CHAPTER 43

Aiko POV's

After Lexa and Lexi discover who's behind Aunt Alin's death. They decided to return to Japan, because there they had to find documents left by Leo Ahmad. Actually I also want to go back to Japan, but not yet the time to go back there. I have to finish the job Lexa gave me.

I have to take care of some work in Paris, maybe after my work is done I can go back to Japan. I don't think there are so many enemies who want to destroy Lexa's company. Sometimes I feel sad when I see Lexa and Lexi, in addition to taking care of the company they also have to find their enemies. The enemy that left Madame Alin dead, I sometimes think, the one who wants to destroy the company is the same person who planned the murder of Ms. Alin.

"Aiko when are you going to Paris?" ask Yuki to me.

I answered Yuki's question, "tomorrow! Lexa and Lexi will return to Japan tomorrow! What about you Yuki?"

Finally I arrived in Paris, I went straight to the hotel I had booked. I don't know why I feel bad, if something will happen. Will this task provoke the enemies to pursue me. If that's true, don't expect them to get rid of me so easily. I'll never give up on what I've got. For today I better rest first and tomorrow I will start checking everything. Just look at you guys who are already intent on destroying the company! I'll make you regret it.

The next day, I was already preparing to go to the subsidiary. Before leaving I received word from Lexa that she had an accident and is now in hospital. I was so surprised that they started launching their attacks again. Lexa thought that the one who attacked my family was her enemy, but she was wrong because my father also had an enemy who wanted to take her down.

Father's enemies once put me and my mother in danger, but Madame Alin saved us. Until now the enemy father has not run his tricks, maybe he feels that he is safe and harmed mother. Once my job is done I'll get back at them and I'll drive the brand in jail. I'm grateful that Lexa and Lexi are already in Japan, they can protect mom and dad.

I immediately went downstairs, because there was a driver waiting for me. The shareholders meeting is about to begin, get ready. On my way to the streets, I thought that if it wasn't on my work trip I wanted to take Lexa and Lexi on vacation. But for now it is not possible to take a vacation. There's still a lot to do.

It didn't take long, I've arrived at the company. The employees greeted me with respect, they knew that I was the representative of Lexa and Lexi. I went straight to the meeting room, they were waiting for me. In my hands is already a document that will make them think a thousand times to destroy Lexa and Lexi's company.

I went in, and they were gathered. I saw their gazes humbling me, they thought I couldn't be cruel. I already have the power to make a decision today, Lexa gave her power to me specifically today. As I sat down, they began to launch all their attacks in a row, even very dirty words spewed from their mouths. Those words did not match the position they held this time.

After they finished with the argument, I spoke. One by one I took out an ace that left them dumbfounded. They were really surprised by what I said, all the data I gave them all made them speechless. I began to put emphasis on them, if they repeated it again and tried to mess up. I will not forgive them one bit.

They were silent, afraid of their faces. I can only smile wryly looking at them, you think you can easily destroy Lexa and Lexi. Don't expect, you've just faced me like this let alone facing Lexa and Lexi. I guarantee you guys will be pissed off.

After finishing the meeting that made me laugh wickedly, they finally agreed that they would not throw a tantrum. And they will try to advance the company. I was as good as the one they chose, because it was the right choice. And also lighten my work, so I can go back to Japan. To see Mom and protect everyone I'm supposed to protect.

While walking towards the woman who was being surrounded, I watched closely. It turned out that the middle-aged woman could martial arts, but I couldn't just let it go. Their numbers were not balanced, I immediately ran after seeing the woman fall due to the blow of one of the criminals.

The middle-aged woman woke up and attacked the criminals again, we worked together to beat them one by one. I did not expect this middle-aged woman to be so great, even though she looked so motherly. After fighting fiercely, they fell down one by one. I thought they were so great that I was wrong, they were far below me.

Finally this middle-aged woman took me to her house, she offered me lunch. Since I was starving I agreed to it, after all, she's Indonesian like Lexa and Lexi. Surprisingly I did not feel any sign of danger to this middle-aged woman. I was at the house of the woman I saved. Big enough house in my opinion, but it looks lonely, maybe her son and husband are working.

I also traced every inch of this house, I saw all the photos displayed so beautiful and neat. My eyes focused on one of the frames on a brown wooden table, a table that had very beautiful carvings. The third photo of the hijab girl and I recognized one of the girls in the frame. She is Alin's mistress, who exactly is this middle-aged woman I laid out?
