The Unmissed Family

The Unmissed Family
The arrival of Rendra

It has been almost a week Anika was hospitalized and had chemotherapy, and during that time the Emperor had to go back and forth alone from home to take various needs and then back again to the hospital to accompany Anika, she only assisted Elena once in a while because the woman was also busy, so she could not help the Emperor every day.

"Ma, next week the Emperor wants a repeat of the class. Doain let everything go smoothly." That afternoon the Emperor was seen chatting with Anika while feeding Anika the apple she had just cut.

"Yes, my son must be Mama Doain, if you just go home you study at home, if you study here you will not focus." Answer Anika.

The Emperor clearly strongly rejected that opinion, however he would not let Anika alone in her current condition.

"No, the Emperor did not want to go home and leave Mama alone." The Emperor said while shaking his head repeatedly.

"No papa Kai, if you need anything you can call a nurse, or if you suddenly feel pain you can also press the emergency button." Anika answered while pointing at the emergency button located right near Anika's bed.

The Emperor let out a long sigh before saying, "Just Kai doesn't want to, anyways Kai has already taken it all. At school, Kai went home first to pick up a textbook that Kai would learn." His reply pointed at the large bag containing various textbooks that the Emperor had placed on top of the sofa of the room.

"Mama's son is sprightly in everything." Anika praised the Emperor while chuckling.

The Emperor was about to feed the apple again into Anika's mouth, but Anika took the fruit proffered to her to feed it into the Emperor's mouth.

"You haven't eaten yet." Anika said as she fed the apple into the mouth of the Emperor.

"Later on Ma." The young man replied while chewing the fruit.

Anika shook her head a few times before saying, "Mama don't want if you eat it late, later if you are sick who will take care of Mama?"

"Yes later Ma... The emperor hasn't rag-..." Not yet the Emperor replied, Anika already preceded.

"Fast eat or you don't want to eat!" Anika said firmly, she is very serious about her words.

"Yes Ma, the Emperor went to the cafeteria first." The Emperor replied lazily, then he went towards the cafeteria as he said.

After making sure the Emperor had actually left, Anika's expression suddenly changed, she looked like she felt such intense pain.

"Aw! It hurts so much." Anika whimpered in pain while holding the bottom of her stomach.

With trembling hands, he grabbed the painkiller the doctor gave him, who was on the table then drank it.

"Why do I feel like there hasn't been a significant change in a week, and I'm just getting weaker. My God, will my life not be long?" Said Anika, she looked desperate but she never showed it to the Emperor.

The emperor seemed to be done with his meal, then he walked back to Anika's room, but as he walked down the hospital corridor, it was like Rendra was there walking too.

"Papa? Do you want to visit Mama?" The Emperor said as he looked at Rendra who was walking from the opposite direction, there was a slight feeling of happiness touching his heart.

The Emperor waved his hand preparing to call Rendra, but he saw a woman approaching Rendra, so the Emperor abandoned his intention.

"It turns out my guess was wrong, Papa is still Papa who has now changed and never cared about Mama again." Said the Emperor while smiling wryly when he saw Rendra leaving with another woman who was none other than Rani.

Since the accident happened some time ago, Adel's daughter from Rani was also treated in the same hospital with Anika, so Rendra came to the hospital instead to visit Anika, instead visit Adel who he thinks is his own son.

Then the Emperor picks up the phone that was in his pants pocket, he re-examines the tape a few days ago where he finds out who Rani really is.

"I'll make sure you'll both be sorry soon, and when that happens never expect an apology from Mama!" The emperor said with a hunting breath.
