CHAPTER 175

Lexa POVs

I looked at a photo from the phone screen, looking at a boy I missed so much. This heart calmed down just by looking at his sincere smile, there were no lies within it.

"You miss him?" Hinoto asked me while sitting at the side.

"Yes," I answered briefly and then looked back at Zeroun's picture.

Hinoto hugged me softly then she said if everything was done, it could go back to Tokyo. He asked me what I wanted to do today. Because he wants to give me one today and tomorrow he will take care of all his work.

I remembered an address given by the taxi driver and I wanted to visit right where the children needed help. Maybe if I could help them.

"Darling, I want to go somewhere!" I said to Hinoto and then I showed him an address.

"Alright— get ready, we're leaving now.

After getting ready, I went with Hinoto to the address I wanted to visit. On the way Hinoto was just silent, I felt that there was something he was thinking about but I didn't know what it was.

"Darling, what are you thinking?" I asked Hinoto gently so that she would not feel that I was forcing her too much to tell a story.

He smiled and said if everything was okay, I don't know why I felt he was telling the truth. Maybe I'll ask later if all my business this time is done.

Get us where we're going, an address the taxi driver gave us that night. I didn't expect there to be a building like this in the middle of the city. As I walked into the building, there was the sound of babbling children from inside the building.

"Darling, are you sure about all this?" Hinoto is fighting for me to convince myself.

I nodded then ventured to knock on the door, when I was already knocking on the door. I heard the voice of someone opening the door.

When the door opened there was a little girl with such a sweet smile. He asked me what I needed and who I wanted to meet. Hearing that I said I wanted to meet her brother.

The little girl told me to come in and she told me to wait a little while because she was going to call her brother. When the little girl left, I saw the whole room was irregular. A lot of kids play with toys.

The situation here is so very unsupportive to raise children. Is this real? Why if I look like this I am reminded of the foundation in Indonesia that my mother founded.

When I saw them play, I felt no tears dripping down my cheeks. I can't bear to see them like this, if you see this it will surely give a decent life for all of them.

"Darling," Hinoto woke me up.

He held my hand while wanting to give me strength, he knew what I was thinking. He says if I want something, then he will try to fulfill it.

"You're coming, Miss." A man's voice came from behind me.

He bowed in honor and introduced himself, his name was Kotaro. After introducing himself he took me somewhere. Hinoto and I followed him from behind.

Kotaro stopped in a closed room and opened the door. He told me to go into the room, really surprised me when I saw what was going on in there.

Inside were two babies sleeping, I didn't think the man who attacked me that night could take good care of both babies. Although the equipment he possessed was not as complete as others.

"Do you take care of all of them? Since when have you guys done all this?!" I asked them everything in this room.

"Miss, before I apologize— for attacking Miss that night." A man bowed while apologizing.

Hinoto looked surprised to hear all that, then in asked what was really going on. I told him what happened that night. After hearing all that she sighed, then told me why I didn't tell her everything.

I told Hinoto, being so upset with her that I didn't tell her all about it. With a quipped tone, she seemed to smile feeling guilty towards me.

"Ohh, so Miss beat us all up too for an outpouring of resentment towards your husband?!" chirp a young man who looks still easy among others.

Hearing that I chuckled because what he said was so laughable. A friend of hers patted her on the head signifying that it was inappropriate to say that.

"Yes— I'm upset, just try it if I'm angry, maybe you'll all run out!" I said with a teasing tone.

Everyone chuckled again especially Hinoto, she looked happy with what I said. After that we had a chat, I asked Hinoto to take care of everything. I want this house to be mine and I will build a foundation to care for the abandoned children.

After that give them all the work to be able to take care of the children who are here. Because I don't want them to do evil for a living. And that is for children because if you eat money that is not good it will have bad consequences later.

Hearing what I decided it was obvious they were so happy that they cried. I smiled because they were crying and told them to stop crying. Because a strong man doesn't look cool if he's too whiny.

They laughed but still shed tears, they also hugged each other. Maybe this is a good thing I can do to help them all.

"I'll see here once in a while! I won't visit too often!" I said to all of them.

"Miss, you don't have to worry! We will take care of them all and will never let you down, Miss!" Kotaro said to me with complete confidence.

After everything was done, I decided to leave the house. And entrusting everything to them, somehow I was sure of them and they could definitely take good care of the children.

On the way back to the hotel, I was very happy. So that forgetting Hinoto who was always beside me, she looked very upset because I forgot about her.

"Darling, did you forget me?" he asked in an annoyed tone but there was sadness.

I smiled back and kissed her cheek at a glance, saying thank you for helping me to take care of all I wanted. And I feel so lucky to have him by my side, I whisper the word "I love you so much."
