CHAPTER 48

Lexa POVs

I told Lexi everything that happened on Shikoku Island. Lexi was stunned when she heard that I met Rei Hirasaki.

"Is he the same person as the name mentioned by Leo Ahmad?!" Lexi said by opening her Notebook, and repeating the last Vidio Leo Ahmad.

Lexi continued to spin the Vidio over and over again, finally deciding that we should immediately retrieve the documents that were in the Golden Pavilion. Since tomorrow there was an event at the Golden Pavilion, we decided to come to the event. Lexi prepared all the necessary equipment, as well as me. I've already ordered a mask for me to use, it's not yet time for me to show myself in public. I also provide a mask for Lexi, so that she can easily move without knowing her identity.

My phone rang, I saw a message from Alan. I saw it was late at night, when we had just met this afternoon. I read the message he sent me, I don't understand the content of the message he gave. I ignored Alan's message, I'm back to preparing for tomorrow's event. If Rei Hirasaki really was the mastermind behind your death, I wouldn't let him go. I will make him feel the suffering we are suffering. I will destroy the business little by little and finally destroyed by nothing.

I called Aiko, told her to come to work tomorrow. Since Lexi and I would not be able to go to the company, Aiko asked her the reason and I said that Lexi and I would take the documents that Leo Ahmad had hidden. Hearing my words Aiko wanted to come with me, but I forbade her. I feel that tomorrow will be things that make us difficult. Aiko still insisted on coming, but I told her to meet the client. After meeting with the client she was free to do anything, Aiko agreed.

After finishing with the preparations for tomorrow, I decided to take a break. My phone kept ringing with some incoming messages, I saw it for a moment it was Alan. I don't know what he wants, I'm tired today and I decided to turn off my phone and go back to sleep.

"Lexa wake!" Lexi knocked on the door while shouting.

I was stunned because Lexi woke me up, I saw the clock was time to wake up. I went straight to the bathroom and cleaned up. After I was done with the routine of cleaning myself, I went out to see Lexi. He was ready in black clothes and so was I.

"I'm ready!"

Hearing my words, Lexi immediately got up from her seat. He told me to follow him, I followed him. Lexi was talking back about all the plans last night that she had planned. I've remembered everything in my brain, though just a quick glance Lexi explained my brain had recorded everything. When we finished we went to the Golden Pavilion, on the way Lexi did not say much. He was focused on what was planned and also he was still thinking about Rei Hirasaki.

"Do you think the Rei Hirasaki you met was the same person?!" Lexi's questions break the silence on the way.

"I don't know, I haven't been able to decide if he's the same person. To be sure, I felt something strange when I got close to him! I don't know what that feeling really is. We'll see, after we get the documents! Everything will be solved!"

Lexi keeps running the car, she keeps saying all the plans to run. He did not want the mission to fail this time, because the documents this time were very important to us. I listen to what he says all the time, sometimes I get tired of it. A little while later, we arrived at the Golden Pavilion. It turns out that sure enough, there are a lot of bodyguards and also the police.

"Lexy! Look at the strict guard! Can we get in?" I said to Lexi and she just smiled at me. Sometimes I get upset with his attitude like that, he always has a backup plan and that he just got.

Lexi told me to wear the clothes of a bodyguard, it turned out that she had prepared a pair of clothes for me and for her. I also wear it in the car as well as Lexi. We used all the equipment of a bodyguard, I used an earpiece to communicate with Lexi. I used sunglasses to help with my disguise, after we were done with the preparations as bodyguards.

"Wait on! Which division are you from?!" ask a bodyguard to me and Lexi.

"We're bodyguards from XGH company!"

It looks like Alan here, damn it! I have to be careful in my actions. Don't let him recognize me, if he recognizes me I'm sure he'll use it for things I don't want. I started walking in different directions with him, looking for a symbol.

Damn why Alan was in front of me and he came to me. I should get away from him, don't let him catch me. I had to be calm and proper, while looking at which path I was going through. I better head to the hallway on the left, and I walk straight into the hallway.

I fell down and a middle-aged man was in front of me, I looked up my head to find out who hit me. When he saw me, he was very surprised to immediately extend his hand to me. I accepted his hand and apologized for hitting him. Without saying much he told me to follow him, I don't know what he'll show me. Should I trust him? I was silent, I was still thinking whether I should follow him or not.

"Come with me! I know what you're looking for here!" the man told me, Lexi heard everything and said that I should follow him.

I followed him and gave Lexi a code to get to us. I arrived in a room, he told me to come in. I still think back, is this not a trap? I still can't completely trust this guy.

"Just calm! I wouldn't hurt her if you didn't believe me. We can wait for his twin brother!" He said with complete certainty. Does he know who we are.

I choose to wait for Lexi, if we're united at least we can protect each other. Moments later Lexi arrived, she approached us. After talking to the man, Lexi decided to enter the room. So will I follow where Lexi went.

After we entered the room, I saw this room was so neat and well maintained. Many books are obsolete but can still be read. Who exactly is this guy? Why would he know me and Lexi? Is he our friend or our opponent?
