CHAPTER 154

Lexi POVs

After a few days I didn't call my father and neither did my father contact me. I'd better call Dad and apologize to him.

"Darling, let's have breakfast!" himawari said to me gently.

There was something strange about Himawari this morning, I don't know what happened to her. I'd better get to the dining room because Lexa and Hinoto must have been waiting there.

I walked towards the dining room, shocked to see my father sitting in the chair he used to sit in. He smiled when he saw me approaching the dinner table, and I smiled at him.

Since when is dad in Japan, why don't I know dad's coming. Himawari smilingly looked at me, I was sure that she already knew that dad was home but she didn't tell me.

"When did you get home?!" I tried to dare to ask my father.

"Last night" replied Dad briefly.

After answering a question from me, dad said to start breakfast this morning immediately. A waiter began to sing breakfast that was already on the table.

Breakfast as usual, I like it when everyone gathers like this. Maybe after breakfast I'll talk to dad and apologize for my childlike attitude.

Dad told me and Lexa to go to the reading room after breakfast because there was something you wanted to tell us. I nodded and followed my father from behind as well as Lexa.

"You know what you're gonna tell us?!" I asked Lexa.

He shook his head meaning he didn't know what father was going to tell us. However, I don't care what matters today I'll apologize to dad.

Lexa and I walked into the reading room where there was a father, Ari's assistant and Aldo. Apparently it's all gathered together, actually what you want to tell me.

"Sit down!" dad's orders are to me and Lexa.

After we sat down Ari's assistant gave me some documents as well as Lexa. I read the document, how surprised I was about the contents of the document.

It turns out that all this was planned by the mother before nothing, if everything is like this I can not argue. Maybe you have calculated everything.

"Why didn't you tell me everything yesterday?" I asked dad.

"I haven't confirmed everything yet and also to test yourself, whether or not you'll get mad at me!" Father replied with a firm tone.

I smiled hearing dad say that, because what you said was all true. Because I don't want you to just forget you, my judgment is wrong with you.

"I'm sorry I misjudged Dad!" I said to my father and then I saw his warm smile.

Lexa patted me on the shoulder and said I should not misunderstand my father. I saw Aldo and Ari's assistant smiling at me and I made up.

"I'm still curious about Rosetta?!" Lexa said while wanting to know the answer from anyone who knew the answer.

"What do you want to know about him?" Father asked back.

"Actually he's either Himawari's cousin or not? Why did he act so cruelly towards his mother Himawari and Rein?!" answer Lexa with a return question.

That's also what I want to know about Rosetta staring at her can be mean to Himawari, mother and also Rein. If he really was a good cousin then he wouldn't have acted that way.

"If you want to know, then tonight I'll invite Rosetta this afternoon home!" Father replied in a serious tone.

I'm a little surprised if Rosetta is in Japan, whether father and Rosetta go to Japan together.' Arrgghhhh stop this Lexi, I exist only for mother, my inner being.

After saying that Lexa agreed with me, maybe I thought I should do this because either me or Lexa should know how Rosetta really is.

"Then I'll wait for Rosetta's arrival! I'll be in the room if my need is in the room!" Lexa said she said goodbye to Dad and left us all.

I asked Aldo to come with me because I had something to talk to him about. He was willing to come with me and I said goodbye to Dad. After my father let me go, I stepped outside my reading room followed by Aldo.

I decided to sit in the garden because this place is so beautiful in the morning. I don't know why I'd rather see this park in the morning.

"How's your investigation into Rosetta?" I asked Aldo.

Because before I went to Japan I had Aldo investigate Rosetta. Then Aldo said if he couldn't find more information there was only information I had.

So who exactly is he? So that all data about it is so closed tightly. All I know is that if the data is hard to find, he's a secret agent like Himawari.

Whether Rosetta is a secret agent like Himawari and Hinoto, I have to find out everything about her. I don't know why I still feel like there's something weird about him.

After talking to Aldo, I decided to go back to the room. While waiting for Rosetta to come home, I was impatient to know about her and why she was being mean to her mother, Himawari and Rein.

