CHAPTER 19

Alin POV's

Days change, weeks change, everything goes as usual. My routine hasn't changed, it's the same as in the days before. Our lives have been very quiet lately, there has been no movement from our enemies.

I don't know what they're planning, my heart still isn't calm, I'm afraid they're rolling back their plans to harm my family. If I keep thinking, I remember what Santi said. I keep praying that nothing bad happens to my family.

If I had to sacrifice, I would sacrifice myself for my husband and children. I want them to continue to live and be happy, I am willing to do all that. And strangely enough for a few days now, the kids always want to sleep with us. It seems like they don't want to be far away from us, nor do I want to be far away with them.

Today is the day that I have been waiting for, where today we are planning a dinner, which will be attended by my father and mother, Rio and Salma, Lili and Arata. They all gathered at home. It's gonna be fun in this house, 'cause they're all together.

It did not feel like time passed so quickly, one by one my brothers and friends came. They brought their little family, Salma and Mas Rio came with their father and mother and son. Lili also came with Arata and her beautiful daughter, Adam also arrived with Anna and Annisa. Ari also came with Aldo.

Every time I see Aldo, I feel sad I embrace him warmly. I love him like my own son, I don't discriminate with my two children. We all got together, we started dinner. The house is very crowded with children.

After dinner was over, it was time for us to sit in the living room, we were willing to joke, have a chat. There is no sadness, there is happiness. I'm happy to see the kids get together, they look happy. Since they had not seen each other for a long time, they shared their experiences with each other. And showing each of their skills, we only see those who are cool in telling stories.

I talked to Lili and Salma, I was all about my anxiety, about him constantly attacking me and my family. They heard what became my complaint. They can't do anything, can only give me spirit and do'a. I know they also have problems in their families, so we can only strengthen each other.

The three of us have rarely met, Lili who lives more often in Japan. While Salma went with Rio mas in Australia, because Rio mas holds a branch office father who is there. But we don't forget to tell each other, because we can't just walk away. Our bond is so strong, despite being separated by different distances and times.

Suddenly Alex gestured for everyone to notice him. He started to give out the information he wanted to give, before that he said a word or two. I kept watching him, our distance was neither too far nor too close.

She holds a red rose. After that he moved one by one foot, the first he lifted his left foot from the pedal of the wheelchair, after which he lifted his right foot. He began to stand up slowly, without anyone's help. I can't say anything about seeing Alex standing on his own.

He started to step by step, slowly but surely. He approached me with words, which made me happy. He was getting closer to me, he extended his hand to me. And give me a red rose.

I couldn't help my feelings, I hugged Alex tightly. I didn't feel my tears dripping down my cheeks, I still didn't think Alex could walk. Everyone who saw him was happy. Lexa and Lexi ran around, hugging Alex and me.

Not feeling the time getting late, everything began to say goodbye to go home. My house was getting quiet, back to the way it was, Lexa and Lexi had gone into their rooms. I went into my room and helped Alex change his clothes.

"Darling, since when have you been able to walk?" ask Alex.

"I was able to walk already there one week ago, I purposely kept it a secret from you! Because I want to surprise you, baby!"

I smile at Alex's words, I remember everything that just happened. He walked over to me, and gave me a red rose.

Days passed quickly, not feeling three months more than Alex announced he could walk again. Alex has been on the move like he used to, he has started going to the office. Before he went to the office, he took Lexa and Lexi, and I took the kids. After dropping the kids off, Alex took me to my office.

I've cleared up some paperwork I need to sign. There were some meetings I had to attend, I wasn't going to the office first, I wanted to be with Alex longer. I don't know why I don't want to be away from Alex, especially with the kids. What power I have is my work so much today

I feel sorry for Mr. Dim, who always handles all my work. Besides, now that Alex can walk again, I've been feeling this way for now. Today I have a lunch appointment with Alex, I'm waiting for Alex to pick me up at the office.

My phone rang, I saw my phone screen, unknown number. I just ignored the phone, because I didn't know him. A few minutes later the number called me again, I wondered who he really was.

Lift, "hallo...!"

"How are you doing, Alin? Do you still remember me?"

This voice, I know him! But no way, why would he dare to contact me. She hasn't called me in a long time, she knows where my number is? Because this number is a special number, which knows only certain people.

"Why are you silent? I want to meet you? Today, we have to meet!"

"There's nothing more we need to talk about, what are we meeting for?" I answered him, because I didn't want to see him.

"There's still so much to talk about! Otherwise your children will receive the consequences!"

He threatened me, using the kids! What the hell is he really doing? It's not enough what he's done to us. He was not satisfied that he made us suffer. What else does he want from us. A few minutes later, he sent me a picture. The photo was of my children tied up in a car.

"What did you do to my children! Untie them! They are innocent! All you want is me, let them go! I'll meet you!"

He hung up his phone, and sent out the location of their existence. I tried to call Alex but he didn't pick her up, I called Ari, just as they might be busy. I'll let them know later after arriving at the location.
