CHAPTER 118

The Still Lexa POV

I didn't think that she had prepared a dress for me, I wondered when she would prepare a dress for me. Because I don't see him out of the house or somebody delivering stuff.

I better get ready first after that and then I ask her about this dress. There's no way this is another woman's dress left in the apartment.

"You ready?!" Hinoto asked me with her gentle smile.

"When did you prepare this dress? It doesn't belong to another woman, does it?" I said with an investigative tone.

He just smiled at my words, sometimes I was annoyed by his attitude. When I was serious he responded with a smile. But if I was joking he looked cold.

He stepped closer to me, I stared at him until he was right in front of me. He just looked at me with both of his eyes radiating warmth. It looks like his smile is so blind all the women will bend their knees, but if they know the cold nature then no one will be able to survive. That's my opinion of it.

"That dress is special I bought for you dear," said Hinoto, smiling and gently stroking my hair.

"When did you buy it?" I asked again out of curiosity.

"I bought some dresses when I took care of you who were sick first, do you remember?" answer Hinoto.

I remember again, right also once I fell notbsadsrkan myself. When I woke up already here, it was better that I didn't ask him again.

"I'm ready, let's go." I told her.

She smiled and took my hand, we stepped out of the apartment together. We got into the car, he was running his car slowly. I sat next to him and looked at the road we were walking on.

I woke up from my daydream when the car came to a standstill, I opened my eyes to see a familiar environment. Apparently this is my own home page, I turned to the side to look for answers from Hinoto.

He just smiled and said, "Dad wants us to have lunch together at home."

I fell silent for a moment and thought, Why did you contact him? Am I not his daughter? Has he forgotten her? All those questions came to my mind.

"Let's get down, Daddy's waiting for us!" Hinoto said then he got out of the car.

I opened the car door and walked into the house, seeing some servants and bodyguards waiting for me to arrive.

"How's Hinoto? Did you enjoy it last night?" Lexi asked Hinoto in a seductive tone.

I walked straight to my room, I knew Lexi would say that. Rather than listening to her jokes I would rather wait for everything to be ready in the room. I thought Hinoto was going to have a conversation with Lexi, but I saw her come into my room.

"What's? Why do you see me like that? Are you teasing me?" hinoto said to me with a perverted smile.

I took a breath, why was he so confident. Was that all that was on his mind, was there nothing else he was thinking about right now.

His phone rang, he picked up the phone it looked very clear if it was a very important thing. I sat on the couch playing with my phone, and I saw an email coming in from Aiko. I opened it and then I read the email, it turned out to be a document that I had to check. When I'm done checking, Aiko will prepare the documents for me to sign my signature.

"Honey, maybe in a few days I can't go back home." Hinoto said with a sigh.

"There's a mission, 'is it?" ask her.

He shook his head, saying that this time it was about his business. I just found out that he also has a business, I asked him about the business he was in. He told me about his business in hospitality.

"Tomorrow I'll go, you're fine at home huh! Remember not to be tempted by your ex!" Hinoto said seriously but at the end of the sentence made me chuckle.

I walked to the door to see who was knocking on the door. I opened the door, I saw a waiter. He said that dad and Lexi were waiting for me at the dinner table. I nodded and told him to come back to finish his job.

"Come, Dad and Lexi are waiting for us downstairs!" I took Hinoto to the dinner table.

We walked to the dining room, it was true that they were waiting for me. Hinoto shifted the chair while telling me to sit down. I smiled and sat down next to my father, Hinoto sitting next to me.

I glanced at Lexi who was smiling looking at Hinoto's treatment of me as well as my father. The two of them were really like little children who had just seen a scene like this.

I looked at Lexi with a sharp look with the meaning that she stopped laughing at me. The name I did did not work, even making him chuckle.

"Stop Lexi! Don't you keep flirting with your sister!" said the father who made firm. But it still sounded if he was holding back his laughter.

After lunch, he asked us to sit in the living room. Now that our family has grown to one, Hinoto, she always sits beside me.

"Dad wants to tell you something, because there's nothing you need to worry about anymore. So my father decided to return to Indonesia. Father will live the rest of his life with all the memories of your Mother in Indonesia. If Lexi's getting married, I'll be back with you!" Father said with sadness.

I was speechless hearing what Dad said, I was still not satisfied being by his side. I don't want you to go back to Indonesia and leave me. I still want to see her always at home when I get back. I have always wanted to be close to him, but I cannot be selfish either.

"Why should you go back to Indonesia? Is there not also a memory of Mother? Are we not always with Mother? Don't I deserve Daddy's love anymore?" The question I asked left everyone speechless.

Was I wrong to say all that, was I too selfish. Hinoto held my hand tightly, while stopping me with the question I had just presented.

"Lexa, can't you filter your words? Don't you understand what you're saying, it'll make you sad?" Lexi said very firmly to me.

I was stunned as to whether what Lexi said was true. That all my questions make dad sad. I saw my father get up from his seat and walk to his room.

"Darling, meet Dad! She must be so sad!" hinoto told me.

As I walked into my room, I thought back to what I had told my father. It may be true what Lexi said, I made you sad.

I knocked on Dad's door, then a voice came from inside the room that allowed me to enter. I saw Dad sitting on the sofa holding the picture frame of Mother. I feel guilty for saying something so rude to my father.

"Dad I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings! If you want to go back to Indonesia, I'll let you. I'm not going to forbid you from doing anything that's important is being happy." I said to my father with tears.

He smiled and told me to sit next to him. I sat down beside my father, without saying a word, and he hugged me tightly.

"Listen to me baby, you are my beloved daughter! I do not want to leave you, but I want to live quietly with all your Mother's memories! I've calmed down since you're married to Hinoto, he's a nice guy and can take care of you. While Lexi she still has to pursue her love, but I'm not worried about her because I'm sure she can!" Dad said softly to me and I knew there was sadness from a voice that sounded so soft.

I hugged Dad back and said, "I love you so much."
