CHAPTER 183

The Hinoto POV

I didn't think Rosetta would act this cruel, she used to be a very good woman. Why could he turn out to be this evil, what actually turned him into this. Because I'm not sure just the rejection I gave her could turn her even worse.

"Can't you stop all this Rosetta?!" ask me with a high note.

Bugs! Bugs! I managed to escape the clutches of Rosetta's bodyguards. After hitting them, I ran towards Lexa quickly holding her hand. I almost lost her, I tried to pull her hand. It takes a great struggle to lift it up.

Some bodyguards showered me with their kicks, not how long I heard police sirens. Maybe it was Lexi who found this location and called the police.

The sound of warning shots, as soon as they stopped their activities kicked me. So that I can pull Lexa, all of Rosetta's men are taken down.

"How are you doing, baby?!" I asked Lexa.

She looked weak then she said softly, "I can't stand it anymore—save our baby!"

Lexa was unconscious after saying that to me, I shouted for someone to call an ambulance. Lexi ran up to me and she asked Lexa. I told him to immediately call an almbulance.

Rosetta's laughter was so blaring, she was so happy with what happened to Lexa. He pulled a firearm from under his shirt.

"You think even if there's a cop here it'll deter him my intention to finish you all off!!" Rosetta said with complete confidence.

Dor's!

Reheard a warning shot from a policeman, he told Rosetta to lower his gun otherwise they would shoot him without warning again.

However, Rosetta does not give up she is still with her desire for us. Just as he was about to fire his bullet, there was a bullet coming out of the police firearm. Not once but heard twice. So Rosetta's body crashed and fell from the top of this old building.

I didn't care about Rosetta, after which I carried Lexa and ran out of the building because the ambulance had arrived. As the medical team quickly checked on Lexa, the ambulance made its way to a nearby hospital.

My heart hurts so much to see Lexa like this, if I could just save her sooner maybe none of this would have happened. I pray that the child in Lexa's womb is okay with Lexa's condition.

When we were in the hospital, he was taken to a room for further examination. I was just waiting outside with a sense of uncertainty. I'm really scared if anything happens to him because I don't want to lose him.

I really love her and want to live longer with her, not how long Lexi and the others arrive. They asked how Lexa was doing. All I can say is one, "Lexa's still inside."

"Pacify yourself—Lexa is a strong woman, she will definitely be safe and will be back with us!" dad told me.

Maybe you want to calm me down, I remember Rosetta. I asked Lexi what it was all about, and she told me Rosetta was gone. All his men have been caught so no one else will bother us.

"What about the spies in our house?!" I asked Lexi.

"You take it easy, I've caught the spy! He's a waitress who was sent from the beginning by Rosetta." she replied to me.

That means what I think about Rein and Isamu is wrong, apparently they're not cooperating with Rosetta for her revenge plan.

Now that I can calm down, I better focus on Lexa. A doctor came out of the room treating Lexa. I asked her how Lexa was doing.

Doctors say if Lexa makes it through tonight, her life and the baby in her womb could be saved. Now all you have to do is pray that Lexa and the baby are safe.

Next day.

"How are you doing, baby?" I asked Lexa who was sitting while enjoying the cut fruit in the bowl.

He smiled and said, "I've improved and I want to get back home soon."

I'm grateful that she woke up and our baby could survive, you're my wife and baby-to-be. From today on I won't let anyone hurt my family.

Lexa just keeps forcing her to come back home because she thinks she's improving. He wants to attend Aldo and Akiko's wedding, for him it will only happen once and for a lifetime.

Because the wedding of Aiko and Aldo in retreat but still will be implemented in the near future. And make sure their wedding is tomorrow.

We were home, everyone said Lexa was coming home with a big smile. It looks warm and makes anyone who sees it happy.

Zeroun who saw Lexa running straight towards her, hugged her tightly while saying things so made Lexa happy that she shed tears of happiness.

After Lexa's welcome home, everything returns to its usual routine. All seemed busy as tomorrow was Aldo and Aiko's wedding day. While Lexa was not allowed to move too much, she was only allowed to rest inside her room.

All of that upset her a little but I said all of that for the good of her and the baby in her womb. He understands and will obey everything I say.

Moments later Zeroun and Rosalina enter the room, saying they will look after Lexa. I smiled with these two boys who seemed happy with Lexa's pregnancy. Maybe I can trust Lexa to these two boys.

"Listen to me my hero—you take care of Mother so that she does not misbehave!" I whispered to him as if this was an order.

Zeroun smiled then he stood up straight and saluted as he was ready to do as I commanded. After that I went back out to help Lexi and Dad get ready for Aldo and Aiko's wedding.

The wedding day has arrived, everything has been carefully prepared even though it only takes a few days. This sacred marriage went well. No drama causes anger.

I don't know what would happen if Rein knew of this marriage, maybe he would be very furious. However, for sure it will be a test for Aldo and Aiko's household.

"Darling, everyone seemed happy except for the two brides!" lexa told me.

"Are you not sure, baby? I'm sure if they'll fall in love and they'll be happy with the wedding." I answered while peeking at his lips.

Lexa smiled at me because I had stolen a kiss from her, then she said that she was very confident that Aldo and Aiko's marriage would result in a happy marriage. Both of them had to go through some conflicts.

He asked me what about Rein and Isamu if he found out about this marriage. Maybe they'll cause trouble but for sure they'll lose to Aldo and Isamu I told Lexa.

"We better join them, we should be happy, right?" I said to Lexa as I stretched out my hand and she accepted my helping hand with her gentle smile.

Alex POVs

Happiness came back to my family, even though there had to be sadness before. Although I felt unsettled by the following days. I will always be grateful to enjoy this happiness.

'Honey, can you see all this? Aldo, who you always thought of as your third son, is married to the woman you chose. I didn't think what you said about Aiko was the right woman for Aldo. It's all true but baby you can't see all this together with me, ' my inner self.

"Sir, I thank you for everything you have done for me and Aldo. I don't know if there's no Mr and certainly Mrs Alin." Ari said in a sad tone.

"You don't have to say that, if Alin hears that then he'll beat you up so he can't get up again!" I answered him while chuckling.

I told Ari that everything done by me or Alin to Aldo was proof of our affection. From the first time Alin met Yuki he told me that Yuki was the woman who would be Aldo's partner later on. I said that to Ari.

Ari was confused as to what I was saying, so I had to explain it in detail to her. Before Alin's departure for all eternity, she once told me that she would make Aldo and Aiko unite with the bond of marriage.

However, I cannot impose my will on the two of them. I gave both of them the opportunity to choose their life partner and ignored Alin's wishes.

However, the opportunity turned out to be suffering. And finally I decided to marry them both according to Alin's expectations. And apparently Alin had talked about all the things he wanted to propose Aiko to Aldo to Aiko's parents. They agreed to Alin's wishes.

This boy is so active that I always have to obey what he wants. I followed him and wanted to know what he was going to show me.

Looks like a red rose, the red color is so beautiful. When I saw this rose I was reminded of Alin, he once said to me.
