Aiko Part 8

Aiko POV's

Why did Aldo tell me to go after Isamu, did he not want me as his wife. So easy was he to say all that, I knew he didn't love me so much as I did. But I try to open my heart to him.

The phone rang so it shook my desk, looking at the screen of the phone apparently the mother who contacted me. Mom asked me to meet her this afternoon at my dad's company, there's something to talk to me about.

I walked into Lexa's room with some files that had to be marked. Knocking on the door of his study, he heard a voice telling him to come in. I went in and walked over to him who was sitting on his chair.

"This time I'm going to mom's company" I told Lexa while handing over the documents for her examination.

Lexa asked me back if there was a problem in the company, I said if mom wanted to talk to me about anything. She smiled and told me to hurry to go see my mother, however much she needed me.

I left Lexa's room, headed to the study and took the bag. I saw Aldo was busy with his work. I better not bother him, anyway I'm still annoyed at him who has spoken at will.

Because I didn't bring a car so I took a taxi, on my way to mom's company. I thought back to whether it was time for me to stop helping Lexa and focus on the company that my father had left behind.

Get me in the company, every employee who sees me salutes. A receptionist led me to my mother's room, after which she returned to her place to continue her work.

"How are you, ma'am?" I asked while hugging him tightly.

"Mom's fine, you haven't visited Mom in a few days" she replied, asking me.

With a smile I said after returning from Korea straight to work because I have a lot to take care of. Mom told me she wanted to talk about something important and told me to sit on the couch with her.

"What's wrong, ma'am?" my many.

"Mom's tired—can you run this company of your father's!" Mother replied in a sad tone.

I knew for sure this was going to happen, seeing a mother who looked tired with all this work. Ever since I didn't have a mom to take care of all the company, I told you I had to run the company.

However, I wasn't ready yet because every look at Dad's workspace made me feel sad. So that I could not afford to linger in the company of my father but now I am not like before. I don't want to make you sick from exhaustion.

"Well—I'll run this company, give me a few days to take care of everything before I leave Lexa!" I said to mom.

"I'm sorry Mom—because it made you have to choose this! I know you can't just leave Lexa's company but your father's company needs you, baby!" Mother said with my hand.

With a smile I told my mother that if all this had become an obligation, I could not just leave. How also this company is the work of the father from long ago until the end of his life. Where could I just let it go.

"Do you know why he wanted to kill your father?!" ask mommy.

The question surprised me, why could I ask her like that. Did mom know what I didn't know. I shook my head indicating I didn't know the reason he wanted to finish dad off because all I know isamu did was because I didn't want you to tell me about Isamu's affair with Rein.

Mom handed me a brown envelope and told me that mom had just found it in my dad's study at home. I opened the envelope, slowly reading what was written inside.

How surprised I was by the contents of the envelope, all of it was an act of evil committed by Isamu. All the cheating Isamu did, everything he did inflicted a huge loss. Even he was being searched by some people.

"Can I bring this?!" I asked my mother to bring the envelope that I found.

Mom nodded as all the talk was over I told mom to go back to Lexa's company. Maybe tomorrow I'll let Lexa know if I'm gonna quit her company and take control of the company you left behind.

On the way home, I felt bad. I'm tired of everything that's happened in these few days. I was not enough to rest on my return from Korea. I better get back to the apartment to rest while Aldo works, I call Lexa and tell him not to go back to the company. And also told her not to tell Aldo if I went straight back to the apartment.

I told the driver to change the location of my destination, he turned towards the apartment. Upon arrival at the apartment I threw my body on the bed, really today was so tiring even though I only run half of today.

What I don't think is about Isamu, why did he do all that? Is all he wants is the company of the father and then just destroy it. Hinoto did not know well from his best friend.

I woke up feeling shocked at Aldo's touch, he was already beside me. He said, "Continue sleeping—I'll accompany you!"

Aldo touched my forehead gently, checking my temperature. He apologized to me for what he said in the office this morning. I smiled at him and said no need to think about it but it was true that I was still upset with him.

However, with his attitude like this makes me feel happy. He apologized after being in the apartment. That's a sign he can see a good situation to solve personal problems.

"Honey—I'll stop working at Lexa's company" I told him as I got out of bed.

He was surprised by what I said then he asked, "Why do you want to stop?!"

I stood up, walked to the bag lying on the couch and picked up the envelope I found in my dad's reading room. Walking closer to Aldo who was still sitting on the bed. I thrust the brown envelope I had in my hand at her.

Aldo was confused by what I had left him with, his gaze hinting at what was this? I told him to open and read the contents of the envelope. He opened it and read it carefully.

Angry looks from his facial expression after reading the contents of the envelope, he said he did not expect Isamu to be able to do all this. Aldo said if all this evidence could be given to the authorities—then Isamu would be languishing in the bars.

"If he keeps bothering us and the Lexa— family then I'll turn him over to the authorities!" I told Aldo with confidence.

"Well, if it's your decision, I'll support you and always be behind you!" Aldo said that as he approached me and hugged me.

I told her not to be behind me but to be by my side forever. She smiled then kissed my lips gently, for some reason my mind was lost on Azura. I felt guilty for misunderstanding him.

Do I have to find out more about what happened to Azura and Isamu? What I was thinking. In front of Aldo, he is my husband now and forever. Because today convinced that he is a good man, after all, Madame Alin has severed our relationship from before. And I'm sure that Ms. Alin's choice will never go wrong.

I'd rather forget all the past, now all I have to do is live happily with Aldo. Trying to make him fall in love with me and I had to start loving Aldo until the end of my life.

"Are you hungry?" Aldo whispered to me.

She smiled and said she would cook something for me while walking out of the room. I will try to love you Aldo until the end of your life you will always be the man in my heart.