"Darling, did you know that Rosetta was in Japan?" ask Himawari who is reading a novel while sitting on the sofa.

"No" answered Himawari.

And then he asked me about Rosetta, and I told him that this lion Rosetta was going home. Dad told her to go home. Because either me or Lexa want to know the truth about Rosetta.

When I arrived at the living room I saw that everything was gathered, Rosetta looked with her smile without sin. However, I saw something else with Rosetta this time.

"Sit down!" Dad said to me, I sat down with Himawari next to Lexa and Hinoto.

Seeing that everything was gathered together, I started talking. And I told Rosetta to start telling me everything. I see Lexa already wanted to ask first. However, Himawari asked first.

"What is your purpose? And who are you really?" Himawari asked Rosetta in a cold tone.

Rosetta smiled then said, "I have no purpose whatsoever and I am your cousin."

"If you're his cousin— why did you act evil to his mother and his sister Himawari?!" Lexa asked Rosetta in a cold tone as well.

Rosetta says everything she did to protect Himawari, mother and Rein. If he did not do all that then his father would make them suffer even more could finish off Rein who was still in school abroad.

Himawari was so surprised to hear Rosetta's explanation, maybe she did not expect that the woman who always issued these spicy and painful words was so protective of the safety of mother, Rein and herself.

"Are you a secret agent?!" I asked because it was always on my mind.

"You are indeed the son of Mrs Alin and Mr. Alex, so you can guess who I really am." Rosetta replied casually.

I saw Lexa was just quiet, maybe she already knew the truth because it looked awkward to me. After dad said that, dad walked away leaving me and the others. He went to the reading room with Ari's assistant.

"Lexa, do you know about this?!" I asked Lexa who was still sitting next to me.

"Iya— I already know," he replied.

"Why don't you say this, Hinoto?!" Himawari asked Hinoto.

I saw Hinoto speechless, and then he replied that all of this must be covered. Because Rosetta asked him to keep everything a secret. He himself wanted to tell us everything.

Himawari left us after getting an answer from Hinoto. I know he must have been very surprised and disappointed but all of this probably should have happened.

"Go— accompany, Himawari!" Lexa said to me.

Then he left with Hinoto, maybe the two of them will also talk about this matter. Arrgghhhh I don't know, I'd better accompany Himawari.

Before catching up with Himawari to the room, I told Aldo to prepare everything to start a job in a Japanese company.

"Come with me for a minute!" Dad said and walked away leaving me.

Himawari nodded as she let me go, I followed my father from behind. I thought you were going to take me to the reading room, apparently you took me to the back porch.

I sat in a chair facing the garden, and I started talking. Dad wants me to take care of a company matter with Lexa right away.

"What's wrong with the company? Hasn't everything gone well!" ask me dad.

"There's an enemy of the father who wants to destroy the company, maybe he thinks that the father's two children are not able to fight it." Father answered with certainty.

"Alright— I'll start work tomorrow morning! And I'll protect Lexa and Dad's company." I told my father with complete confidence that I could protect what I thought was important.

The next day I was in the company, Aldo had all the information I needed. I told him to find out who's already intending to destroy dad's company.

Aldo nodded then he walked out of my room to carry out my orders. Then I came back with the notebook on the table. As Aldo checked everything about my enemies, I started surfing the internet.

I haven't been hacking for a long time, I better find some information about Rosetta. If Aldo can't find her information, then I'll find out for myself.

It's also to convince myself of Rosetta, for some reason I still can't trust her completely. It might also be due to seeing his bad attitude towards Himawari and his family.

"What have you found?!"

Then he said he would wait for me to get all that information. I said to her, "Are you no other job than waiting for me?!"

"No!" answer's short.

I already know him if he wants to know something, he can wait for hours. Actually my nature and my nature are the same, which is if you want to know something then you have to find out until you get it.

I was finally able to go in and find all the information about Rosetta. And I found out all the missions that Rosetta was doing, how shocked I was to see the information.
