Revan nodded slowly before saying, "Right, for now that's what I caught but I can't guarantee that this condition will improve onward, in some cases, this is a reflex response from a patient. But I hope the patient can wake up and recover." Revan again.

"Please help Ika doc, I wish you well." Answer Rendra.

Revan smiled back at Rendra, he then realized that he had just met Rendra this time.

With a little hesitation Revan finally asked, "Em, I'm sorry sir if I may know you..."

Rendra understood that Revan wanted to ask what, he reached out his hand and replied, "Ah I am Rendra Anika's husband." He said with a proud smile.

Revan is stunned to hear Rendra's reply, hesitatingly replying to Rendra's hand, "Oh I Revan, the doctor who handled Anika's mother." Revan said with an awkward smile. Knowing that Rendra was Anika's husband, Revan no longer called Anika as relaxed as before.

'Are they back together?' Inner Revan wondered.

There is a bit of disappointment to slip into Revan's heart knowing who Rendra really is. Because Revan does hold feelings for Anika, indeed the meeting time of Revan and Anika is fairly short, but somehow Revan who was just amazed at Anika's struggle slowly he began to love her and want to protect Anika and the Emperor.

"I'm sorry sir." Said Revan then who reciprocated a nod of the head by Rendra.
